The Validity of Students’ Worksheets Based on Experiential Learning Model by Using Scientific Approach on Simple Harmonic Motion Material
The 2013 curriculum requires active students in the learning process. However, the fact shows that learning still has not activated students yet. Students’ worksheet is one of the teaching materials that can make students active in finding the concept of learning through practical activities. One of the learning models that is suitable with practical activities and can find concepts from real experience is experiential learning model. Finding concepts will be more meaningful by using a scientific approach. Simple harmonic motion material is one of the abstract, elusive, and practicable materials with real experience. Abstract material can be a concrete material for students if using experiential learning model with scientific approach guided by students’ worksheet. The students’ worksheets were developed by utilizing a tunnel oscillation marbles. Students’ worksheets developed and tested should be categorized as good work. It is said a good worksheet if it has of good quality. Validity is one of the criteria to see the quality of the students’ worksheet. The validity of the students’ worksheet is assessed by an expert. The purpose of this research was to know the validity of students’ worksheet that based on experiential learning model by using scientific approach on simple harmonic motion material. The type of this research was descriptive research. The research instrument used was validation sheet. The data were analyzed by using Aiken\u27s formula. The validation results were obtained from the students’ worksheets based on experiential learning model by using a scientific approach on simple harmonic motion material and a helpful practice tool was valid

Analysis of Learners in Development of Learners Worksheets Based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with Authentic Learning to Improve Creative Thinking Skill
This analysis aims to develop learners worksheets based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) with authentic learning to improve creative thinking skills. The steps of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model are 1) Understanding the challenge, 2) Generating ideas, 3) Preparing for action and 4) Planning your approach. In the learning model of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) aims to increase creative thinking skills of learners by using authentic learning. Type of research is developmental research (research and development) using a 4-D model. The research phases are define, design, development and (disseminate). One step in define phase is the learners’ analysis that is limited to creative thinking skills analysis. The respondents selected in this study are students of class X MIPA 3 which consists of 35 students which are in SMAN 2 Padang. The analytical instrument used in this study is by using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques performed is in the form of scoring using Likert scale. For each item of statement provides 4 (four) alternative answers. Based on the analysis of data that has been done, research results can be stated, that is the average level of Creative Thinking Skills of learners is 48.6%, where 47.4% of learners are able to think fluently ( fluency ) ; 48.3% of learners are able to think flexibly ( flexibility ) ; 45% of learners are able to think originally ( originality ) ; and 53.7% learners are able to think in detail ( elaboration ). Overall, the level of Creative Thinking Skill of learners is still in the low category. The suggested suggestion based on the result of field study is the condition of the learners is good, by using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, it is expected that the learners\u27 learning result can be improved on the harmonic vibration material to improve the creative thinking skill of the learners in authentic learning contained in learners worksheets
Development of Natural Science Textbooks for Junior High School that Contain Character-Based Integrated Learning Connected Type with Themes Fluid Blood
Textbooks play an important role in developing the competence of learners. The results of needs analysis show that natural science learning in schools requires an integrated learning text books that can develop thinking skill, facilitate student to find a connect of facts in learning, increase motivation and interest in learning, develop the character of learners, and provide learning activities that engage learners to actively conduct investigations and discussions. The required textbooks are natural science textbooks for junior high school that contain character based integrated learning connected type with the theme of the blood fluid. The purpose of this study is to produce natural science textbooks for junior high school that contains character based integrated learning connected type with the theme of the blood fluid that valid, practical, and effective. The type of this research was design research using Plomp models consisting preliminary research, prototype or development phase, and the assessment phase. Test conducted at SMP in Bukittinggi. The research instrument used to collect data was a validation sheet, practicalities sheet, attitude observation sheets, objective tests, and skills observation sheet. Data analysis that used was descriptive percentages. The results of research showed that natural science textbooks for junior high school that contains character based integrated learning connected type with the theme of the blood fluid had valid and practically criteria. In addition, this textbook is also effectively used by learners to achieve the competencies that have been set
Analysis Validity Of Science Textbook Connected Model Based Guided Inquiry Of Lightning Theme
Indonesia is a tropical country with high rainfall which often accompanied by lightning. The most dangerous lightning effect for humans is death. Several incidents caused by lightning hinted that lightning becomes a disaster threat for anyone. The issue of disaster in Indonesia is a national strategic issue that gets priority especially in the field of education. Providing knowledge of disasters at school is one effort to integrate disaster knowledge through education curriculum. To implement the knowledge of lightning disaster requires a textbook that contain knowledge of lightning. Based on the need analysis, development of science textbook based on guided inquiry model of lightning theme can be a solution of the problem. The purpose of the research is to produce a sciences text book connected model based guided inquiry with lightning theme of valid criteria. This research is research and development (R&D) by using the ADDIE model. The result of the research showed in four points. First, the text book has a valid in terms of content with score of 0.67. Second, valid in terms of presentation with score of 0.84. Third, valid in terms graphics with score of 0.89. Fourth, valid in terms language with score of 0.89

Detailed Analysis of Heat Sinks
In basic thermodynamics whenever we start studying work cycles (for example Carnot cycle) we have a heat source which provides heat and then work is done in the body and then there is a heat sink which takes the remaining heat from the body. There we assume that this heat sink is a reservoir of heat which takes the heat without a change in temperature. So the purpose here is to remove heat from the system in consideration. This term paper involves in depth discussion about various factors responsible for the efficiency of a heat sink. This also includes calculations regarding heat transfer process involved in the working of a sink. Moreover, the paper presents a holistic view of various techniques available for heat sink applications. Comparison of materials which can be used for the purpose has been put forward along with thermodynamic calculations using standard models for heat removal

The Effect Of Marketing Mix On Purchase Decision Of Oil Palm Seedlings In Palm Oil Research Center (PPKS) In West Pasaman
This study examines the impact of marketing mix on purchase decision of oil palm seedlings in palm oil research center (PPKS) in west pasaman. This type of research is causative research that see the influence of product, price, location, and promotion on is purchasing decision. Respondents in this research are prospective consumers of Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) in Pasaman Barat. The sample of this research is 62 respondents. Data analysis technique used is path analysis to know the impact of marketing mix on purchase decision of Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (PPKS) in Pasaman Barat.
The results showed: (1) The product has significant effect on the purchase decision of oil palm seedlings in Pasaman Barat; (2) The price has significant effect on the purchasing decision of oil palm seedlings in Pasaman Barat; (3) The location has no significant effect on the purchasing decision of PPKS oil palm seedlings in Pasaman Barat; (4) Promotion has no significant effect on purchasing decision of PPKS oil palm seed in Pasaman Barat
