A Study on the Colors of Traditional Blongket Weaving Fabric at Griya Kain Tuan Kentang, Palembang City
Each woven product from various regions has its own uniqueness, because it comes from a different source of ideas. One example is Blongket weaving, which has unique characteristics. The most prominent feature in this study is the type of color and color combination in the Blongket woven fabric which is processed with a limar technique that makes a variety of colors. Until now, the uniqueness of the type of color and the combination of colors with the process of being smeared has not been widely known by the public in general. This study aims to study the types of colors and color combinations in Blongket weaving in Griya Kain Tuan Kentang. This research method uses a qualitative research method that requires informants, with data collection techniques namely interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study found 1) The types of colors in model 1 fabric were found in 5 colors including purple, white, green, gold, and brown. On the model 2 fabric, 5 colors were found including blue, pink, yellow, dark blue, and green. On the model 3 fabric, 6 colors were found including green, brown, dark blue, blue, purple, and white. 2) Color combinations in this study found tetrad color combination
Al Farabi's Philosophy on The Existence of Gambus Music In International Music Education
Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh filosofis Al Farabi terhadap eksistensi musik gambus dalam pendidikan seni musik mancanegara. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis konsep-konsep Al Farabi tentang musik dan bagaimana konsep-konsep tersebut mempengaruhi pengembangan musik gambus dalam konteks pendidikan seni musik internasional. Metode penelitian melibatkan analisis teks-teks filosofis Al Farabi, serta studi kasus tentang implementasi konsep-konsepnya dalam pengajaran dan praktik musik gambus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Al Farabi, khususnya mengenai harmoni, pengaruh musik pada jiwa, dan tujuan moral musik, memiliki dampak signifikan dalam perkembangan musik gambus. Penemuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemikiran Al Farabi masih relevan dan dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan seni musik mancanegara. Konsep-konsep filosofisnya mendorong pengalaman musik yang lebih dalam, spiritual, dan bermakna, dan dapat membantu musisi gambus serta pendidik seni musik mancanegara dalam mengembangkan pendekatan pendidikan yang lebih holistik dan berpusat pada nilai-nilai
Forbidden Marriages In Novel 'Kemarau' And Reality In The Life Of The Minangkabau Community
The novel “Kemarau” by A.A. Navis is a literary work that reflects the social life of the Minangkabau community. The main focus of this novel is on the life struggles of its characters. The issue of marriage, particularly the marriages involving the children in the novel, becomes the central focus of this research, aiming to uncover the problems and reasons behind the forbidden marriages portrayed in the story. Forbidden marriages in “Kemarau” arise from the father's attempt to overcome loneliness and the mother's mistake of not introducing or telling the story about the child's biological father. The causes of these forbidden marriages involve divorce, parental factors, and the influence of migration.In its analysis, this novel will be elaborated using sociological literature theory. This approach allows us to delve into the social life of a community reflected in a literary work and connect it with the reality of society during the birth and after the existence of the work. The research findings indicate that “Kemarau” is not only a literary masterpiece but also provides profound insights into the social dynamics of Minangkabau society. Kesenian Melayu yang cukup tua di Kepulauan Riau dulunya hampir punah atau istilahnya tidak ditemu kenali, namun terdapat seorang maestro memiliki tekad yang luar biasa, dilestarikan dan dipertahankan hingga saat ini. Jenis dan metode terkait observasi objek penelitian Tari MakYong muda, Ledang Balai, Kepulauan Riau, menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan ilmu etnografi. mendeskripsikan ke dalam teori yang saling berkaitan. wawancara narasumber, serta mempelajari gerak tari dan mendengar tutur bahasa. Kelengkapan lain dalam proses pengambilan data juga disertakan dalam pendokumentasian berbentuk foto dan video tari. MakYong muda merupakan sebuah tari yang dilingkupi dengan seni teater. yang juga tertuju pada sebuah seni lakon satu kesenian Melayu ialah Tari Makyong Muda, berlokasi di Sanggar Ledang Balai, Kota Tanjung Pinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau diciptakan dan dikembangkan oleh Said Parman yang memiliki nama panggung Tuan Habieb. Tari MakYong muda merupakan seni teater tradisional Melayu yang menggabungkan drama, tari, musik, dan naskah cerita. Pertunjukan ini melibatkan pemain profesional dengan pakaian dan properti sesuai peran, serta dua versi cerita yang mencerminkan kisah istana dan rakyat. Philosophy of Al-Farabi In Developing A Digital Music Notation Training Model for High School Art and Culture Teachers Based on CSCL
This article explores the philosophical aspects of Al-Farabi in the development of a music art training model, aimed at assisting high school Art and Culture teachers in understanding and teaching digital music notation. Al-Farabi, a great philosopher from the Classical Islamic period, offers valuable insights into education and learning, which are applicable in the context of music art teaching. The article elucidates how Al-Farabi's views, particularly on ethics, morality, and happiness, can be integrated into a training model based on Computer Support Collaborative Learning (CSCL) to enrich the art teachers' learning experience. Furthermore, it provides an overview of how digital music notation can be implemented in high school cultural arts education and why this approach is relevant in the rapidly evolving context of music education. This article is expected to serve as a guide for developing a holistic and philosophical training model in music art education, focusing on understanding digital music notation and applying Al-Farabi's philosophical principles in the learning process. Additionally, this research highlights the importance of integrating technology in art education, demonstrating how digital approaches can broaden the horizons of music art learning. Investigating The Tourism Potential Of Nagari Pasilihan: Uncovering A Hidden Paradise In Ranah Minang
his article aims to prove that Nagari Pasilihan in Solok Regency has extraordinary natural and cultural resources, where these natural riches create a variety of beautiful tourism potentials. Data were obtained directly through observation and documentation. Other sources for this research also include the internet. The collected data were then adjusted between internet data and on-site conditions, along with interview results to ensure the validity of the presented data.Findings in this article include several attractive tourism potentials to be promoted, such as cultural activities within the community involving customs and traditions, a sacred grave of a respected figure believed to vibrate during significant events in the region, the beautiful Ombilin River with its clear water suitable for rafting, valuable and fascinating green stones, the Lubuk Larangan fish as part of the yearly cultural harvest, the panoramic view of Bukik Palano showcasing the beauty of the surrounding area from the summit, and the pine forest that can be a family tourist destination.Based on these findings, there is a wealth of natural potential that can be developed into tourist attractions for the wider community, and Nagari Pasilihan Solok can be considered a "Hidden Paradise." The government should take serious measures in managing these natural potentials as tourist destinations
Analysis Of Ecoprint Results On Cotton Material Using Kenikir Leaves (Cosmos Caudatus) With Mordant Mixture
This research was motivated by the effect of mordant mixture on the results of kenikir leaf ecoprint. The purpose of this study is to describe the direction of color names, clarity of motifs and the effect of mordant mixtures on ecoprint results. This research is experimental descriptive quantitative research conducted by making an ecoprint with steam blanket technique with the combination of 3 mordants. The mordants used were alum, arbor, soda abu, sodium acetate and whiting. The natural motif used was kenikir leaves (cosmos caudatus). The dye used is secang. The type of data in this study is primary data with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses frequency percentages and uses the SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solution) Version 27.0 program. The color name direction of the leaves using a mixture of alum, arbor, and soda abu produces an olive color. A mixture of alum, arbor, and sodium acetate produces a dark brown color. The mixture of alum, arbor, and whiting produces a dark Olive Green color. The results of the motif clarity test with a mixture of alum, arbor, soda abu are categorized as clear, a mixture of alum, arbor, sodium acetate is categorized as clear while a mixture of alum, arbor, and whiting is categorized as unclear
SYMBOLIC MEANING OF COSTUMES AND PROPERTY GONG DANCE OF THE DAWAN TRIBE NANSEAN VILLAGE
Gong Dance is a profane dance of the Dawan Tribe community in Insana District, North Central Timor (TTU) Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province which is usually danced in various events, both traditional events and as a reception dance.a symbol of authority, toughness, courage and masculinity of a Dawan tribe man. In particular, the symbolic meaning of Gong Dance is analyzed in terms of the costumes and properties used which are divided into three parts, namely the head which consists of pilu and pet no’o, body part consists of foke, molo, kain beti, pasu, sbeta and aluk. The leg consists of poentuf, bukhaef and giring-giring. While the properties of the gong dance are sumi and selendang. To analyze the symbolic meaning of the costumes and properties of the gong dance using qualitative descriptive analytical methods. Tari Gong secara umum dimaknai oleh masyarakat Suku Dawan sebagai simbol kewibawaan, ketangguhan, keberanian dan kejantanan seorang laki-laki Suku Dawan. Secara khusus, makna simbolik Tari Gong dianalisis dari segi kostum dan properti yang digunakan yang terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yakni bagian kepala yang terdiri dari pilu dan pet no’o, bagian badan terdiri dari foke, molo, kain beti, pasu, sbeta dan aluk. Bagian kaki terdiri dari poentuf, bukhaef dan giring-giring. Sedangkan properti tari gong adalah sumi dan selendang. Untuk menganalisis makna simbolik kostum dan properti tari gong menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif analitikal. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara serta dokumentasi.Kata Kunci: Tari Gong, Makna Simbolik, Kostum dan Propert
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BLENDED LEARNING-BASED LEARNING METHODS IN PIP VIOLIN SUBJECTS AT SMK NEGERI 8 SURAKARTA
Learning in Indonesia has experienced the impact of changes in learning activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has been spreading for around two years. The obvious change happen is in the learning process itself, some of the efforts that teachers has to prepare, such as adjusting the learning strategies and the learning methods accordingly.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of PIP violin learning with blended learning-based methods so it can run effectively. PIP Violin is a violin practice subject at SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta. In its application using drill and discourse learning methods which are implemented in blended learning (offline and online).The result of this research is that the learning process runs effectively, because by combining offline and online learning the learning process runs flexibly and there is no less learning. Effective learning aspects are seen from the learning process, student responses, communicative learning, management of learning activities and student learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Effectiveness; Learning methods; Blended Learning; Violin LearningEFEKTIVITAS METODE PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS BLENDED LEARNING PADA MATA PELAJARAN PIP BIOLA DI SMK NEGERI 8 SURAKARTA ABSTRAK Pembelajaran di Indonesia mengalami dampak perubahan pada kegiatan pembelajaran dikarenakan adanya pandemi covid 19 yang mewabah selama kurang lebih dua tahun. Perubahan yang jelas terjadi ialah pada proses pembelajarannya ,beberapa upaya yang perlu disiapkan guru seperti menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran dan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran PIP biola dengan metode berbasis blended learning sehingga dapat berjalan efektif. PIP Biola merupakan mata pelajaran paktek biola yang berada di SMK Negeri 8 Surakarta. Dalam penerapannya menggunakan metode pembelajaran drill dan ceramah yang diimplementasikan secara blended learning ( luring dan daring). Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran berjalan efektiv, karena dengan menggabungkan pembelajaran luring dan daring proses pembelajaran berjalan fleksibel dan tidak terjadi less learning. Aspek pembelajaran efektiv dilihat dari proses pembelajarannya, respon siswa, pembelajaran yang komunikatif, pengelolaan kegiatan pembelajaran dan hasil pembelajaran siswa.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas Pembelajaran; Metode Pembelajaran; Blended Learning; Pembelajaran Biol
Aesthetics Of Aeng Tong-Tong Village Kris As An Effort To Preserve The Life Of The People Of Sumenep Madura
The value of the keris aesthetic in the tong-tong village as a form of cultural beauty for the life of the Sumenep people changes the community paradigm about the aesthetics of keris, keris as a form of symbolic ingenuity, or becomes a collection object that is seen aesthetically. Keris is also a tool for various activities. Finally, the function of the dagger is as an art object. This study used qualitative descriptive research with a purposive sampling approach followed by the collection of observational data, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the basic materials of the keris are iron, steel, and nickel. At the same time, the aesthetic value that can be classified is determined by how many repetitions of the folding and forging process (saton). The more folding, the softer the prestige pattern will be produced. The forms of keris found in Aeng Tong-tong village are Keris Keraton Sumenep, Keris Dhamar Sumenep, Keris Gati Pamor Brahma Watu Sumenep, Carubuk Luk 7 Sumenep, Keris Senamper Ngulit Watermelon Sumenep, Keris Brojol Sepuh Dalem Sumenep, Keris Empu Koso Pamor Jung Madura Sepuh, each of these dagger forms has high aesthetic value and historical value so that the people of the Sumenep area always maintain artistic value, sublime, and also cultural values that have been attached for generations to the people of aeng tong-tong village in general Keywords: Keris, Aesthetics, Value, Art
