Get PDFA change in the paradigm of society regarding waste needs to be carried out in a sustainable manner. Education of residents' awareness and skills for waste management with the application of the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle and replant (4R) is important in solving waste problems through waste management from the source. Waste banks are one of the effective strategies to overcome waste management problems in rural areas. Waste bank activities are the concept of collecting dry waste and sorting and have management like banking but what is saved is not money but waste. In operating a waste bank, active community participation is essential. Empowering citizens through counseling, education, training activities with emancipatory participation methods (interaction and communication), as well as dialogue with residents in the community. Residents Waste bank managers with related stakeholders. The Waste Bank in Songowareng village has provided benefits to residents, especially direct benefits by reducing waste generation in the community, a cleaner and more beautiful environment, and economic independence of residents
THE ROLE OF PHYSICAL CONDITION AS THE BASIS FOR IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF AMPUTEE FOOTBALL ATHLETES AT PERSAS SURABAYA CLUB
Get PDFObjective: This study aimed to enhance the athletic performance of amputee soccer players from PERSAS Surabaya through structured physical tests and awareness of a healthy lifestyle. The focus was on measurable training programs, nutrition, and rest to improve performance and immunity. Method: The program was conducted by the Physical Education team from Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya. The activities included planning, coordination with the PERSAS club management, designing physical tests, conducting simulations, socialization, and implementing the tests. A total of 15 athletes and 2 coaches participated. Results: The physical test results provided a foundation for developing tailored training programs. Emphasis on well-planned training schedules, proper nutrition, and adequate rest was identified as crucial for performance improvement. Novelty: This program uniquely addressed the specific needs of amputee soccer players by integrating comprehensive physical testing and emphasizing a holistic approach to health and fitness, which is rarely explored in similar contexts

Get PDFOne of the activities that is a superior program in the Enlightenment Real Work Lecture (KKN-P) is optimizing the tourism potential of Rabbit Park in Dawuhansengon Village, Pasuruan Regency. The main problems faced are the lack of care for rabbit parks and lack of accessibility, so many people do not know about their existence. This research was conducted using the community service method through the Enlightenment Real Work Lecture (KKN-P) program conducted by students at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The methods used include group debriefing, field surveys, preparation of work programs, and implementation of work programs. Actions taken include cleaning the park, making fences, signposts, road signs and repainting. The results of this program show that the improvements made by KKN-P students have had a positive impact on the condition of Rabbit Park and increased public interest in visiting the place. The village and local government need to provide support in optimizing the tourism sector in Dawuhansengon Village by improving access and marketing of Rabbit Park as well as organizing various tourism events that can attract tourist interest.

Media sosial dan platform e-commerce menjadi alat yang berguna untuk menjangkau pelanggan lebih luas dan meningkatkan penjualan karena kemajuan teknologi digital dan peningkatan penggunaan internet. Metode kualitatif, studi kasus, digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penulis melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan manajer S3Shop dan melakukan analisis data sekunder dari platform e-commerce dan media sosial yang digunakan perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan platform media sosial seperti Instagram dan Facebook, serta platform e-commerce seperti Tokopedia dan Shopee, dapat membantu meningkatkan kesadaran merek, keterlibatan pelanggan, dan penjualan produk. Aims: This community service program aimed to improve participants' understanding and skills in vertical culture cultivation to support food independence on narrow land. Results: Through a structured process of socialization, training, and mentoring, participants gained the ability to design and implement vertical culture systems, leading to improved agricultural productivity in terms of both quantity and quality of harvests. The program's evaluation showed a significant increase in participant knowledge and the successful adoption of vertical farming techniques.
