Get PDFTanjung Gadang Health Center is one of the health centers in Sijunjung Regency which reported 128 cases of normal deliveries with perineal injuries. Mothers giving birth normally in 2021. And these cases were dominated by degree 2 perineal rupture at Tanjung Gadang Health Center in 2021. The purpose of the study was to to determine the effectiveness of giving boiled eggs on perineal wound healing in postpartum women . This research is quantitative with Quasi Experimental type with post test only non equivalent control group design . The population in this study were all postpartum mothers in the Tanjung Gadang Health Center, Sijunjung Regency as many as 30 postpartum mothers. The research was conducted in Januari 2022. The sample of this study was 30 people who were divided into 2 experimental groups. Sampling with total sampling, data were analyzed by Univariate and Bivariate. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the average wound healing score (REEDA Scale) in the group given one boiled egg a day after 7 days was 5.42 said to be slow and in the group giving two boiled eggs a day after 7 days was 3.84 it was said to be fast. The results of the bivariate analysis showed the effectiveness of giving boiled eggs on perineal wound healing in postpartum women (P value = 0.013). So, Wound healing was better in the intervention group of 2 boiled eggs/day . It is hoped that postpartum mothers will increase their knowledge and apply the consumption of boiled eggs to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum women . HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN PEMANFAATAN BUKU KIA DENGAN KUNJUNGAN ANTENATAL CARE (ANC)
Get PDFThe guguk panjang health center is the national health center with the lowest K4 coverage and experienced a decline from 84.3% to 53.32% in 2018. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and utilization of MCH books with antenatal care visits (ANC) in the working area of the health center the length of the Bukittinggi city in 2018.The type of this research was descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study approach. It was conducted on November to December 2018 in Guguk Panjang Community Health Center. The populations were all TM III pregnant women. They were 48 people. Then, by using total sampling technique, all of the populations were chosen as the samples. The data were collected trough questionnaire sheets. Next, it was analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis.The results of this research showed that 55.3% of respondents had poor social support. Then, 51.1% of them used KIA books well. Last 57.4% of respondents had regular ANC. Moreover, there was a correlation between social support (p = 0.041, OR = 4.364) and utilization of the MCH books (p = 0.028, OR = 4,667) toward Antenatal Care (ANC) visits. In short, it can be concluded that social support and utilization of MCH books were significantly associated with Antenatal Care (ANC) visits. Then, it is expected to all parties, especially pregnant women able to utilize MCH books in order to enlarge their and it may change their behavior to do better Antenatal Care visits.Keywords : Antenatal Care Visits, Social Support, Utilization of MCH books
EFEKTIVITAS PIJAT EFFLEURAGE DAN KOMPRES PANAS DINGIN TERHADAP NYERI PERSALINAN KALA I FASE AKTIF
Get PDFChildbirth pain is caused by uterine contractions, cervical dilatation, and perennial distention. Pain that occurs affects the condition of the mother in the form of fatigue, fear, worry and stress. Stress can cause weaking of uterine contractions and result in a long labor. This triggers an increase in maternal mortality (AKI). The purpose of this reseach was to determine the effectiveness of effluerage massage and cold hot compresses in the first active labor pain phase in BPM Buah HatiBangko. The research design was carried out by using a two group pretest-post test design. It was included in the form of a quasi experiment. The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate with independent T-test. In order to get the sample, purposive sampling technique had used. It was conducted on 9 May to 11 July 2018. The results of this research showed that the average of labor pain before effluerage massage was 5.75. Then, after doing the massage the average labor pain was 5.12 with the average difference was 0.625. Meanwhile, the average labor pain before cold hot compress was 5.50 and after doing the compress the average was 4.12 with an average difference of 1.375. Then, there was a difference P value of effleurage and compress massage, it was 008. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that cold hot compresses was more effective in reducing first labor painpharasethan effluerage massage. Konsumsi makanan/jajanan merupakan salah satu asupan makanan yang digemari oleh masyarakat terutama anak-anak usia dini atau sekolah TK. makanan tidak sehat memberikan pengaruh buruk pada kesehatan anak, memilih makanan/jajanan sembarangan berakibat nafsu makan berkurang dan mengalami masalah gizi anak dan mengalami berat badan kurang, atau berat badan lebih (obesitas). Pendidikan gizi diperlukan oleh anak usia dini atau sekolah TK terutama untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, dan sikap pemilihan jajanan yang baik dan sehat. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mengenali anak-anak tentang pemilihan jajanan sehat dan tidak sehat serta melihat pemahaman terhadap pengetahuan, dan sikap siswa siswi tentang makanan yang sehat untuk dikonsumsi melalui edukasi dengan Media Audiovisual dan leaflet. Metode dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan tanya jawab langsung kepada siswa siswi TK Ruhama tentang mengenal makanan/jajanan sehat dan tidak sehat.berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pengetahuan, sikap anak TK Ruhama menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan wawasanya tentang mengenal dan memilih makanan atau jajanan sehat dan tidak sehat. Obat tradisional dan tanaman obat banyak digunakan masyarakat menengah kebawah terutama dalam upaya preventif, promotif dan rehabilitatif. Metode: Kegiatan yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa Promosi Kesehatan Tentang minuman tradisional sehat pada ibu hamil di Lapangan Kantin Wirabraja. Monitoring dan evaluasi diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan kuisioner yang diberikan kepada peserta. Hasil: Dari hasil monitoring kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar dimana terdapat faktor pendukung yaitu dukungan Masyarakat serta farktor penghambat yaitu waktu dan ruangan. Dari hasil evaluasi menggunakan statistik uji-t dependen (berpasangan) terdapat perbedaan signifikan (ρ=0,000) antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi. Given that there are still many hospitals and clinical nurses who have not been exposed to the 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI), it is important to do socialization by means of knowledge dissemination and roleplay in applying the 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI) in nursing care. The purpose of this community service is for nurses and room heads to be able to understand, analyze and apply 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI) in nursing care. The implementation of this activity is carried out with lectures and discussions as well as direct role play within one week in the treatment room. The result of this activity is an increase in the ability of nurses by 54.35% in applying the 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI) according to SOPs in providing nursing care. It is hoped that after this activity, the service quality department can make standardized SOPs in the application of 3S (SDKI, SIKI, SLKI) in inpatient rooms

Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan edukasi dengan menggunakan media Penyuluhan tentang Edukasi Kesehatan Senam Yoga dengan Aroma Terapi Lavender Pada Remaja Putri Kegiatan diikuti oleh 50 orang peserta dari perwakilan Remaja Putri Di Jorong Bateh Gadang Nagari Pagadih Kecamatan Palupuh Kabupaten Agam. Tim pelaksana sebanyak 3 orang terdiri dari 2 orang Narasumber dan 1 orang fasilitator. Kegiatan pengabdian meliputi penyuluhan dalam bentuk ceramah yang dilakukan di ruangan tertutup dengan dilengkapi media presentasi (LCD) Di Jorong Bateh Gadang Nagari Pagadih Kecamatan Palupuh Kabupaten Agam.Pengelompokkan responden berdasarkan umur , Disimpulkan bahwa 52 % responden berumur antara 10 – 15 tahun dan 48 % dengan rentang umur 16 – 18 tahun Hasil post test terdapat peningkatan keseluruhan pengetahuan pada remaja putri mengenai senam yoga dan aromaterapi lavender bai

Monitoring of Nutritional Status in 2016, reached 27.5%. The method of implementing this service activity is to provide Communication, Information and Education (KIE) to the group of mothers under five at the Posyandu Nagari Sariak. The intervention activities carried out were IEC regarding stunting and the factors causing it, providing information media in the form of bookleats and leaflets. From this activity, it is hoped that the puskesmas officers can provide education to the community about the importance of maintaining nutrition during adolescence and pregnancy
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PREDISPOSING FACTORS AND UNMET NEED FOR FAMILY PLANNING CONTRACEPTION, WEST SUMATRA PROVINCE
No full textUnmet need for contraception is an inconsistency of contraceptive requirement. This study aims to determine the relationship between predisposing factors and the unmet needs of type 1 and the unmet needs of type 2 family planning in West Sumatra Province. This was a study using data from National Mid-Term Development Plan Survey (SRPJMN) of West Sumatra, with a total sample of 1180 couples of reproductive age. The categories of dependent variable were type 1 unmet need, type 2 unmet need, and met need. Independent variables consists of predisposing. The results showed that the majority (58.5%) of the subjects were> 35 years old, with ≤2 (57.7%) children and living in rural areas (60.9%). The level of unmet need for type 2 (29.7%) was much higher than that of type 1 unmet need (22.2%). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that the variables associated with type 1 unmet need were education (p = 0.028) and residence (p = 0.025). In unmet need type 2 the related variable is residence (p = 0.012). Recommendations are addressed to family planning health workers in order to improve quality in family planning services, collaborate with religious leaders and community leaders to commit effective counseling so it can improve the needs of contraception and rational use of family planning.Keywords: type 1 unmet need, type 2 unmet need, family planning
