    PENDAMPINGAN PEMBUATAN PRODUK SAINS EDUKATIF BAGI MAHASISWA TERINTEGRASI PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATA KULIAH STM

    This community service activity aims to assist students in developing and making simple educational science products based on an analysis of needs and the availability of resources in the surrounding environment. This PkM activity is carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. Several methods are used to carry out activities, including observation, discussion, FGD, experimental, and presentation methods. This PkM activity was carried out in the Smart Room at Catholic University. This activity is carried out once a week, every Saturday from February 17 to March 16, 2024. 2 students assist. Participants in this activity were 20 (20) students from the physics education study program. The implementation of the mentoring activities went smoothly; activity participants gave positive responses regarding the implementation of the mentoring activities that had been carried out. This PkM activity can increase activity participants' knowledge, insight, and skills in developing simple educational science products that utilize various natural resources in the surrounding environment

    PSIKOEDUKASI PENINGKATAN SELF COMPASSION DALAM PEIRLAKU BERPACARAN PADA REMAJA

    Psychoeducation is an educational method given to a group of teenagers with the aim of providing knowledge about the importance of self-compassion to reduce dating behavior in teenagers, especially junior high school students. Self-compassion appears to be a more positive variable in efforts to develop teenagers' self-concept. Through self-compassion, teenagers understand that they need to be kind to themselves (self-kindness) and think that the situation they are currently experiencing can also be experienced by other people (common humanity) and get full recognition when carrying out an action (mindfulness). The research used a quantitative approach with a sample of 108 students. Quantitative data was obtained by giving a pre-test and post-test, then data processing was carried out using the T Test. The results showed that there were significant changes between the dating behavior of students before and after being given self-compassion understanding psychoeducation where self-compassion psychoeducation had an effect on reducing dating behavior in student

    Kantin sekolah SMP YBPK Kota Kediri merupakan salah satu kantin sekolah yang kurang dikelolah dengan baik, keterbatasan modal dan kekurangan sumber daya pengelola kantin yang komptenen menjadikan kantin dioperasionalkan tidak selayaknya kantin sekolah pada umumnya. Jajanan dan minuman yang dijual berasal dari usaha sampingan guru dan jajanan disajikan diatas meja sekolah, kemudian setelah kegiatan belajar mengajar berakhir maka meja kantin tersebut dibereskan. berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dibutuhkan kantin yang dapat dikelolah secara professional. Kantin merdeka merupakan istilah lain dari kantin kejujuran adalah solusi yang ditawarkan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan modal dan kekurangan sumber daya pengelolah kantin yang ada sekolah tersebut.     FRIENDLY CHILD ENGLISH LEARNING MATERIAL TRAINING FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

    Objective: This study aims to address the challenges faced by English teachers at SDN Kedung Kendo, Candi-Sidoarjo, especially in relation to their qualifications and teaching practices. Specifically, the objective is to improve the quality of English education by developing self-teaching materials that are suitable for elementary school students, incorporating elements of Child-Friendly School (CFS) principles. Method: The research employs activity-based training for English teachers in the Primary School group, with a focus on creating engaging and suitable self-teaching materials. Teachers are guided on how to design and print these materials as textbooks. These activities are intended to enhance the teachers' ability to deliver content that caters to students' interests and learning characteristics, while also addressing the lack of media such as songs and videos.  Results:  The results indicate that the teachers were able to create effective teaching materials that were both engaging and aligned with the needs of their students. These materials, which combine the principles of the CFS program, have been successfully integrated into the teaching process. As a result, English lessons became more interactive and diverse, incorporating vocabulary and speaking exercises that were previously difficult to teach. Novelty: This study introduces a novel approach to overcoming the limitations of teacher qualifications and resources in rural schools. By empowering teachers to develop their own teaching materials and print them as textbooks, this approach enhances the overall learning experience, making it more aligned with the educational needs of students and the goals of the CFS program

    Objective: This study aims to emphasize the crucial role of halal certification programs in advancing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to the next level. MSME development is an indicator of increased productivity, ensuring sustainable marketing. Halal certification serves as an effective communication tool for consumers to identify halal products, aligning with the mandates of Indonesian Law Number 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Assurance. Method: The community service initiative was conducted in the Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, targeting MSMEs in collaboration with Muhammadiyah Candi branch members. The program included two main stages: socialization and assistance. Socialization sessions were held at Kedung Peluk Village’s BUMDes and covered the Islamic perspective on halal, relevant regulations, the halal certification application process via the information system http://ptsp.halal.go.id, Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) documentation, and practices to maintain product halal status.  Results:  As a result of the initiative, MSME participants gained comprehensive knowledge about the halal certification application process, familiarity with the information system used for application, and the ability to prepare and manage SJPH documentation to ensure their products' halal status. Novelty: This program uniquely combines practical assistance and educational outreach tailored for MSMEs in a specific local context. By addressing gaps in awareness and procedural knowledge about halal certification, the initiative not only bridges informational divides but also empowers MSMEs to align with national halal product assurance regulations effectively

    Stimulation of early childhood development varies widely, from expensive methods to utilizing recycled materials. The stimulation of early childhood development at TK Bustanul Athfal Ketegan Sidoarjo is still relatively limited. The goal of this activity is to enhance the cognitive and motor skills of young children and improve the educators' skills at TK Bustanul Athfal Ketegan Sidoarjo by creating stimulation play media using recycled materials as a tool for early childhood learning. The method for this activity includes presentations and training for educators on how to create cognitive and motor development stimulation media for children using recycled materials, as well as engaging in role-playing activities to utilize these stimulation media. The benefits of this activity include expanding the variety of learning media and enhancing the knowledge and skills of educators at TK Bustanul Athfal Ketegan Sidoarjo in creating learning stimulation media for their students using recycled materials. While a small portion of the teachers has not fully understood APE (Early Childhood Stimulation), 90% have comprehended the effective methods of creating and applying APE block number and APE Flashcar

    This study aims to analyze the productivity of zakat institutions in Indonesia before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The potential of zakat in Indonesia is quite large, but in terms of channeling it is still not optimal. The lack of standardization in the management of zakat has resulted in inappropriate collection and distribution of zakat. Whether or not the zakat institution is optimal in carrying out its operational activities can be seen from the productivity of the zakat institution. One of the methods that can be used to analyze performance efficiency is by using the non-parametric Malmquist Productivity Index (MPI) method. The Zakat Institution which is the object of the research shows fluctuations in productivity in each research period. The period during the pandemic has more value than before the pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, LazisMu showed excellent development in terms of productivity

    Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia menyatakan bahwa stunting adalah suatu permasalahan gizi yang bisa membuat balita pendek atau tinggi badannya tidak sesuai dengan usia pada umumnya. Maka dari itu, ada upaya yang dilakukan oleh perwakilan KKN-P 46 yaitu kunjungan balita stunting untuk memberikan pendampingan langsung dan melakukan sosialisasi mengenai stunting untuk pencegahan dan penanganan apabila terjadi stunting. Pelaksaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara luring dan terjun langsung ke lokasi yang terdampak stunting. Perwakilan KKN-P 46 melakukan kunjungan langsung dan mendampingi Ibu Bidan melakukan pemeriksaan pada balita yang terindikasi stunting pada tanggal 7 Februari 2024. Pada tanggal 20 Februari 2024, perwakilan KKN-P 46 melakukan sosialisasi pada ibu hamil guna mencegah terjadinya stunting pada bayi yang akan lahir. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengetahuan ibu bayi dalam merawat bayi di dalam kandungannya maupun bayinya yang telah lahir

    INCREASING STUDENTS' DISASTER LITERACY THROUGH THE DISASTER MITIGATION CARD GAME (CAMIBEE)

    General background: Disaster literacy is crucial in equipping students with knowledge and preparedness for disaster risk reduction. Specific background: Previous educational approaches to disaster mitigation often lack engaging and interactive methods, which may reduce students' motivation to learn about disaster preparedness. Knowledge gap: Despite the significance of disaster education, there is a need for innovative approaches that effectively convey disaster mitigation concepts in a way that captivates students' interest. Aims: This community service program aims to enhance disaster literacy through the implementation of a disaster mitigation card game, "Camibee," an adaptation of the Monopoly game, which encourages active learning and critical thinking among high school students. Results: The program demonstrated that the game-based learning method, particularly using the Camibee card game, significantly increased student engagement and understanding of disaster mitigation concepts. Students were enthusiastic, which translated into improved motivation to learn about disaster risk reduction. Novelty: This study presents a novel approach by integrating a competitive, enjoyable board game with educational content on disaster mitigation, providing an alternative to traditional disaster literacy education. Implications: The program contributes to the development of effective disaster education strategies that not only enhance students' disaster preparedness but also foster active participation and awareness. The findings suggest that this game-based approach could be widely applied in disaster education to improve literacy and preparedness in schools, empowering students to become agents of change in disaster risk management
