Get PDFΗ ενότητα Νέες ∆ηµοσιεύσεις στην Ελλάδα στοχεύει στην ενηµέρωση του αναγνωστικού κοινού για την τρέχουσα ελληνική βιβλιογραφία σχετικά µε τα πεδία της µουσικοθεραπείας και της ειδικής µουσικής παιδαγωγικής. Η ενότητα αυτή περιλαµβάνει δηµοσιεύσεις βιβλίων, πρακτικών από συνέδρια, κεφαλαίων και άρθρων που έχουν δηµοσιευτεί στην Ελλάδα κατά το τρέχον και το προηγούµενο χρονολογικό έτος. Περιλαµβάνονται κείµενα γραµµένα στην ελληνική γλώσσα, καθώς επίσης και αγγλικά κείµενα τα οποία έχουν δηµοσιευτεί σε ελληνικές πηγές (όπως ελληνικά βιβλία, πρακτικά και περιοδικά). Η ενότητα αυτή δηµοσιεύεται στον πρώτο αριθµό κάθε τεύχους του περιοδικού. Συγγραφείς, ερευνητές και άλλοι ενδιαφερόµενοι είναι ευπρόσδεκτοι να στείλουν στον Επιµελητή Σύνταξης ([email protected]) σχετικές παραποµπές δηµοσιεύσεων ώστε να συµπεριληφθούν στο επόµενο εαρινό τεύχος του περιοδικού.The section New Publications in Greece aims to raise the readership’s awareness of the current Greek literature regarding the fields of music therapy and special music education. This section includes publications of books, conference proceedings, chapters and articles that have been published in Greece during the current and previous calendar year. It includes texts written in Greek language, as well as English texts which have been published in Greek sources (e.g., Greek books, proceedings and journals). This section is published in the first issue of each volume of the journal. Authors, researchers and any interested parties are welcome to send relevant references to publications to the Editorin-Chief ([email protected]) so that they can be included in the next journal’s Spring issue.  
Cross-Cultural Collaboration as Community Growth and Integration: Children’s Music Projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Scotland
Get PDFΑυτό το άρθρο αποτελεί µια καταγραφή των ενταξιακών προσεγγίσεων σε δύο µουσικά προγράµµατα για παιδιά, τα οποία είχαν ως στόχο την καλλιέργεια της οµαδικής δηµιουργικότητας καθώς και της διαπολιτισµικής αντίληψης και κατανόησης. Στο πρώτο πρόγραµµα, παιδιά και νέοι από ένα ειδικό σχολείο του Mostar της Βοσνίας-Ερζεγοβίνης έγραψαν τραγούδια, τα οποία µοιράστηκαν µε παιδιά από ένα δηµοτικό σχολείο στο Εδιµβούργο της Σκωτίας. Το δεύτερο πρόγραµµα, που έγινε στο Σαράγεβο της ΒοσνίαςΕρζεγοβίνης, εστίασε στη συλλογική σύνθεση και στην εκτέλεση τραγουδιών. Αυτό το πρόγραµµα συµπεριέλαβε τρεις οµάδες παιδιών από µειονοτικά σχολεία, καθώς και µια χορωδία από ένα σχολείο για παιδιά µε προβλήµατα όρασης. Σε ανατροφοδοτικό επίπεδο, συζητάµε το ρόλο της διαπολιτισµικής µουσικής συνεργασίας ως ένα αποτελεσµατικό µέσο για να φέρει κανείς κοντά παιδιά από διαφορετικά κοινωνικά και πολιτισµικά πλαίσια, µε σκοπό τη δηµιουργία νέων κοινών εµπειριών και την ενίσχυση του σεβασµού για τη διαφορετικότητα. Ευελπιστούµε ότι προγράµµατα όπως αυτά θα αποτελέσουν το πρώτο βήµα προς την εκπλήρωση ενός απώτερου σκοπού για την ενθάρρυνση της αποδοχής και την καλλιέργεια της φιλίας µεταξύ παιδιών που ίσως δεν έχουν άλλους τρόπους να έρθουν σε επαφή µεταξύ τους.This paper constitutes a reflective account of inclusive approaches in two children’s music projects, both aiming to foster group creativity alongside cross-cultural awareness and understanding. The first of these projects involved sharing songs composed by children and young people from a special needs school in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, with a primary school choir in Edinburgh, Scotland. The second project, in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, focused on group song-writing and performance involving three groups of children from ethnically separated schools, alongside a choir from a school for children with visual impairments. On reflection, we discuss cross-cultural musical collaboration as an effective means of bringing children together across social and cultural divides in order to share new experiences while building respect for differences. We hope projects such as these may represent the first step towards the ultimate goal of encouraging and nurturing more inclusive friendships between children who might not otherwise have opportunities to interact with each other
