    Get PDF
Alphonse de Lamartine is one of the greatest romantic poets. From the 1820s and in Rousseau’s wake, his works allows a meaningful spot to this loneliness which is paradoxically designed as an opening to the world and to contemplation. However, ten years later, the author is destined to play a major-scale role in the Parliament. This will urge him to offer his pen to the service of the people and the oppressed. Despite strokes of bad luck and painful disappointments, Lamartine will not cease to commit for his brothers in a speech or a newspaper article. Nevertheless, the last days of this writer are getting darker, at the moment when death and debts are overwhelming him from everywhere to plunge him into a bitter isolation, from which it seems impossible to get through. Thus, this article will deal with the successive conditions of a soul caught between the call of the outside and the temptation of an exile. The latter being, whatever happens, an essential pattern of Lamartine’s writing.Alphonse de Lamartine is one of the greatest romantic poets.

Exploring solitude in Charles Juliet’s work means apprehending an entire poetic and spiritual journey. His poems, less studied than his Journal, form the corpus of our study. As a condensed form of writing and thinking, they express the aesthetics of simplicity and the demanding nature of truth he treasures. To explore this solitude, we must look beyond the mythical figure of the “solitary walker” and grasp the genesis of the poet in order to understand the gradual transmutation of solitude throughout his journey. Solitude is, first of all, original exile and the ordeal of one who must learn how to speak, as well as the condition for self-encounter and creation. Dialectical in nature, it requires presence. The poet’s work draws on readings, diverse voices, and a fraternal need for sharing. Juliet thus appears as a spokesperson, lending his words to those who cannot yet find their own, speaking from one solitude to another, and inviting consent—so that each may discover their own voice.Exploring solitude in Charles Juliet’s work means apprehending an entire poetic and spiritual journey.

The article proposes to discuss the representations of Pemberley as an expression of the country house ideal in Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen’s novel and its 1995 adaptation, and in Death Comes to Pemberley, P. D. James’s book and the television series, in the context of manorial nostalgia. I want to argue that by changing the genre and reinterpreting the principal conflicts and characters, the sequel redefines significantly the nostalgic impulse associated with Austen’s novel. A comparative analysis of the changing patterns of manorial idealizations across the four narratives will demonstrate how the nostalgic chronotope is constructed and deconstructed and how the semiotic modelling of space changes in response to the intermedial translation between fiction and film. The paper will locate the analysis in a broader context of the country house literary tradition and manorial representations in heritage films.

    Racism in Norwegian Kindergartens?

Kindergartens, like all social institutions, function as arenas in which hegemonic constructions of “Norwegianness” are articulated and maintained. These constructions contribute to the reproduction of exclusionary national identities and racialized discourses. Although kindergartens often make efforts to incorporate and value diversity within their pedagogical frameworks, my research, based on interviews with 40 kindergarten teachers, reveals that both children and staff are exposed to various manifestations of racism. At kindergarten level, children may experience forms of othering by peers and adults when they do not embody the dominantnorms associated with skin color, cultural background, or religious affiliation. Often they are not even acknowledged to be genuinely Norwegian, raising critical questions about the implicit criteria for national belonging. The data suggest that kindergartens are not insulated from broader societal patterns of racialization, and that racism may be expressed and experienced across multiple relational contexts, including among children, staff, and parents. This chapter seeks to illuminate the diverse forms of racism identified by the participants and to critically engage with their reflections on the complexities of recognizing and addressing racism within early childhood education.Kindergartens, like all social institutions, function as arenas in which hegemonic constructions of “Norwegianness” are articulated and maintained. The presented findings are from a study conducted between 2022 and 2023, which aims to reconstruct early childhood education teachers’ perspectives on their professional experiences (challenges, difficulties, limitations). The study used an expert interview technique, and a qualitative content analysis was applied to their examination. In the interviews, the interviewees repeatedly highlighted the issue of cooperation with the parents of the pupils; therefore, we raised the question: what is the importance of collaboration with the parents of the pupils among constructivist‑oriented early childhood education teachers? All the threads that dealt with pupils’ parents and cooperation with them were extracted in the initial analysis of the interviews. These fragments were then categorized and thematically organized. To present the research findings, we used a chronological order that referred to the significant stages in the early childhood education process, thus: its beginning, development and end. Our study has expanded the existing knowledge on applying the constructivist approach in early childhood education, particularly issues related to the relationship and cooperation between the teacher and the student’s parent. In addition to the areas of a well‑functioning collaborative process, we found elements that need to be rethought and modified. In particular, these relate to the application limits of the constructivist approach in the teacher‑parent relationship. The knowledge presented is a reconstruction of the bottom‑up perspective of constructivist‑oriented teachers. The presented findings are from a study conducted between 2022 and 2023, which aims to reconstruct early childhood education teachers’ perspectives on their professional experiences (challenges, difficulties, limitations). Semiconductor technologies, fundamental components that power all electronic devices, play a crucial role in key sectors such as mobility, healthcare, communication, and consumer electronics. As an integral part of everyday life, latest semiconductor technologies have become a cornerstone of 21st century, continuing to evolve rapidly. With less than 10% of global share in semiconductor production, European Union faces significant challenges in strengthening its microelectronics industry. Geopolitical tensions and supply chain disruptions have highlighted EU’s reliance on external suppliers and customers. To address these challenges, the EU has launched initiatives such as the European Chips Act, aiming to double its share in the global semiconductor technologies market. Despite geographic imbalance, the need for greater investment, and a shortage of skilled labor, EU has the potential to expand its semiconductor sector and boost its competitiveness on the global stage. However, achieving this will require a comprehensive strategy, supportive legal frameworks, and incentives to foster collaboration between private companies, the public sector, and trusted international partners.Technologie półprzewodnikowe, niezbędne do prawidłowego funkcjonowania wszystkich urządzeń elektronicznych, odgrywają fundamentalną rolę w wielu sektorach gospodarki, w tym szczególnie w mobilności, opiece zdrowotnej, komunikacji i elektronice użytkowej.

Bushidō – kodeks etyki samurajskiej i fiozofia sztuk walki

In this article, I attempt to characterize the so-called “Samurai Code” called Bushido This Japanese word can be translated as chivalry, and in its original use means “ways of knights,” guidelines that fighting samurai should follow in their daily lives and in the calling to which they were destined. It can be said that Bushido is, therefore, a code of moral principles, which samurai were obliged to follow. The code was most often unwritten and unspoken, and, therefore, all the more powerful, a code that had the power of true law and action, one engraved deeply in its adherents’ hearts. It should be pointed out that Bushido is not based on the creative power of one mind, but is the result of the profound wealth and value of the growth of knightly knowledge, developed over time. In the feudal era, Bushido began to be conscious. However, feudalism itself consisted of many threads. Bushido is, thus, woven from a multitude of events in a cause-and-effect relationship, which are focused not only around one charismatic figure, but are linked by their mutual relations over the centuries in many generations of samurai. In this article, I attempt to characterize the so-called “Samurai Code” called Bushido This Japanese word can be translated as chivalry, and in its original use means “ways of knights,” guidelines that fighting samurai should follow in their daily lives and in the calling to which they were destined. The New Technomagical Realism and Communicracies

This article explores the emergence of a new paradigm: technomagical realism. At the intersection of media, digital mythologies, and affective rituals, it analyzes how technomagic reshapes culture, aesthetics, and politics. The modern social contract collapses in favor of emotional communicracies based on shared symbolic intensities. Public opinion gives way to public emotion, where images, sensations, and immediacy become the new foundations of reality

Archetypal Scenarios of the Russian-Ukrainian War

    Get PDF
The aim of the article is to identify and analyze the key archetypal scenarios of war that are playing out in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian confrontation in various narratives and forms of representation. Based on an archetypal approach, a typology of war scenarios as a historical and socio-political phenomenon has been developed. Four scenarios are identified: colonial, Westphalian, ideological/civilizational, and religious (apostate). Based on a comparative analysis, it is concluded that the Russian-Ukrainian war is a complex interweaving of all these archetypal scenarios of war, with dominant features of colonial, ideological/civilizational and religious (apostate) narratives. It is shown that the Westphalian-type war scenario proved to be irrelevant for explaining the goals of Russia’s full-scale invasion, as it does not recognize Ukraine’s sovereignty and ignores legal and ethical-cultural norms of warfare. It is argued that the «war against heretics» narrative reveals Russia’s true attitude towards Ukraine as an «apostate» from a «common» historical and civilizational heritage, requiring either its «conversion» or «destruction.» The eschatological pseudo-religious rhetoric of the Russian official and propaganda discourse allows for legitimizing and justifying the «denazification» of Ukrainianness through any forms of violence, up to total destruction
