Get PDFThe article examines the current state of development of the alternative energy market in Ukraine. An analysis of the energy market of Ukraine was made and the main factors stimulating the development of alternative energy were determined. These factors include legislative, economic, technological, administrative, geographic, and informational psychological factors. Changes in legislation related to the use of renewable energy sources are analyzed. A plan for the development of renewable energy sources in Ukraine is being considered. Today, most countries are trying to change their development scenarios to meet the ever-increasing energy needs. They do this by introducing new policies and focusing on alternative energy and energy efficiency issues. The transformation of energy markets is an important manifestation of modern energy trends. In this context, the achievements made within the framework of the Third Energy Package of the European Union regarding the creation of the European Union energy market should be particularly important. The analysis of the consequences of the transformation of energy markets in accordance with the Third Energy Package of the European Union allows to determine the main features and trends of the development of modern energy and to form connections between the subjects of the energy market in the next 10-20 years. All European countries have set targets for renewable energy. The European Union aims to become the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050.To achieve this goal, the European Union has launched its most ambitious package of measures, the European Green Deal, which aims to help people and companies in Europe achieve a sustainable green transition. In the light of the current pandemic, growing competition, globalization and ongoing European integration, research into the development of alternative energy is particularly important for Ukraine. Changes to the «green tariff» for wind and solar energy are presented. The paper shows that modern technological trends and improvement of energy efficiency and energy security of the country require changes in electricity production and are important for the country as a whole.У статті розглядається сучасний стан розвитку ринку альтернативної енергетики в Україні. Зроблено аналіз енергетичного ринку України та визначено основні фактори, які стимулюють розвиток альтернативної енергетики. Проаналізовано зміни в законодавстві, що стосуються використання відновлювальних джерел енергії. Розглядається план розвитку відновлювальних джерел енергії в Україні. Приведені зміни «зеленого тарифу» для вітряної та сонячної енергетики. В роботі показано, що сучасні технологічні тенденції та підвищення енергоефективності та енергобезпеки країни вимагають внесення змін у виробництво електроенергії

It is noted that the subsoil use sector is one of the most important in the country’s economy and is currently undergoing reform due to globalization and Ukraine’s integration into the global economy. The main directions for improving management in the subsoil use sector are considered. The necessity of effective mechanisms of innovative management in the subsoil use sector is substantiated. A mechanism for innovative management in the subsoil use sector has been developed, which includes: the subject, object, goals, tasks, functions, methods, principles, approaches, tools, support, evaluation, organizational structure, and levels, taking into account the impact of external factors and the specifics of state regulation in the subsoil use sector. It is determined that innovative management in the subsoil use sector should be based on the use of a comprehensive management mechanism aimed at achieving the coordination of interests and requirements of all stakeholders in ensuring the effective use and reproduction of subsoilУ статті розроблено механізм інноваційного управління у сфері надрокористування. Get PDFThe article demonstrates that Ukraine faces significant challenges in the management of solid household waste. These issues include the absence of a clear waste disposal strategy and insufficient attention to environmental safety. Most landfills in Ukraine fail to meet safety standards and environmental norms, posing a threat to the surrounding environment. Effective resolution of these problems involves the implementation of advanced solid household waste processing technologies and the improvement of waste management systems to ensure sustainable resource utilization and reduce negative environmental impact.The prospects for the development of enterprises involved in solid household waste processing are discussed, including societal awareness of environmental pollution issues and the need for protection, legislative initiatives aimed at reducing waste volumes, and technological progress enabling the creation of new products from recycled waste while minimizing environmental impact. It is argued that the development of this sector can stimulate investments and contribute to the creation of new jobs in the environmental economy.It is argued that effective strategic management of investment activities in enterprises dealing with solid household waste processing is a crucial factor in their successful development and achieving competitive advantage in the market. It is demonstrated that based on the analysis of the enterprise’s needs and opportunities, an investment strategy should be developed to align with strategic goals and enhance its competitiveness. This strategy involves optimal resource utilization to ensure sustainable development and maximize financial results.The main stages of developing and implementing the investment management strategy in enterprises dealing with solid household waste processing include market and needs analysis, selection of investment directions, evaluation of investment projects, development of an investment plan, implementation of investment projects, monitoring and control, evaluation of results, and strategy adjustment. It is proposed that for maximum effectiveness, these stages of the strategy should be implemented comprehensively.У статті доведено, що Україна має значні проблеми у сфері управління твердими побутовими відходами. Ці проблеми включають у себе відсутність чіткої стратегії, що спрямована на утилізацію відходів, і недостатню увагу до екологічної безпеки. Більшість сміттєзвалищ в Україні не відповідають вимогам стандартів безпеки та екологічних норм, що створює загрозу для навколишнього середовища. Обґрунтовано, що ефективне стратегічне управління інвестиційною діяльністю на підприємствах з переробки твердих побутових відходів є важливим чинником їх успішного розвитку та досягнення конкурентної переваги на ринку. Доведено, що на основі аналізу потреб та можливостей підприємства необхідно розробити інвестиційну стратегію, яка відповідатиме стратегічним цілям та сприятиме збільшенню його конкурентоспроможності. Така стратегія передбачає оптимальне використання ресурсів для забезпечення сталого розвитку підприємства з переробки ТПВ та максимізації його фінансових результатів

Get PDFThe article clarifies the essence of the concepts of managerial and corporate culture and management activities of local self-government officials. It is substantiated that the managerial culture of local self-government leaders should be considered as a systemic, dynamic phenomenon formed on the basis of their personal, cognitive, spiritual, value, cultural qualities, behavioral patterns and management styles, which constantly interact with each other, forming structural components and performing specific functions necessary for the implementation of management activities and successful development of territorial communities. The influence of the managerial culture of the heads of local self-government bodies on the development of territorial communities of Ukraine is determined. The authors review the legal framework for the functioning and development of territorial communities. The models of formation of successful management activities of heads of local self-government bodies and corporate culture of territorial communities are developed. The correlation between the level of development of territorial communities and the quality of the managerial culture of local self-government leaders, taking into account the limiting endogenous and exogenous factors, is revealed. The TOP-10 regions of Ukraine by the share of active enterprises of territorial communities in their total number, the TOP-10 territorial communities of Ukraine by revenues and expenditures in UAH on a cumulative basis for the 1st quarter of 2024 are identified. The article assesses the performance of local government leaders by the residents of territorial communities of Ukraine in terms of emotional perception and reveals the influence of the managerial culture of local government leaders on the formation of the corporate culture of the TOP-10 territorial communities of Ukraine in April-May 2023 and 2024. The article shows that the corporate culture of local government leaders has a decisive influence on the development of territorial communities. The personal culture of managers, their spiritual values and guidelines, their adherence to ethical and moral standards, a constant process of self-improvement, metacognitive self-knowledge and self-motivation affect the level of development of their managerial culture, and managers can (and should) constantly improve its level. It is established that the continuous self-development of managers improves their managerial culture, and the latter, in turn, forms and develops the corporate culture of territorial communities.У статті уточнено сутність понять управлінська і корпоративна культура й управлінська діяльність керівників органів місцевого самоврядування. Визначено вплив управлінської культури керівників органів місцевого самоврядування на розвиток територіальних громад України. Авторами здійснено огляд нормативно-правової бази функціонування і розвитку територіальних громад. Розроблено моделі формування успішної управлінської діяльності керівників органів місцевого самоврядування та корпоративної культури територіальних громад. Виявлено взаємозв’язок між рівнем розвитку територіальних громад та якістю управлінської культури керівників органів місцевого самоврядування з урахуванням обмежуючих ендогенних та екзогенних факторів. Виокремлено ТОП-10 областей України за часткою активних підприємств територіальних громад у їхній загальній кількості, ТОП-10 територіальних громад України за доходами та видатками у грн за наростаючим підсумком за 1 квартал 2024 р. Здійснено оцінку діяльності керівників органів місцевого самоврядування мешканцями територіальних громад України за емоційним сприйняттям та виявлено вплив управлінської культури керівників органів місцевого самоврядування на формування корпоративної культури ТОП-10 територіальних громад України за квітень-травень 2023 р. та 2024 р.Встановлено, що постійний саморозвиток керівників вдосконалює їхню управлінську культуру, а остання, в свою чергу, формує і розвиває корпоративну культуру територіальних громад

Get PDFIn this article, the author analyzes the current state and development prospects of Ukraine’s stock market. A developed stock market ensures the economic growth of a country. For its functioning, institutional measures, market infrastructure, investment opportunities (market breadth), available resources and investment objects, and market trends are essential. The author notes a decrease in the number of market organizers in Ukraine and a reduction in the volume of exchange contracts from 2014 to 2022. The growth in trading in 2023 was driven by an increase in military domestic government bonds. Domestic government bonds have averaged 93.2% of all exchange contracts over the past ten years, reflecting the status of Ukraine’s stock market as a sector serving state needs for resource mobilization rather than fostering the economic development of industries, the private sector, and investment expansion. The main factors influencing the state of Ukraine’s stock market include the war, its impact on the economy, and institutional factors. Collaboration with international organizations, integration into the European Union, opening Ukraine’s market to foreign issuers, and the development of mobile applications and electronic trading platforms contribute to the development of Ukraine’s stock market. However, the prolongation of military actions, significant infrastructure damage, environmental harm, and the overall deterioration of the economy worsen the market’s development prospects. The presence of significant investment potential in the country, mechanisms for privatizing state enterprises, adherence to international standards, and readiness for market reforms can drive changes in the post-war period.У статті розглянуто стан фондового ринку України, оцінено інституційні заходи, інфраструктуру ринку, визначено чинники впливу на нього. Відзначено скорочення обсягів торгів, торгівельних майданчиків, кількості акціонерних товариств. Направленість ринку на продаж облігацій внутрішньої державної позики призводить до обслуговування фондовим ринком потреб державної влади, а не розвитку приватного сектору та інвестиційно-привабливих галузей економіки. The fintech ecosystem includes five elements: financial institutions, technology companies or network data, government, consumers, and fintech startups.Fintech improve the industrial development of the market by creating an environment in which fintech companies, financial institutions and regulators can collaborate which in turn helps to improve the quality of the offered products and services, allows the exchange of knowledge and best practices.The sustainable development of the fintech industry depends on a various number of factors, the main of which is the availability of the appropriate infrastructure, the functioning of which in turn depends on the flexible system of taxation of companies, comprehensive investment support, included various sources and forms of financing, as well as the availability of an effective regulatory and legal framework for proceedings business activity.The article examines the essence of Fintech ecosystems by analyzing different approaches to defining the concept of fintech ecosystems, as well as analyzes its main attributes. The structural elements and key players of the fintech market have been identified, as well as the main stages of formation and development of sustainable and profitable fintech ecosystems have been considered, including the factors contributing to that formation and the benefits for stakeholders. Based on investigation, the attributes of choosing a partner and/or counterparty for a fintech startup have been proposed and the examples of the latter are given.У статті досліджено сутність фінтех-екосистем, а також проаналізовано її основні атрибути. Get PDFThe article examines the formation of the curatorium of the Volyn school district in the interwar period. The analysis of legal documents that regulated the activities of curators, school inspectors and teachers in the territory of the Volyn Voivodeship in the interwar period is carried out. During its existence, the board of trustees performed various educational tasks, trying to organizationally combine Volyn and all-Polish schooling. Changes in the field of education were not always positively perceived by the non-Polish population in the region, which became the reason for the exacerbation of national problems.У статті розглянуто формування кураторії Волинського шкільного округу в міжвоєнний період. Здійснюється аналіз нормативно-правових документів, які регулювали діяльність кураторів, шкільних інспекторів та вчителів на території Волинського воєводства в міжвоєнний період. Упродовж свого існування кураторія виконувала різні освітні завдання, намагаючись поєднати організаційно волинське та загальнопольське шкільництво. Зміни в сфері освіти не завжди позитивно сприймалися непольським населенням у регіоні, що стало причиною загострення національних проблем

Get PDF“Among all the peoples of the world, the English excel in three extraordinary things – piety, freedom, and trade” – these words belong to Jean Louis Montesquieu (Max Weber 48). He, like another prominent French Enlightenment thinker, Voltaire, admired the English liberal system and did not give up hope for its implementation in his homeland. Although French Enlightenment figures are more famous than English ones, and historians traditionally pay much more attention to the Great French Revolution than to the Glorious Revolution, the English Enlightenment and the English Revolution took place earlier in time and had a greater impact on world history. In fact, the French, to some extent, emulated the English, including the founder of liberalism, J. Locke, who will be given special attention in this article. Therefore, liberalism is not an invention of the French; it became the quintessence of the evolutionary progress of English history, the key events of which occurred in the 17th century. And French liberal maxims and experiments took place only in the next century. Historical assessments of the Great French Revolution differ, but all recognize the striking difference between its idealistic intentions and brutal reality. The struggle for freedom degenerated into the bloody Robespierre terror and eventually into the Napoleonic dictatorship. Of course, the question of why the French Enlightenment project did not have practical success will always remain rhetorical, as it is impossible to reach a consensus on the assessment of such a complex historical phenomenon in the ideologically engaged humanitarian field. However, this should not prevent researchers from trying to understand the essence of this phenomenon.Ця стаття присвячена дослідженню зв’язку між кальвіністським соціальним вченням (вираженим в пуританізмі й вігізмі) та ідеологією лібералізму. Теологія Ж. Кальвіна була прогресивною та в деякому революційній для політичної царини. Вони заклали підґрунтя для обмеженого врядування, а саме це і є базис, на якому зріс республіканізм та сучасна ліберально-демократична система. Ж. Кальвін з усіх реформаторів був найзапеклішим ворогом тиранії як церковної, так і світської. А його послідовники, насамперед гугеноти та пуритани, найрадикальніші поборники свободи. "Фанатик кальвінізму був фанатиком свободи, бо в моральній війні за свободу його віровчення було зброєю та найвірнішим союзником у боротьбі" (Лекція 3. Кальвінізм і політика. А. Кайпер). Нонконформісти в лоні Англіканської церкви вели безкомпромісну боротьбу за чистоту християнської віри, що ніяк не відволікало від сумлінної праці та накопичення капіталу. Адже свобода не є свободою, якщо вона часткова. Вільнолюбний дух пуританізму просто не міг співіснувати з ідеєю божественного права королів та натхненною нею монархічним свавіллям. Спочатку розписом пера ревні кальвіністи покінчили з тиранами, а згодом під керівництвом О. Кромвеля буквально обезголовили монархію та встановили республіканський лад. Монархам все ж вдалося повернути трон, але поразка пуританізму під час Реставрації оманлива. Бо релігійні нонконформісти спромоглися безповоротно переформатувати ідейний та ціннісний ландшафт, в якому свобода набула культового значення для англійців. Зрештою спадкоємці пуритан – партія свободи вігів зробила все, аби вислів «англійська королева» означав саме те, що він означає зараз. А видатний представник цієї партії Дж. Лок надав цим ідеям філософського обґрунтування

Emphasis is placed on the advantages of using the organizational structure in practice.An effective type of organizational structure for modern enterprises is also considered. It is quite important to implement in the activity the type of organizational structure that is suitable for the functional capabilities and direction of activity of a specific organization. У статті подано аналіз особливостей організаційних структур сучасного підприємства, розглянуто принципи застосування дев’яти видів організаційних структур у діяльності організацій. Автор аналізує особливості використання аспектів управління у процесі взаємодії з одним із видів організаційної структури, а також зазначає про важливість використання у діяльності підприємств організаційної структури, оскільки якісно сформований управлінський процес об’єктивно виділяється у зростанні організації на ринку конкурентів. У дослідженні також закцентовано увагу на перевагах у застосуванні на практиці організаційної структури.Також розглянуто ефективний тип організаційної структури для сучасних підприємств. Досить важливою є реалізація у діяльності того типу організаційної структури, який підходить під функційні можливості та напрям діяльності конкретної організації
ВІЙНА ТА АВТОРИТАРИЗМ: ЗАПИТ НА «СИЛЬНУ РУКУ» В УКРАЇНІ В УМОВАХ ВІЙНИ
Get PDFThe article analyzed the dynamics of public opinion regarding the demand for a «strong hand» in Ukraine and the likelihood of the country’s slide into authoritarianism. Taking as a theoretical basis the hypothesis that during socio-political crises, authoritarian attitudes grow in society, a correlation analysis was conducted to test it. It was found that periods of crisis affect the fact that Ukrainians begin to rally around the institutions of power, which in turn leads to an increase in the level of trust on the part of citizens and, in connection with this, the demand for a «strong hand» increases. The analysis of factors that could indicate the growth of authoritarian attitudes among the population also showed that there are no social grounds for the establishment of authoritarianism in Ukraine. In particular, during a full-scale invasion, the priority of freedom over security increased. At the same time, growth increased both in comparison with pre-war indicators and in comparison with 2022 and 2023. Similarly, the priority of freedom over equality also increased. However, the assessment of Ukrainians regarding the perception of influence on the course of their lives has decreased somewhat, and the level of xenophobia has also increased. At the same time, despite the lack of social grounds for establishing authoritarianism, the tendencies on the part of the authorities are opposite. In particular, in the conditions of a full-scale war, the government’s control over the power structures increased, the subjectivity of the parliament decreased, and the full power ended up in the hands of the President’s Office. However, other factors that act as safeguards against Ukraine’s slide into authoritarianism have remained unchanged. Therefore, although the actions of the authorities look threatening, there are no social grounds for establishing authoritarianism in Ukraine.У статті подано аналіз динаміки громадської думки щодо запиту на «сильну руку» в Україні та ймовірність сповзання країни до авторитаризму. Беручи за теоретичну основу гіпотезу про те, що під час суспільно-політичних криз у суспільстві зростають авторитарні настрої, було проведено кореляційний аналіз. З’ясовано, що кризові періоди впливають на те, що українці починають гуртуватися навколо владних інституцій, що призводить до зростання рівня довіри громадян і посилення запиту на «сильну руку». Аналіз чинників, які могли б свідчити про зростання авторитарних настроїв серед населення, також показав, що соціальних підстав для встановлення авторитаризму в Україні немає. Зокрема під час повномасштабного вторгнення пріоритетність свободи над безпекою зросла. Варто зауважити, що ріст збільшився як порівняно з довоєнними показниками, так і за результатами зіставлення показників 2022 року з 2023. Аналогічно зросла і пріоритетність свободи над рівністю. Однак оцінка українців щодо уявлення про їхній вплив на перебіг власного життя дещо знизилась, а також збільшився рівень ксенофобії. Водночас попри відсутність соціальних підстав для встановлення авторитаризму, тенденції з боку влади протилежні. Зокрема в умовах повномасштабної війни збільшився контроль влади над силовими структурами, знизилась суб’єктність парламенту, повнота влади опинилась у руках Офісу президента. Однак інші чинники, які є запобіжниками від скочування України до авторитаризму, лишились незмінними. Тому, хоч дії влади й виглядають загрозливо, однак соціальних підстав для встановлення авторитаризму в Україні немає
