PROFILE OF THE PREMATURES AND MOTHERS CARED FOR IN A REFERRAL UNIT
Every newborn with gestational age of less than 37 weeks is considered premature and requires greater attention from everyone to guarantee their life. Preterm birth can be triggered by maternal, fetal and behavioral factors (hypertension, infection, congenital anomalies, abusive use of cigarettes, alcohol, among others). Knowledge of the profile of the population that use a health service is a tool for planning health actions. Purpose: To identify the profile of the mothers according to the degree of prematurity of the children. Methods: This is a quantitative exploratory study with 75 mothers of 80 children who attend a specialized ambulatory, with five children being twins, using their own questionnaire, with closed questions. Results: Most mothers have between 19 and 29 years of age (58.6%), stable union (78.7%), more than nine years of schooling (73.3%) and without paid activity (65.3%), his family consists of four people with per capita income of 418.00 reais. Among the newborns, the prevalence was classified as very premature (45.33%). Conclusion: The age of the mothers is adequate, but the number of newborns is alarming, since the risk of death is increased in deliveries that occur before 32 weeks of gestation. This has been the major public health problem in obstetrics since they are responsible for most of the fetal mortality and morbidity. The results pointed out the need for systematic updating of professionals to provide quality care and contribute to the growth and development of preterm infants
APPLICABILITY OF PHYTOSTEROLS ON HYPERERCOLESTEROLEMIA IN HEALTHY DOGS
Phytosterols are extracted from some vegetables and cereals with high lipid content and are used as lipid-lowering agents in the prevention of obesity and cardiovascular diseases in people. The hypothesis of the applicability of phytosterols in domestic animals emerged with the increase in the number of patients with hyperlipidemias secondary to endocrinopathies and glomerulopathies, including hyperadrenocorticism, hypothyroidism and diabetes mellitus. This study aim to observe the action of phytosterols in healthy dog
EVALUATION OF SYSTEMIC TOXICITY AND NOCICEPTIVE ACTIVITY OF OIL-RESIN OF Copaifera multijuga.
Purpose: The present work aims to evaluate the nociceptive, locomotor and systemic toxicity effects of C. multijuga oil-resin in Swiss mice. Methods: In the formalin test the animals (5 / group) received 2.5% formalin solution intraplantar injection and were observed for the first 5 minutes for evaluation of analgesic activity and between 15-30 minutes for evaluation of the anti-inflammatory activity. For the acute toxicity and locomotor assessment the animals received the dose of 2000 mg/kg of C. multijuga oil-resin and were observed for 15 days for signs of general toxicity. Results: In the first phase of the formalin test there was no significant result when compared to the negative control. In the second phase of the test, the C. multijuga oil-resin, at a dose of 200 mg/kg (v.o.) significantly reduced the stimuli (licking and / or biting) induced by the formalin solution. At the 2000 mg/kg dose, the extract did not cause significant locomotor changes when compared to the control group, indicating absence of central depressive activity. In the assessment of acute toxicity, no behavioral and/or physiological changes were observed at the dose tested, indicating absence of acute toxicity. Conclusion: The oil-resin of C. multijuga significantly reduced the licking time in the period of 15 to 30 minutes, indicating anti-inflammatory activity, however no activity was observed in the period of neurogenic pain, indicating absence of analgesia. Also, it does not present acute toxicity and locomotory changes
CORRELATION OF SOCIOEDUCATIONAL INFORMATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF FOOD MANAGEMENT IN DOGS OF THE CITY OF FRANCA - SP
Most dog and cat owners generally do not recognize obesity in their animals, nor are they aware of the harms of this nutritional disorder. It is therefore of utmost importance to identify and understand that excessive accumulation of body fat impairs organic functions and causes potentially serious disturbances to human as well as animal health. Purpose: Thus, this study aims to identify, in a sample of the community of Franca, the food management adopted, the obesity index of these animals, relating it to the socio-educational data. Methods: Data used in the questionnaires applied with an academic character were used to 160 dog owners attending the "Viva o Parque" Program in Franca city. It should be noted that only persons over 18 years of age who were able to take responsibility for their actions answered the questionnaire. Correlation will be made between socioeconomic characteristics and the feeding management of dogs. The data contained in the questionnaires will be compiled and expressed in tables containing the percentage of responses of the owners of pets in the municipality of Franca, SP and organized according to the sessions present in each questionnaire. The means of the percentages of answers will be confronted and discussed with data from the scientific literature

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF THE N-HEXANE FRACTION FROM MICONIA MACROTHYRSA
Introduction: There has recently been an explosion of interest in herbal medicine and, consequently, an increasing need to identify the biologically active compounds from botanical extracts has arisen. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) using electron ionization (EI) has emerged as the most adequate technique for identification of triterpenes, sterols, glycerols, waxes, fatty acids, and other compounds from non-polar extracts. Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the chemical composition of the n-hexane fraction from Miconia macrothyrsa (Melastomataceae) collected in Brazil. Methods: GC-MS was used to identify the major compounds of the n-hexane fraction. Results: GC-MS revealed that palmitic acid 19.89 %, phytol 10.17 %, linoleic acid 3.10 %, oleic acid 7.51 %, and betulin 4.87 % were the major chemical constituents of the n-hexane fraction. Conclusion: GC-MS is a good technique for identification of compounds in non-polar extracts. Keywords: GC-MS, Melastomataceae, Miconia macrothyrsa. Financial support: CNPq, FAPESP
THE EXCLUSION ON THE INCLUSION: MARKS OF THE EXCLUSION OF THE SUBJECT BY THE DISCOURSE OF SCHOOL INCLUSION
Purpose: The objective of this study is to understand how a socially excluded subject can still be found in a society that seeks to deal with diversity, albeit based on a capitalist system. Methods: Our scientific research has as an object of analysis, articles that deal with school inclusion and reports of a mother in social groups on children with cognitive difficulties. We rely on Foucault's (1995, 2006) thinking about the constitution of the subject and subjectivities, seeking evidence of the construction of the excluded subject. Results: Our results lead us to a path that shows that there is a great difficulty in the social integration of the subject, a result provided by the marginalization and segregation of society and by the lack of knowledge, parameters and resources for the implementation of inclusive systems by school management. It is well known that inclusion must be done in an effective way, since both the faculty and all other school officials play an indispensable role for the success of this process. Conclusion: Inclusion, in itself, is part of many perspectives and paths, depending on the collaboration of different bodies (institutional, legislative, family and individual of the subject), therefore, the use of methodologies articulated in a didactic procedure, can and will assist in pedagogical accompaniment criteria for the excluded subject. In addition, it counts on the help of supports to the teacher, enabling the one who teaches, thus, every student with a disability will have the right to develop their potential.
