In spite of the fact that in western culture yoga is, for the most part, viewed as a type of activity, numerous types of yoga are simply mental or profound practices. Raja Yoga includes both body and psyche, however, the accentuation is on mental and profound advancement. Its motivation, as per its forebear, the Indian sage Patanjali, is to join the professional with the higher self. Among their own positions, experts of Raja Yoga view themselves as "saints of mind preparing." In Sanskrit, the word raja signifies "ruler," or one who has accomplished selfauthority, while the word yoga itself signifies "association" or "association." Having started as ahead of schedule as 300 B.C., it was polished by real lords, most remarkably the eleventh century King Bhoja, who composed a broad and persuasive discourse on it. The human body utilizes the sustenance we eat to give adequate vitality so as to play out a wide range of work. Essentially, vitality implies the ability to do work. Work is one of the types of vitality, regularly called mechanical vitality. Vitality exists in an assortment of different structures in nature, for example, the light vitality of the sun, atomic vitality in uranium, electrical vitality in lightning storms, warm vitality in flames, and substance vitality in oil

Background: Dermatoglyphics is a science which can help to predict occurrence of a specific disease. Dermatoglyphics may be useful to find out suspected infertile male patients from a large population which can further be subjected to more investigations. Different diseases have different dermatoglyphic patterns associated with them. Some diseases showing association with Dermatoglyphics include Sickle cell anaemia, congenital heart disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes mellitus, Down’s syndrome and Cancers such as Breast and Prostate. Objective: The purpose of this study is to compare the frequencies of different fingerprint patterns of infertile males with normal populations. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted on 108 infertile male patients with abnormal semen profile and compared with an equal number of age matched fertile males. We studied fingerprint patterns in all subjects. Result: Loop was the commonest pattern followed by Whorls and Arch in both groups. There is a significant difference between the numbers of arches in infertile cases and controls. We also found the statistically significant difference between patterns of finger ridge count in thumb and ring finger (left hand) of infertile males and controls. The mean of atd angle, dat angle and adt angle on the left hand of infertile males were statistically significant from those of the controls. Whereas the mean of all these angles is not being statistically significant in right hand of both cases as well as controls. Conclusion: Dermatoglyphics may be used for infertility screening of a large population because it is simple, non-invasive and inexpensive technique. It may be also used as a supportive investigatory tool for clinicians

Background and Aims: Gastro-Intestinal Fistulae (GIF) on most occasions are iatrogenic and come with significant morbidity and myriad of presentations from asymptomatic individuals to severe sepsis. About a third of GIF heal but most require repeated surgeries adding to the morbidity. We evaluated the feasibility of cyanoacrylate glue injection in the management of non-healing GIF which had failed conservative management of nutrition, antibiotics, and percutaneous drainage. Methods: Seven patients of non-healing GIF were managed with CAG injection by a sclerotherapy needle via an upper GI endoscopy. The primary endpoint was the closure of the fistula. Feasibility of the procedure was defined as the possibility to reach the opening of the GIF and perform the glue injection. The other parameters noted were the number of injections required the time to achieve complete closure of the fistula and other complications Results: Feasibility of the procedure was 100%. A median of 01 injections (Range 1-2) was performed in the patients with 71.4% requiring only one injection. The success rate was 100%. The average time required for GIF closure was 8.5 + 3.9 days (range 02-13 days). There were no complications noted in the study. All the patients were followed up for 12 weeks and no mortality was recorded. Conclusions: Endoscopic injection of CAG appears to be a safe, feasible, reliable and effective modality which offers a minimally invasive technique as an alternative to surgical reoperation in patients with accessible GIFs that are non-healing after standard managemen

Stress and anxiety have been involved as supporters of numerous constant diseases and to diminished quality of life, even with pharmacologic treatment. Endeavors are in progress to discover non-pharmacologic treatments to alleviate pressure and anxiety, and yoga is one alternative for which results are promising. The focal point of this survey is on the results of human preliminaries evaluating the job of yoga in enhancing the signs and manifestations of stress and anxiety. Of 35 preliminaries tending to the impacts of yoga on anxiety and stress, 25 noticed a huge reduction in stress as well as anxiety manifestations when a yoga routine was executed; notwithstanding, a large number of the examinations were likewise thwarted by limitations, for example, little study populations, absence of randomization, and absence of a control gathering. Fourteen of the 35 thinks about announced biochemical and physiological markers of stress and anxiety, yet yielded conflicting help of yoga for the alleviation of stress and anxiety. Assessment of the present essential writing is suggestive of advantages of yoga in alleviating pressure and anxiety, yet further examination concerning this relationship utilizing huge, all around characterized populations, sufficient controls, randomization, and long length ought to be investigated before prescribing yoga as a treatment choic

Background: Highest rates of morbidity and mortality in chronic kidney disease (CKD) are encountered with its cardiovascular complications and Mineral Bone Disorders (MBD). MBD is now being recognized as a systemic disorder with far-reaching consequences on the quality of life and is no longer merely restricted to the histomorphometric findings in the bone biopsy. Objective: Few studies to date are available on the pattern of mineral bone disorders in Indian CKD population. Our primary aim was to study the varied patterns of CKD mineral bone disorders in our center based on biochemical parameters. Patients & Methods: Cross-sectional study involving 75 newly diagnosed patients with CKD stages G3, G4 & G5D. Patients were categorized into two groups based on their KDIGO CKD staging- Group A – CKD stages G3a, G3b, G4; Group B – CKD stage G5D. The biochemical markers of CKD-MBD, namely, serum calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, intact parathyroid hormone (PTH), and 25-hydroxyvitamin Vitamin D were measured. Results: 24 patients were included in group A and 51 patients in group B. The most common underlying native kidney disease was chronic glomerulonephritis (41.3%), followed by diabetic nephropathy (37.3%) and chronic interstitial nephritis (21.3%). The mean age of our study population was 49.5 ± 22.9 years in group A and 54.1 ± 15.77 years in group B. Conclusions: A higher prevalence of hyperphosphatemia, hypocalcemia and vitamin D deficiency was observed in our CKD cohort. Early identification and treatment of these mineral bone disorders are of paramount importance to prevent complications, retard disease progression and improve quality of life
