BUILDING A PROSPEROUS AND HEALTHY FAMILY THE ROLE OF CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIVING BEHAVIORS IN DISEASE PREVENTION
Get PDFGeneral Background: Family health is a foundational element for building a prosperous society, and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) plays a crucial role in disease prevention and quality of life improvement. Specific Background: PHBS encompasses various aspects, including sanitation, hygiene, and stress management, which are vital for ensuring family well-being. However, the adoption of PHBS remains uneven across communities, presenting barriers to achieving widespread health benefits. Knowledge Gap: While the importance of PHBS is recognized, there is a lack of effective strategies to raise public awareness and encourage long-term implementation, particularly at the family level. Aims: This study aimed to assess the impact of health information literacy workshops on community awareness and adoption of PHBS, focusing on disease prevention and lifestyle changes within families. Results: The workshop successfully increased public knowledge about PHBS, motivating participants to adopt healthier practices in their daily lives. It also raised awareness about the connection between family health and community well-being, with participants reporting greater intention to implement PHBS in their households. Novelty: This study highlights the effectiveness of workshop-based interventions as a tool for improving health literacy and promoting the widespread adoption of PHBS, especially within family units. Implications: The findings suggest that targeted educational programs, combined with community-based initiatives, can significantly contribute to disease prevention and improve public health outcomes, emphasizing the role of families as key actors in fostering healthier societies
PSYCHOEDUCATION ON THE IMPORTANCE OF DIGITAL PARENTING FOR GENERATION Z
Get PDFObjective: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation on digital parenting in enhancing parents' understanding of appropriate parenting strategies for Generation Z in the digital age. Method: The research involved community service activities, providing psychoeducation sessions to 30 guardians or parents of students. A paired sample t-test was conducted to measure changes in understanding, comparing pre-test and post-test scores. Results: The findings reveal a significant improvement in parents' understanding of digital parenting, with the average score increasing from 35.767 (pre-test) to 39.233 (post-test). This demonstrates that psychoeducation positively impacts parents' ability to adopt effective digital parenting practices. Novelty: This study highlights the importance of targeted psychoeducational interventions in addressing the challenges faced by Generation Z’s parents in managing the rapid advancement of digital technology. It provides empirical evidence supporting the role of psychoeducation as a practical tool to improve parental guidance in a digitally-driven environment

Health that needs to be considered, especially in children, is oral and dental health, as well as hand hygiene. The purpose of this service is to provide understanding to local children about the importance of maintaining health and hygiene. Community service is carried out through educational activities through poster media and practice accompanied by singing. The method carried out in this service is in the form of filling out questionnaires. The results of this service provide an overview of the increase in enthusiasm and increase children's understanding of how to wash hands and brush teeth properly and correctly, so as to obtain data carried out with normality and homogeneity tests, then proceed with paired sample t tests using SPPS. Then the results of data analysis were obtained in the form of significance values stating that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that there was an influence in providing treatment before (pre test) and after (post test) education and practice of washing hands

Method: In October 2024, a training program was conducted for 20 healthcare workers, focusing on medical record data analysis, interpretation, and presentation. Participants were trained on how to utilize medical data to support clinical decisions. Results: The training program led to a significant improvement in the participants' knowledge and abilities in medical record data analysis. The results were statistically significant with p-values: p < .001, p < .001, p = 0.003, p < .001, and p = 0.002. Novelty: This activity represents a novel initiative in empowering healthcare workers by enhancing their competencies in using medical record data for clinical decision-making, promoting efficiency and accuracy in patient care

This study aims to increase community understanding of stunting through socialisation and distribution of UHT milk in Tamiajeng Village. The activities were carried out by KKN-P Group 36 Year 2024 by involving Posyandu Cadres, Village Midwives, and other Health Officers. The methods used include observation, making work programs, and permission from related parties, with activities that include face-to-face socialisation of stunting, as well as assistance in Posyandu activities. The results of the activity show that parents who have toddlers understand the impact of stunting on children. So this activity is expected to provide effective education to parents, help reduce the risk of stunting, and build a healthier generation in Tamiajeng Village
