    Analisis Faktor Keterlambatan Membaca pada Siswa SD Kelas V : Studi Kasus Siswa SDN Wolonbue, Nusa Tenggara Timur

    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi faktor keterlambatan membaca siswa kelas tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pendekatan studi kasus dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil yang lebih mendalam mengenai situasi atau makna suatu subyek yang diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan beberap siswa kelas V yang mengalami kesulitan membaca, Guru kelas, dan orang tua siswa dapat diketahui bahwa keterlambatan membaca siswa kelas dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Faktor intelektual yang mencakup tingkat kecerdasan anak yaitu kemampuan siswa yang rendah di bandingkan dengan teman-temannya sehingga siswa tersebut lamban dalam membaca. Hal ini disebabkan oleh rendahnya minat baca siswa baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Faktor lingkungan, ligkungan keluarga juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi kemampuan membaca siswa. Melihat latar belakang orang tua siswa yang hanya lulusan SD dan sulit membaca membuat siswa susah untuk belajar di rumah. Keadaan ekonomi keluarga yang rendah juga menjadi faktor penghambat membaca, karena orang tua akan sibuk bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dan tidak memperhatikan perkembangan anak di sekolah. Sebagian besar orang tua siswa juga beranggapan bahwa jika anak mereka sudah belajar di sekolah maka di rumah anak tidak perlu untuk belajar.     Alternatif Praktikum Penentuan Percepatan Gravitasi Menggunakan Aplikasi Phyphox di Masa Pasca Pandemi

    Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk merancang praktikum yang dapat mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi mekanika, terutama sub bab percepatan gravitasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan aplikasi Phyphox sebagai alat pengambilan dan analisis data hasil eksperimen. Pada eksperimen ini, smartphone yang diinstal dengan aplikasi Phyphox digunakan sebagai bandul yang diayunkan untuk mengukur percepatan gravitasi. Data yang diperoleh dari aplikasi Phyphox kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Regresi Linier. Dari hasil eksperimen, diperoleh nilai percepatan gravitasi sebesar 9,624 ± 0,094 m/s2, yang mendekati nilai acuan sebesar 9,8 m/s2. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif praktikum di masa pasca pandemi. Dalam praktikum ini, aplikasi Phyphox dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami konsep mekanika dengan cara yang lebih mudah dan interaktif. Selain itu, metode ini juga memungkinkan praktikum dilakukan secara mandiri oleh peserta didik, sehingga dapat mengurangi kontak fisik dan risiko penularan penyakit. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Phyphox dalam praktikum mekanika pendulum dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dan aman di masa pasca pandemi

    Implementing Multisensory Approach to Overcome Reading Difficulties in 4th Grade Students

    Reading is one of the language skills that students must possess. The purpose of this study is to address difficulties in learning to read through multisensory methods for participants. The study was conducted at SD Inpres Lisabheto (a public elementary school), Sikka Regency. The research method employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects targeted in the study were fourth-grade students. To gather data, the researcher used observation techniques, documentation, and reading practice tests. The results of the study obtained by the researcher through the use of multisensory methods on fourth-grade students who still experienced difficulties in learning to read using visual (sight), auditory (hearing), tactile (touch), and kinesthetic (movement) sensory tools. The use of multisensory methods proved to be an improvement in the reading learning ability of fourth-grade students who still struggle with reading. The study found that implementing the multisensory approach in reading instruction had a positive impact on the reading speed of fourth-grade students at Inpres Lisabheto Elementary School. The guidance provided by the classroom teacher and researcher was effective in improving the students' ability to memorize the alphabet, spelling, combining words, and recognizing symbols in writing. The use of the multisensory approach also increased the students' confidence and motivation to become more active and interactive in their learning.

    This qualitative research study conducted at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Kapoa during the 2020/2021 academic year delves into the intricate web of factors influencing fourth-grade students' motivation to learn, particularly within the context of the pandemic. Through interviews and meticulous data analysis, this research unravels the multifaceted nature of student motivation, shedding light on both internal and external elements that come into play. While physiological factors such as vision and hearing were found to have limited direct influence on motivation, the study highlights the pivotal role of psychological factors. Competence, talents, and family harmony emerged as significant determinants of students' learning motivation. Moreover, external factors proved crucial contributors to this intricate motivational landscape. Parental support, effective teaching methods, peer interactions, and community engagement played vital roles in shaping students' motivation. This research underscores the complexity of student motivation and its dependence on many factors. Understanding these influences is paramount for educators, parents, and policymakers alike. Tailoring teaching approaches, providing robust family support, and creating a nurturing learning environment are key strategies to enhance student motivation and foster academic success. As such, further research and targeted interventions addressing these motivational factors can contribute to the development of more effective, student-centered educational practices

    Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika pada Siswa yang Mengalami Pembelajaran Menggunakan Model Treffinger

    Pemecahan masalah merupakan kemampuan dasar yang harus dikuasai dan dikembangkan oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain Randomized Subject Posttest Only Control Group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Awang Lapai. Sampel diambil dengan Cluster Random Sampling sehingga kelas VIII-A yang berjumlah 21 siswa dan kelas VIII-B yang berjumlah 21 siswa ditetapkan sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang dalam pembelajarannya diterapkan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan kelas VIII-B sebagai kelas kontrol yang pembelajarannya diterapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Post-test yang diberikan terdiri dari soal yang berbentuk uraian dengan materi peluang. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger sama dengan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hal tersebut terjadi karena dalam penelitian ini siswa baru pertama kali menggunakan model pembelajaran Treffinger dan proses pembelajaran hanya dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan yang menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya pengaruh model pembelajaran Treffinger terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika oleh karena itu siswa belum siap untuk menghadapi masalah baru yang dijumpai dilapangan karena penerapan model pembelajaran Treffinger memerlukan waktu yang tidak sebentar dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran

    Efektivitas Ekstrakurikuler dan Dampak pada Prestasi: Kajian di SMP Negeri 1 Maumere, Sikka

    Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler merupakan rangkaian program belajar mengajar yang berlangsung di luar jam pelajaran yang terjadwal. Tujuannya adalah untuk menumbuhkan bakat dan minat siswa, menumbuhkan rasa pengabdian masyarakat, dan meningkatkan suasana berpikir siswa. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui efektivitas ekstrakulikuler di SMP Negeri 1 Maumere ditinjau dari jumlah peminat, prestasi serta kontribusi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur dan deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun narasumber yang menjadi sumber informasi penelitian diantranya guru-guru yang mengampuh mata pelajaran dan staf sekolah. Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama enam hari dimulai pada 21-26 November 2022. Dari semua kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tersebut sudah banyak prestasi dan penghargaan pada tingkat sekolah setempat, kabupaten maupun nasional yang diterima oleh siswa/i. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara, terdapat delapan ekstrakurikuler yang aktif dengan masing-masing pembina. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dimaksud diantaranya ialah Pramuka, Penelitian Karya Ilmiah (KIR), Drumband, Patroli Keamanan Sekolah (PKS), Olahraga (sepak bola dan futsal), OSIS, dan Tarian. Guru merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung dalam mengembangkan bakat peserta didik, maka dari itu seorang guru harus memiliki semangat yang tinggi dan memilki profesionalitas sesuai dengan porsinya

    The Implementation of Education In Autonomous Muhammadiyah Schools. The implementa-tion of education in autonomous muhammadiyah schools. This study aim to describe the inde-pendence of implementation education in Muhammadiyah schools. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of the study consisted of elementary school committee members, school principals, teachers, staff, and Muhammadiyah junior high school students in Sleman district. Da-ta collection using interviews and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive techniques. An independent description of implementation education in Muhammadiyah schools that is not found in other schools: applying the Islamic curriculum; integrating Islamic and Muhammadiyah values in teaching and learning activities. Muhammadiyah schools are mostly established from the waqf land belonging to Muhammadiyah and also the result of independent procurement by Muhammadiyah. The existence of company-owned business entity, such as: mart, cattering, coat (school shuttle service), and other, whose management is based on information and technology to increase school income. Teachers and staff meet qualifications and competencies; quantity, and linearity. Facilities are also complete to support learning

    Exploring the Usage of ChatGPT in Higher Education: Frequency and Impact on Productivity

    This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the views and rationality of lecturers in using ChatGPT in learning by explaining how lecturers use it in learning and their reasons for choosing or not choosing the technology. In this study, lecturers will be interviewed and asked to share their experiences and views on it. The data collected will be analyzed and interpreted to gain a deeper understanding of how the use of ChatGPT affects learning and why lecturers choose or do not choose the technology. In the interview results, ChatGPT helps users in finding information, ideas, translating texts, and providing alternative questions to deepen the understanding of the material. It is important to consider and verify information with more reliable and accurate sources. The use of ChatGPT in learning can be an interesting and effective alternative, but users also need to remain critical and selective in utilizing it. In further research, more interviews and case studies need to be conducted to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the use of ChatGPT in learning. Although ChatGPT has limitations, respondents consider its use to improve productivity and learning efficiency. Therefore, the use of ChatGPT can be considered as an attractive alternative in learning, while maintaining a critical approach in utilizing it and verifying the information provided

    Online Physics Learning with Seesaw App Based on Discovery Learning

    This study aims to analyze the importance of the Learning Management System (LMS) in terms of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. The method used in this study is the use of the Seesaw LMS and discovery learning approach, which was incorporated with constructivist learning theories. The results show that the average for each aspect was 3.11 (usefulness), 3.10 (ease of use), 3.30 (ease of learning), and 3.11 (satisfaction), with a maximum scale of 4. The overall average for all categories was 3.16, indicating that the application is suitable for online learning. The study found that using the features of Seesaw in conjunction with discovery learning can improve the quality of education and increase students' learning outcomes. Implementing Seesaw in the learning process using discovery learning is an appropriate method for online learning. Using Seesaw features and collaborating with other supporting applications like PhET can make the learning process more engaging and not monotonous

In essence, socio-economics bridges the gap between economics and sociology, acknowledging that economic outcomes are often intertwined with social factors and that both play a crucial role in shaping the dynamics of societies and the livelihood of their members. Socio-economic impacts on education underscore the need for proactive efforts to ensure that all students have equal access to education quality and opportunities regardless of their background. Addressing these disparities is essential for fostering a more inclusive and equitable educational system and promoting social and economic progress. Some parents choose their children not to go to school because of their income status; they decide to get employed instead of continuing their studies to sustain the necessities of their family. The significance of this article is to identify the main problems of society, which are poverty and unemployment due to lack of access to education quality. It has been found that socioeconomic factors have a significant impact and influence on our education. Hence, as people attain a higher level of education, the more they can get quality employment status in the future
