The qualities of tasks in organic chemistry and diochemistry based on the analysis of entrance procedure at the Faculty of Science, Charles University
Get PDFČlánek představuje výsledky položkové analýzy oborových testů z chemie zadávaných pro účely přijímacího řízení na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Karlovy v letech 2016 až 2019 a navazuje na dříve publikované články zaměřené na obecnou a anorganickou chemii. Cílem zkoumání byla identifikace nejvíce obtížných úloh pro uchazeče o studium a rovněž necitlivých úloh, tj. takových, které nedostatečně rozlišovaly úspěšné uchazeče od uchazečů neúspěšných. Obtížné úlohy byly identifikovány na základě vypočtení indexu obtížnosti. Necitlivé úlohy byly stanoveny na základě výpočtu koeficientů ULI(1/2) a RIR.Výsledky položkové analýzy odhalily, že v rámci organické chemie a biochemie byly pro uchazeče obtížné úlohy ze čtyř okruhů (reakce v organické chemii, konstituce látek a izomerie, klasifikace organických látek, enzymy). Necitlivé úlohy byly detekovány u sedmi témat, která obsahovala alespoň jednu necitlivou položku (např. kyselost a zásaditost organických látek, vzorce v biochemii, biochemické reakce, . . . ). Necitlivost úlohy často souvisela s vysokým počtem kroků nutných k jejímu úspěšnému vyřešení.This article introduces results of item analysis of chemistry tests used as a part of the admission procedure at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, between 2016 and 2019. This paper focuses on organic chemistry and biochemistry as it follows already published papers focusing on general and inorganic chemistry. The aim of the research was to determine which tasks were the most troublesome for applicants and those with a low discrimination index. The troublesome tasks were found based on the calculation of difficult indexes whereas the item discrimination index was represented by ULI(1/2) and RIR coefficients.The results of the item analysis showed that there are four topics containing troublesome tasks in organic chemistry and biochemistry (reactions in organic chemistry, isomery and constitution of compunds, classification in organic chemistry and enzymes). Additionally, the analysis revealed five topics containing items with a low discrimination index (for example: acidity and basicity of organic compounds, formulae in biochemistry, biochemical reactions, . . . ). Further analysis showed that in many cases, the dicsrimination index of the item decreased with a number of steps necessary for succeeding in the task

Příspěvek seznamuje s hlavními cíli a teoretickými východisky projektu a nabízí přehled a stručnou charakteristiku čtyř typů vyvíjených metodických materiálů. Jejich smyslem je podpořit učitele ve snaze rozvíjet schopnost žáků řešit slovní úlohy skrze rozvoj čtenářských, jazykových a metakognitivních dovedností. Článek je prvním z chystané série příspěvků, které postupně detailněji představí všechny typy metodických materiálů

No full textSpolu se zavedením společného vzdělávání nabrala na intenzitě potřeba individualizace a diferenciace výuky. V článku, který vznikl v projektu TA ČR – Podpora integrace matematické, čtenářské a jazykové gramotnosti u žáků základních škol (2020–2023) bude představena jedna z možností jak v rámci tohoto konceptu pracovat se slovními úlohami. Cílem je, aby všichni žáci mohli řešit stejnou slovní úlohu, ale současně v ní měli adekvátní možnost uspět. A to bez ohledu na svoje stávající schopnosti a dovednosti. Toho se snažíme docílit pomocí vhodně zvolených individualizovaných odstupňovaných nápověd. Text nejprve představí teoretická východiska daného přístupu a následně nabídne dva příklady praktického využití
Assimilation as a Process of Universal History
Get PDFEseje a stati Jindřicha Kohna, vzniklé ve zhruba první třetině minulého století představují zajímavý pokus o vypracování projektu asimilace jako historicko-filosofického konceptu, který přesahoval tehdejší českožidovské asimilační představy. Jednak svým hegelovsky fenomenologickým výkladem asimilace jako (v zásadě) eschatologického procesu dějin, vrcholícího asimilací celého lidstva, jednak jako původní příspěvek k českým dějinám idejí a k výkladu jejich nosných postav. Kohnova filosofie dějin vnitřně propojovala tradice židovského myšlení s hlavním proudem české filosofie dějin XIX. století, zejména s myšlením T.G. Masaryka. V těchto souvislostech je J. Kohna možné považovat za jednoho z důležitých interpretů Masarykova díla. Využíváním Masarykových idejí humanity a demokracie a zejména konceptu náboženského smyslu (českých) dějin, vytvořil Jindřich Kohn původní filosoficko-historickou koncepci univerzální asimilace celého lidstva založené na respektu a vzájemnosti, vědomě protipostavené nejen dobovému nacionalismu, ale také sílícímu sionistickému hnutí. Jejími důležitými segmenty byla analýza duchovní situace přítomnosti, a přesvědčení o etické povaze židovského nacionalismu, které mu sloužily jako východisko pro porozumění českožidovské asimilace jako funkce pro-modernizační proměny židovské identity.Jindřich Kohn’s essays, written in the first third of the last century, represent an interesting attempt to elaborate the project of assimilation as a historical and philosophical concept that went beyond the Czech-Jewish assimilationist ideas of the time: firstly, with its Hegelian phenomenological interpretation of assimilation as an (essentially) eschatological process of history, culminating in the assimilation of the whole of humanity, and secondly, as an original contribution to the Czech history of ideas and to the interpretation of its central figures. Kohn’s philosophy of history intrinsically linked the traditions of Jewish thinking with the mainstream of the Czech philosophy of history of the 19th century, especially with the ideas of T. G. Masaryk. In this context, we can consider J. Kohn as one of the important interpreters of Masaryk’s work. Using Masaryk’s ideas of humanity and democracy, and especially the idea of the religious meaning of (Czech) history, Kohn created an original philosophical-historical concept of universal assimilation of all human race based on respect and reciprocity, consciously opposed not only to the nationalism of the time, but also to the growing Zionist movement. Its important segments were an analysis of the spiritual situation of the present and the ethical nature of Jewish nationalism, which served as a starting point for understanding Czech-Jewish assimilation as a function of the pro-modernist transformation of Jewish identity

Get PDFHans Renders je profesor historie a teorie biografie a ředitel Biografického institutu na univerzitě v nizozemském Groningenu. Byl členem zakládajícího výboru Biographers International Organization (BIO). Napsal biografie nizozemského básníka Jana Hanlo (1998), nizozemského novináře a autora Jana Camperta (2004) a nizozemského umělce, malíře, spisovatele, básníka a architekta Theo van Doesburga (2022). Je editorem knižní řady Biography Studies v nakladatelství Brill. Publikoval biografické studie v nejrůznějších mezinárodních časopisech a editoval kolektivní monografie Theoretical Discussions of Biography. Approaches from History, Microhistory, and Life Writing (spolu s Binne de Haan, Brill, 2014), The Biographical Turn: Lives in History (společně s Binne de Haan a Jonne Harmsma, Routledge, 2017), a Fear of Theory: Towards a New Theoretical Justification of Biography (společně s Davidem Veltmanem, Brill, 2021). S Nigelem Hamiltonem v roce 2018 vydal monografii The ABC of Modern Biography. Jana Wohlmuth Markupová s Hansem Rendersem hovořila v Groningenu v září 2023.Hans Renders is a Professor of History and Biography Theory, and the director of the Biography Institute at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He was a member of the founding committee of the Biographers International Organization (BIO). He has written biographies of the Dutch poet Jan Hanlo (1998), Dutch journalist and author Jan Campert (2004) and Dutch artist, painter, writer, poet, and architect Theo van Doesburg (2022). He is the editor of the Biographical Studies series at Brill. He has published studies on biography in various international journals and edited Theoretical Discussions of Biography.
