BAKHTIN IN CLASS: PRINCIPLES FOR TEACHING LITERATURE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL
Brazilian high school graduates lack the necessary development of literary interest, knowledge, and skill, indicated by their deficient results in standardized tests such as the ENEM (National Secondary Education Examination), and the PISA. According to the PISA review, Brazilian students scored highest on questions involving the recovery of information within the text but did poorly on questions involving the integration of information and interpretation. These results are a direct reflection of the work developed in class, which generally favors a historical account of the subjects' development over direct contact with, and analysis of literary works, (CEREJA, 2004) largely hindering the development of core reading skills. Objective: The objectives of this research are to study current teaching methodology practiced in high school classrooms and to propose principles, within a Bakhtinian framework, for more productive work. Methods: The methodology used is primarily bibliographical, analyzing Bakhtin’s views on literature and the novel, following an analysis of textbook orientations on literature education. This research aims to identify methodological issues in the teaching of literature that may be limiting the development of global reading skills and present feasible principles to improve teachers’ performance in the classroom based on Bakhtin’s reflections to better engage students in a more in-depth reading experience and ultimately improve evaluation results
PHYSIOTHERAPY APPROACH IN TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY: LITERATURE REVIEW
Introduction: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a non-degenerative or congenital brain injury caused by external physical force. Individuals affected may have temporary or permanent impairments and disabilities, interfering with normal activities and abilities. Thus, Physiotherapy aims at the functional recovery of the individuals involved, aiming the return of the post-injury compromised functions, being able to be applied through several methods like Bobath Method, Equoterapia, Hydrotherapy, Virtual Reality, among others. Purpose: To discuss the TBI and to identify in the literature the functional and cognitive gains obtained through the physiotherapeutic intervention as treatment. Methods: A literature review was carried out using the scientific descriptors that were identified and interleaved using the term Boolean AND, on the BVS, Medline/ Pubmed and Google Scholar data platforms. We selected articles that addressed functional rehabilitation in the sequelae of the TBI, in the period of publication between 2005 and 2018, and as an exclusion criterion the rehabilitation in the post-acute phase of TBI and articles that were not in full. Results: There were initially found 207 articles, and after applying the exclusion criteria, resulting in 21 articles. Conclusion: It was concluded through the study that the physiotherapeutic intervention initiated shortly after hospital discharge brings benefits to the patient in the sensory-motor, cognitive and quality of life aspects, and that stimulated neuroplasticity occurs most effectively in the first year after the injury. There is a need for further studies on the physiotherapeutic intervention in the post-discharge period of patients with TBI sequelae. CONDUCTIVE COATING BY SOL-GEL
Purpose: The objective is to coat insulating substrates to transform in conductors, using the method sol-gel and the technique dip-coating. Methods: The conventional sol-gel methodology was used, the precursor solution for the coating is composed of H2O, isopropyl alcohol, tetraethylorthosilicate and surfactant CTAB. The reagents were agitated for 30 min, the coatings were performed through by process dip-coating. In each plate was performed only 1 deposition and after went in an oven at 100º C for 120 seconds. The rate of deposition speed from 50 to 200 mm/min, and the immersion time was 120 to 600 seconds. With a solution of silver nitrate of concentration 2.10-1 mol.L-1, were realized 5 depositions, at the speed of 100 mm/min, with 120 seconds immersion, on all 5 plates by process dip-coating, subsequently the plates were submitted to an ultraviolet light by 600 seconds to realize the reduction of silver. For the electrical conductivity test, was used a voltage source of 10V, applied to the circuit three resistors 450 Ω in parallel, and the plates in series with the resistors. The presence of metallic silver in coatings was confirmed through electronic spectra. Results: The spectra in the region of UV-Vis presented bands in the region of 400 nm, confirming the presence of metallic silver in the order of 20 nm. Conclusion: Despite containing silver in the films, was not enough to conducts electric current, the films of CTAB presented bubbles on the surface of the glass, so a study concerning the solution deposition process should be performed so the film has aspect homogeneous
OCCURRENCE OF MANTODEA SPECIES ON THE UNIFRAN CAMPUS
Purpose: Mantodea, known as praying mantis, are predators found in almost all regions of the world, with most occurring in tropical regions. In the world, about 2,400 species have been described and 273 species in Brazil. The objective was to study the occurrence of insects of the order Mantodea at the University of Franca campus, observing the diversity of species found. Methods: The samplings were carried out weekly in the period of March to April of 2018. The insects were collected using a sweep net (30 cm diameter × 75 cm length). The samplings were carried out mainly in the university campus gardens. The insects collected were identified according to a specific dichotomous key for Mantodea species that occur in Brazil. Results: Three species of Mantodea were collected from the Mantidae family Oxyopsis media, Stagmatoptera reimoseri and Parastagmatoptera sp. Conclusion: The sampling is still in progress
PREPARATION AND CARACTERIZATION OF SLIM FILMS PREPARED BY SOL-GEL BASED ON CHLOROPROPYL
Purpose: The aim of this work is to present and demonstrate the results obtained during the studies and tests carried out with the preparation and the characterization of thin films of chloropropyltriethoxysilane using the methodology of Sol - Gel together with the technique of DIP – COATING. Methods: The suns for the organization of the films were prepared by the sol-gel proccess submitting to a misture of water, ethanol, tetraethoxysilane and chloropropyltriethoxysilane to magnetic stirring for one hour. Then, the films were deposited by the techique dip-coating on a clean and dry glass substract, changing from 1 to 5 depositions. The films were then submited to a thermal treatment to 80°C during thirty minutes in air atmosphere. The films were caracterized by infrared spectroscopy, and Transmittance. Results: The results suggest that chloropropyl was adhered to the surface of the substrate. In the IV, the presence of the CH-Vibrations in the region of 2800 and 2900 cm-1, was verified, proving the formation of hibrid film in the sample with only one deposition. The other films did not presente these bands, this may be na indication of non-deposition or leaching of the films after the second and third layers. Conclusion: The results suggested that the chloropropyl was actually adhered to the substract surface, it is necessary to perform new types of tests, so that possible applications as sensors
EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF DIFLUBENZURON ON THE LARVAL STAGES OF Haematobia irritans (Horn fly) PRESENT IN BOVINE FAECES
The objective of the present research is to evaluate the efficacy of diflubenzuron on the development of Haematobia irritans (horn fly) larvae in dairy cattle. For this, 30 adult animals of the bovine species, of crossed races of taurine and zebuine origin, will be divided into two groups: treated and control. The animals will be kept under extensive grazing with supplementary feeding, where a mineral salt containing diflubenzuron will be supplied throughout the experimental period in the animals of the treated group, while the animals in the control group received only mineralized salt without addition of diflubenzuron. Stool samples will be collected on days 0, 1, 2, 3, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63 and 70 post-treatment to evaluate the efficacy of the product. The faeces samples will be homogenized, weighed and later placed in plastic containers. The plastic containers will be placed in musket boxes and conditioned in climate-controlled greenhouses. After ten days, the flies present in the musketeers boxes will be quantified for efficacy evaluation. The statistical analysis will be based on a comparative study between the control values found in the control and treated groups, as well as the comparative study between the counts of the group treated before treatment (D-2 and D-1) and after treatment. For the evaluation of statistical data, the statistical program GraphPad Prism 5® will be used. It is expected to verify the performance of diflubenzuron against Haematobia irritans larvae in feces of cattle naturally infested by flies

In 2016 the highest percentages were negligence, physical violence against the child (56%), followed by domestic violence. (12%). There is a correlation between vulnerability and violation of rights, existing social and personal risks, in specific territories. Referrals were made to the Guardianship Council, Health, Education, Judiciary, Public Ministry, Women's Police, Civil Society Organizations. Today, there are 296 families in social and family care in partnership with the network and the justice system. The phenomenon of violence is imbricated with other violations is difficult to measure and affects the quality of life of people. This study contributed to rethinking the systematization of information, articulation of the intersectoral network, decentralized actions to prevent violence, expansion of social-family support and participation of users. There have already been advances in the prevention and coping with violence, but there are challenges, such as reducing social inequalities and poverty. No violence is justifiable, can be prevented and should be a public priority, ending with the perception that it is something acceptable
