The Mac Gregor Flap in a Case of Third-Degree Burn in a 4-Month-Old Infant at JRA University Hospital
The Mac Gregor inguinal flap is a distant axial-based flap. It is a highly reliable flap for covering large substance losses of the upper limb. Although its major disadvantage is the need for two surgical stages, it remains a preferred choice in hand surgery, whether in emergency situations or planned surgeries. The purpose of this study is to highlight its benefits by weighing its advantages and disadvantages.
We present the case of a 4-month-old infant who suffered a third-degree thermal burn caused by flame. She underwent debridement in the emergency department. After five days, she was readmitted for a second procedure, which included debridement of necrotic tissue from the left upper limb, a trans-metacarpal amputation of the ipsilateral hand, and coverage with a Mac Gregor inguinal flap. After 21 days, the flap was separated, and the donor site was sutured. Both anatomical and functional outcomes were satisfactory.
The Mac Gregor flap is an interesting coverage solution with significant functional and aesthetic advantages. Its place in the therapeutic arsenal for covering limb substance losses should be reconsidered

Uncertainty and Risk in Investments
The most characteristic feature of modern business-economic life is the pressing need to make correct and rational decisions. Decisions concern the future and are made under conditions of uncertainty. All organizations operate in an atmosphere of uncertainty regarding future events and are obliged to make decisions given this uncertainty. Thus, the need for all choices made, including investment decisions, to be based on scientific analyses regarding possible future outcomes becomes imperative. Therefore, the ability to accurately predict future events is an essential part of today\u27s complex managerial planning and control, part of which is part of the role of a modern production engineer. Investment can be defined as the commitment of capital to productive assets, with the aim of greater benefits in the future. In a purely economic interpretation, an investment exists when some economic resources are converted into capital assets, such as an industrial unit. The implementation of an investment project requires a long-term commitment of capital, the return of which takes place throughout the duration of the investment. However, for an investor to proceed with a long-term commitment of capital, whether he is a legal entity (business) or a natural person, he must be convinced that the return that will result from this financial decision will be satisfactory. Therefore, before any investment decision - and more generally any business decision - an assessment of future events that may affect the cash-flow that will be generated by its execution is necessary. This assessment of the elements that must be introduced in the evaluation of the investment cannot be completely accurate, due to the uncertainty that the future hides
Problématique De L´Application Des Principes Des Droits De L´Homme A L´Est De La République Démocratique Du Congo
