    MLR dataset of KU Leuven cuneiform tablet NP 47 Dataset including the processed results of one Multi-Light Reflectance (MLR) recording + derivates, produced with the KU Leuven Portable Light Dome system >>>CONTENT<<< One inscribed cuneiform tablet, a script from Southwest Asia used in the time period ca. 3500 BCE - 75 AD, a Neo-Sumerian (2112-2004 BCE) delivery-document of barley. Its collection numbers is NP 47, standing for Naster Paul (former professor in Assyriology at KU Leuven and compiler of this collection).     This deliverable presents the standard operating procedures (SOP) for the collection, processing and shipment of biological samples in the EXIMIOUS human cohort studies. It is first described how the sampling relates to the project’s objectives and work plan. Biological samples are collected and processed in relation to WP3, WP4 and WP5. Thereafter, the process of collection, processing and shipment is described in detail with step-by-step instructions. Partners handling the biological samples will follow the instructions presented in this deliverable

    This dataset presents crowdsourced data from the Leuven.cool network, a citizen science network of around 100 low-cost weather stations (Fine Offset WH2600) distributed across Leuven, Belgium. The data was quality controlled and corrected by a newly developed station specific temperature quality control (QC) and correction procedure. The procedure consists of three levels removing implausible measurements, while also correcting for inter (in between stations) and intra (station-specific) station temperature biases by means of a random-forest approach

    This dataset comprises of all the simulated time-series used in the paper: Exponential Smoothing Forecasts: Taming the Bullwhip Effect when Demand is Seasonal. The data is as follows. 14 different csv files are presented. Each file contains 20 time-series, of 6000 periods each, that are generated using the same parameters. As described in the paper, the structure of the time-series in each of the files varies in the following parameters: * The underlying distribution (a normally distributed i.i.d process, or an ARIMA (0,1,1) process). * The seasonality of the time-series (no seasonality, seasonality of periodicity 49, 50, or 51). * For the normally distributed, seasonal demands, the strength of the seasonality (weak, medium, strong seasonality)

    Normothermic perfusion of pig kidney

    First, the pig is sedated. After intubation and general anaesthesia, a midline laparotomy is performed and the kidney is freed from the surrounding tissue. Then the renal artery and vein are ligated and the kidney is removed. On the back-table, the kidney is placed on melting ice and the renal artery is canulated with an armoured vascular cannula. The ureter is also cannulated with a small tube. Then the kidney is flushed with a cold preservation solution via the renal artery at a hydrostatic pressure of 100 cm H2O to rinse out any blood. In the meantime the normothermic perfusion circuit has been primed with the perfusion solution (Table S1) and heated to 38°C. The kidney is mounted on the circuit by connecting the arterial cannula with the inflow cannula of the circuit. The tube in the ureter is connected to a collection bag allowing urinary drainage. Then the arterial inflow cannula is opened and the kidney is perfused. This is noticeable by pinking up of the kidney once reperfusion is established

    This folder contains the fastq-files that are generated during the Grand Challenge project using 10X Genomics Visium on head&neck squamous cell carcinoma samples. It contains 4 fastq-files (R1 and R2 for each of the two sequencing lanes) per patient (for each patient, 2 samples (biopsy and resection) were collected, and the two samples of 1 patient (HNI40020) was analyzed twice)
