Convergencia de soluciones de ecuaciones multidimensionales de difusión no lineal a soluciones de frente de onda
No full textEn este trabajo establecemos el análogo multidimensional de dos teoremas de convergencia de P. Fife y J. B. Mcleod para el problema a valor inicial El primer resultado establece que una solución que se asemeja inicialmente a un frente de onda (“travelling front”) en alguna dirección, evolucionará uniformemente en tal frente de onda, cuando t ? + ? , en la misma dirección. El segundo resultado prueba que para condiciones iniciales apropiadas la solución evolucionará en una onda esférica con velocidad constante.Para su demostración, se obtienen estimaciones a priori que corrigen las dadas por P. Fife [4]
Trayectorias óptimas para un sistema lineal no autónomo
No full textEl objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el retrato fase de trayectorias de un sistema de control lineal en el plano, no autónomo y con restricción de estado, que transfieren al origen cada punto de la restricción. Para demostrar que tales trayectorias son óptimas en el sentido de alcanzar el origen en tiempo mínimo, se aplica un criterio de suficiencia para inclusiones diferenciales

It is shown, in one case, that the coerciveness of the bilinear form associated can be easily deduced by using the continuous- dependence result for the Laplace equation with Dirichlet data. On the codomination number of a graph
No full textGiven a graph G = (V, E), set S ? V is a dominating set if each node of V - S is adjacent to at least one node in S. The domination number of G is the smallest size of a dominating set and the codomination number is the domination number of its complement. We determine the codomination number of a graph having diameter at least three. Further we explore the effects of this result on the open problem of characterizing graphs having equal domination and codomination numbers
