Portret Putina w polskich tytułach książek ukazany – próba językowego obrysu. (Z dodaniem bibliografii wydawnictw książkowych pierwszej ćwierci naszego wieku)
Get PDFThis article aims to linguistically reconstruct the image of Putin based on book titles published in Poland during the first quarter of the present millennium (i.e., between 2000 and 2025). The factual material encompasses both works by Polish authors and translations from other languages. This study continues a research project launched two years ago, which focuses on reconstructing the linguistic and civilizational worldview of Russia (Wojan 2023: Relations between Poland and Russia. The title as an element of the reconstruction of the linguistic and civilizational worldview, bibliography of works from 2011–2023). The results of the analysis reveal a predominantly negative portrait of Putin.
The article consists of two parts. The first one is analytical, and the second one provides a list of collected book titles along with their bibliographic references.Celem artykułu jest językowa rekonstrukcja wizerunku Putina w oparciu o tytuły książek, które ukazały się w Polsce w pierwszej ćwierci obecnego tysiąclecia (tj. w latach 2000–2025). Materiał faktograficzny obejmuje zarówno prace polskich autorów, jak i wydania przekładów z innych języków. Niniejsze studium jest kontynuacją rozpoczętych przed dwoma laty badań ukierunkowanych na rekonstrukcję językowo-cywilizacyjnego obrazu Rosji (Wojan 2023: Polska i Rosja w relacjach: tytuł jako element rekonstrukcji językowo-cywilizacyjnego obrazu świata: bibliografia prac z lat 2011–2023). Wyniki analizy ujawniają zdecydowanie negatywny obraz Putina.
Praca składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza ma charakter analityczny, zaś w drugiej zamieszczono wykaz zebranych tytułów wydawnictw wraz z ich adresami bibliograficznymi

The country stands out internationally for its contributions to the establishment of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), which focuses on education, research, and commemoration of the Holocaust. As the organizerof an international conference on the Holocaust, Sweden played a pivotal role in the issuance of the Stockholm Declaration, which emphasizes the importance of Holocaust education in preventing future genocides. Holocaust education is a mandatory component of the history curriculum in Swedish primary schools. This article presents the current research on Holocaust education in Sweden, outlining the educational objectives set for Holocaust teaching, the methods employed by Swedish educators, and the outcomes of such instruction. The empirical section of the article analyses projects by two Swedish educators actively engaged in Holocaust education in Sweden

No full textSince his literary debut, the Haitian-Quebecois Immortal Dany Laferrière has universalized the experience of exile through the hybridization of genres and the use of transcultural, extraterritorial references that extend his reflection beyond Haiti and Quebec to embrace the whole world. This article examines the impact of intermediality in his graphic novels Vers d’autres rives (2019) and L’Exil vaut le voyage (2020), focusing on the interplay between text and image and highlighting the intertextuality with other works by Laferrière. Drawing on an analysis of visual and textual narration, the article highlights how the writer transcends the boundaries between text and image. Get PDFThis paper seeks to examine the hypertextual relationship between Evelyn Waugh’s fiction and T.S. Eliot’s The Waste Land (1922). Drawing on Gérard Genette’s theory of hypertextuality, it argues that Waugh’s novels – Decline and Fall (1928), Vile Bodies (1930), A Handful of Dust (1934), and Brideshead Revisited (1945) – not only allude to Eliot’s poem but also mirror its fragmented structure and thematic concerns: spiritual desolation, cultural collapse, and the existential yearning for meaning. Each novel is read alongside a specific section of The Waste Land, allowing for an interpretation of Waugh’s oeuvre as a sustained, intertextual response to modernist anxiety. The paper suggests that Waugh constructs his own narrative wasteland – a fictional world woven from repetition, allusion, and recurring figures – where satire coexists with deeper reflections on faith, redemption, and human frailty. Like Eliot, Waugh leaves room for fleeting glimpses of hope. This ongoing dialogue with The Waste Land offers fresh insight into Waugh’s place within the modernist tradition.Artykuł podejmuje próbę prześledzenia relacji hipertekstualnej między prozą Evelyna Waugha a poematem The Waste Land T. S. Eliota. Wychodząc od koncepcji hipertekstualności Gérarda Genette’a, autorka wskazuje, w jaki sposób powieści Decline and Fall (1928),Vile Bodies (1930), A Handful of Dust (1934) oraz Brideshead Revisited (1945) nie tylko odwołują się do poematu Eliota, lecz także przejmują jego strukturę oraz podejmują pokrewne tematy: duchowej pustki, kulturowego rozpadu i egzystencjalnego głodu sensu. Każda z analizowanych powieści zestawiona zostaje z konkretną częścią The Waste Land, co pozwala odczytać dorobek Waugha jako spójną, intertekstualną odpowiedź na modernistyczne lęki i diagnozy. Autorka przekonuje, że Waugh tworzy własną „ziemię jałową” – świat utkany z powtórzeń, literackich aluzji i powracających figur – w którym satyra splata się z głębszymi pytaniami o wiarę, zbawienie i ludzką kondycję. Mimo gorzkiego tonu, w tej prozie, podobnie jak u Eliota, odnaleźć można przestrzeń na chwilowe przebłyski nadziei. Interpretacja ta ukazuje, że prowadzony z The Waste Land dialog nie tylko odsłania nowe sensy w twórczości Waugha, lecz także rzuca światło na jej miejsce w szerszym pejzażu literatury modernistycznej.
 
ZARZĄDZANIE RYZYKIEM FINANSOWYM JAKO KLUCZOWY CZYNNIK ZAPOBIEGAJĄCY UPADŁOŚCI
Get PDFPurpose – The objective of this article is to define the role of financial risk management, identify tools for minimizing financial risk and their importance in preventing corporate bankruptcy, and indicate methods and tools enabling effective action..
Methodology – The article describes methods for risk analysis, assessment of a company's financial situation, and forms of protection against financial risk.
Findings – Companies currently operate in very dynamic market, economic, and social conditions and are increasingly exposed to the risk of losing financial liquidity, which can be a precursor to insolvency and, consequently, bankruptcy. An unstable economy and financial risk are increasingly contributing to the bankruptcy of companies on the market. Therefore, financial risk management should be a key element of the management of any company. There are many methods and techniques on the market for assessing risk and protecting against it. Building a risk management system requires a company to individually assess its key problems and select methods that will enable it to maintain its financial condition, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining an optimal level of financial liquidity.Cel. Celem artykułu jest określenie roli zarządzania ryzykiem finansowym, identyfikacja narzędzi minimalizacji ryzyka finansowego i ich znaczenie w zapobieganiu upadłości przedsiębiorstw oraz wskazanie metod i narzędzi umożliwiających skuteczne działania.
Metoda. W artykule opisano metody umożliwiające analizę ryzyka, ocenę sytuacji finansowej przedsiębiorstwa oraz formy zabezpieczania się przed ryzykiem finansowym.
Wyniki. Przedsiębiorstwa funkcjonują obecnie w bardzo dynamicznych uwarunkowaniach rynkowych, ekonomicznych i społecznych, i w coraz większym stopniu narażone są na utratę płynności finansowej, która może być swoistego rodzaju forpocztą do niewypłacalności i w konsekwencji upadłości. Niestabilna gospodarka, ryzyko finansowe coraz częściej przyczyniają się do upadłości przedsiębiorstw na rynku. Dlatego zarządzanie ryzykiem finansowym powinno stanowić kluczowy element zarządzania każdego przedsiębiorstwa. Na rynku istnieje wiele metod i technik oceny ryzyka oraz zabezpieczania się przed nim. Budowa systemu zarządzania ryzykiem wymaga od przedsiębiorstwa indywidualnej oceny kluczowych problemów przedsiębiorstwa i doboru metod umożliwiających podtrzymanie kondycji finansowej, zapewniającej ciągłość działania i utrzymanie optymalnego poziomu płynności wskaźników finansowych

Get PDFThe article addresses the topic of an unconventional, non-standard vision of the individual’s “borderland”, which applies not only to cultural or geographical borders but also to the realms of human identity. Identity is not homogeneous; rather, it consists of many different “sub-identities” that intersect, forming a complex, cross-border network of forms, faces, experiences, and emotions, which, like puzzle pieces, come together to shape a multidimensional individual. This implies that a person contains the borderland within themselves and is a transboundary entity. Such complexity encourages the search for a mediating element—a mediator whose task is to ensure communication between the dimensions of an individual and their efficient functioning. Various academic sources suggest that humans have many mediators; yet, according to the author, the most compelling one is the phenomenon of attachment, which, by influencing all aspects of an individual’s life, provides a common point of reference for each of them. One of the best models for a multi-layered structure of a person is literature, as it offers a foundation for expressing inner states through the written word. When interpreted, literature serves to formulate an unseen image of a person and uncover their internal codes. For this purpose, a collection of poetry titled Ballads about War and Reconstruction (2001) by the Ukrainian poet Serhiy Zhadan was chosen. This choice is justified by the theme of war, which—characteristic of the intersection of all layers of human existence—both blurs and reveals its boundaries. In analyzing the poetry, the author draws on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of archetypal images as well as scientific studies on the multi-layeredness of human identity by Emil Frankl. The findings allow the author to identify the fundamental role of attachments to primary archetypes in the individual’s “borderland” and determine their influence on its dimensions. The conclusion also demonstrates the multifaceted nature of the phenomenon of attachment, which facilitates its effective role as a mediator in such a multi-layered entity as a human being.
W artykule poruszono temat nietypowego, odmiennego od standardowej wizji pogranicza, które dotyczy przede wszystkim nie granic kulturowych lub geograficznych, lecz obszarów tożsamości ludzkiej. Tożsamość osoby nie jest jednolita – składa się z wielu różnych podtożsamości, które przenikają się, tworząc złożoną sieć form, oblicz, doświadczeń i przeżyć. Niczym puzzle układają się one w wielowymiarową całość. Z tego wynika, że człowiek zawiera w sobie pogranicze i jest jednostką transgraniczną. Taka złożoność skłania ku poszukiwaniu elementu pośredniczącego – mediatora, którego zadaniem jest zapewnienie kontaktu między wymiarami jednostki oraz jej sprawnego funkcjonowania. Różne źródła naukowe wskazują na to, że człowiek ma wiele mediatorów, jednak według autorki godnym szczególnej uwagi jest jeden z nich – fenomen przywiązania. Mając wpływ na wszystkie aspekty życia indywiduum, stanowi wspólny punkt odniesienia dla każdego z nich. Jednym z najlepszych modeli wielowarstwowej struktury człowieka jest literatura, ponieważ zapewnia przestrzeń dla wyrażania stanów wewnętrznych poprzez słowo pisane, które – poddane interpretacji – pozwala na sformułowanie niedostrzeganego gołym okiem obrazu człowieka i odczytanie jego wewnętrznych kodów. W tym celu wybrano zbiór poezji Ballady o wojnie i odbudowie (2001) ukraińskiego poety Serhija Żadana. Wybór ten znajduje uzasadnienie w tematyce wojny, która – jako charakterystyczna dla skrzyżowania wszystkich warstw ludzkiej egzystencji – jednocześnie zaciera i ujawnia jej granice. Analizując poezję, autorka czerpie z teorii psychoanalizy archetypowych wyobrażeń Karla Gustava Junga i opracowań naukowych o wielowarstwowości tożsamości człowieka Emila Frankla. Ustalenia wynikające z badania pozwalają jej zidentyfikować fundamentalną rolę przywiązania do podstawowych archetypów w strukturze jednostki i określić ich wpływ na jej wymiary. Podsumowanie ukazuje także wielopostaciowość fenomenu przywiązania, co sprzyja efektywnemu pełnieniu przez nie roli mediatora w złożonej, wielopoziomowej naturze człowieka.
