Get PDFThe need to involve undergraduate students in the production of scientific knowledge brings important consequences for student life and for the training opportunities that will be offered to the student during his/her passage through Higher Education. The present study consists of an experience report on development of the Knowledge Production Workshop, an interdisciplinary scientific initiation activity conducted by professors from the Law and Psychology courses and aimed at the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge. with interdisciplinarity between Psychology and Law. The evolution of the Workshop and the understanding of the Teachers-conductors of the activity in the proposal of scientific production will be demonstrated.O artigo tem como objetivo apresentar reflexões sobre a relação entre os campos da Pedagogia e das políticas públicas e as incidências desta relação nas políticas educacionais. Parte das reflexões de uma das autoras é proveniente da sua experiência prática como profissional da educação e sua vivência de pesquisa e estudo no Mestrado Acadêmico em Educação. O trabalho traz, brevemente, considerações sobre como o pacto federativo e o modelo de cooperação entre os entes federados refletem nos desenhos de implementação da política. Discute, ainda, como a capacidade institucional influencia a implementação de políticas dos territórios municipais brasileiros. A reflexão abrange a natureza das políticas educacionais e sua aproximação das práticas educativas e aponta para a necessidade de aproximação entre a pedagogia e as políticas públicas educacionais
O conceito de cultura no adventismo e suas implicações
Get PDFThe relationship between culture, ethics and Christian mission is clearly important, after all, the perception of the theme affects the practice of the churches and their relationship with the world. In the search for answers to questions related to Adventist cross-cultural evangelism, some preliminary questions must be answered: what is culture really? How should the Christian behave in this regard? How does the Seventh-day Adventist Church understand the theme? The purpose of this study is to contribute with elements that bring further clarification to such questions. Therefore, a literature review and document analysis research were carried out here, seeking to analyze, through official publications of the church and its theologians, the ways of understanding the concept. An analysis is made of the uses of the IASD concept of “culture” in the publications of its pioneers, in its official publications and in the writings of contemporary theologians. Thus, it was possible to observe that IASD understands the concept of culture as the knowledge / identity of a people; an identity that is developed through acquired assumptions, that is, by fundamental elements that make up the basis of the cultural paradigm of each people, thus not adopting a perception of neutral culture.A relação entre cultura, ética e missão cristã afeta a praxe das igrejas e sua relação com o mundo. Na busca por respostas de questões relacionadas ao evangelismo transcultural adventista, alguns questionamentos preliminares devem ser respondidos: O que, de fato, é cultura? Como o cristão deve se portar diante desse assunto? Como a Igreja Adventista do Sétimo Dia (IASD) compreende o tema? O objetivo deste estudo é contribuir com elementos que tragam maior esclarecimento a tais perguntas. Para tanto, uma pesquisa de revisão bibliográfica e análise documental foi aqui efetuada, buscando analisar os modos de compreensão do conceito. Com isso em mente, é feita análise dos usos do conceito de “cultura” pela IASD nas publicações de seus pioneiros, em suas publicações oficiais e nos escritos de teólogos contemporâneos que se enquadram naquilo que se pode denominar “ortodoxia adventista”. Mediante tal prática, foi possível observar que a IASD compreende o conceito de cultura como conhecimento/identidade de um povo; identidade que é desenvolvida por intermédio de pressupostos adquiridos das mais diversas fontes, ou seja, por elementos fundamentais que compõem a base do paradigma cultural de cada povo, não adotando, desse modo, uma percepção de cultura neutra
Religiosidade, espiritualidade e doenças cardiovasculares: o que mostram as pesquisas?
Get PDFThe relationship between religiosity, spirituality and health has increased in recent years, especially when it comes to the prevention of chronic diseases. Cardiovascular diseases are among the main causes of mortality worldwide and also in Brazil. This article aims to review and discuss what has been discussed in the last five years regarding the role of religiosity/spirituality in patients with cardiovascular diseases. A Pubmed search was performed for articles published in the last five years with the terms [“cardiovascular diseases” and “religiosity or spirituality”] in January 2022. 41 articles were found, with seven remaining after refinement. The studies evaluated were unanimous in reporting their limitations, as well as the need for more research involving the subject of religiosity/spirituality and cardiovascular diseases.A relação entre religiosidade, espiritualidade e saúde vem aumentando nos últimos anos, especialmente em se tratando da prevenção de doenças crônicas. As doenças cardiovasculares estão entre as principais causas de mortalidade mundialmente e também no Brasil. Este artigo tem como objetivo revisar e discutir sobre o que tem sido abordado nos últimos cinco anos a respeito do papel da religiosidade/espiritualidade em pacientes com doenças cardiovasculares. Foi realizada uma busca no Pubmed, dos artigos publicados nos últimos cinco anos, com os termos [“cardiovascular diseases” and “religiosity or spirituality”] em Janeiro de 2022. Foram encontrados 41 artigos, restando sete após refinamento. Os estudos avaliados foram unânimes em relatar as suas limitações, bem como a necessidade de haver mais pesquisas envolvendo o assunto religiosidade/espiritualidade e doenças cardiovasculares
Projeto Interdisciplinar entre Psicologia e Direito: Oficina de Produção de Conhecimento
Get PDFThis research is part of a broader context of conceptual deepening in the area of Educational Assessment, more specifically in the Institutional Assessment dimension. Thus, it aims to understand the impacts resulting from this institutional dimension on social dynamics and how these relationships are built and consolidated in historical time. It also seeks to broaden the understanding of other concepts associated with the theme, in addition to the implementation of self-assessment policies in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). As a methodology, it was proposed to carry out related research with a view to exploring points of approximation and distance between the concepts of institutional self-assessment and institutional assessment. Therefore, it seeks as a conceptual basis studies by authors such as Bernardes and Rothen (2016), Castro and Oliveira (2021), Gatti (2002), Pena and Alves (2021), Brendalise (2011) among others. The survey was based on research carried out in the last five years (2016-2020) and made available on the digital platform, theses and dissertations catalog of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The results found evidenced a significant amount of theses and dissertations in different higher education programs and institutions. Studies indicate that there is a multi-referential production on institutional assessment in Brazil, with different views and perspectives on this dimension of Educational Assessment, which allows new researchers to take action to contribute to the idea of building a true assessment culture in parents.A necessidade de envolver o aluno de graduação na produção de conhecimento científico traz desdobramentos importantes para a vida estudantil e para as oportunidades de formação que serão ofertadas ao aluno durante sua passagem pelo Ensino Superior. O presente estudo consiste em um relato de experiência do desenvolvimento da Oficina de Produção de Conhecimento, uma atividade de iniciação científica interdisciplinar conduzida por professores dos cursos de Direito e Psicologia e voltada para a produção e divulgação de conhecimentos científicos. com interdisciplinaridade entre Psicologia e Direito. Ensino da Matemática para alunos com Transtorno do Espectro Autista
Get PDFThe discussion of the forms and methodologies for the application of mathematics teaching as well as the issue of social inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder is necessary, as the need for these students to acquire skills for learning formal education. The autistic student faces many learning difficulties, as there is a lack of correct and concise methodology adapted to their needs. The main objective of this work is to provide a reflection on the TEACCH Method within the teaching of mathematics to the autistic. To carry out this work, a bibliographic research was carried out on the most relevant and significant aspects of the TEACCH Method, as well as its benefits when working with autistic children. It is concluded that the method in question facilitates the learning of these children in a specific way, enabling a greater expansion of their mathematical knowledge and, consequently, a greater interaction with their social environment.A discussão das formas e metodologias para a aplicação do ensino de matemática bem como a questão da inclusão social dos alunos portadores do Transtorno do Espectro Autista se faz necessária, pois há necessidade desses alunos em adquirir habilidades para o aprendizado da educação formal. O aluno autista enfrenta muitas dificuldades na aprendizagem, pois há uma falta de metodologia correta e concisa adaptada às suas necessidades. O objetivo central deste trabalho é proporcionar uma reflexão sobre o Método TEACCH dentro do ensino da matemática ao autista. Para a realização deste trabalho, foi efetuada uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico sobre os aspectos mais relevantes e significativos do Método TEACCH, assim como seus benefícios ao se trabalhar com crianças autistas. Conclui-se, então, que o método em questão facilita a aprendizagem dessas crianças de forma específica, possibilitando uma maior ampliação dos seus conhecimentos matemáticos e, consequentemente, uma maior interação com seu meio social
Ensaio sobre formação docente para a diversidade: Docência e inclusão
Get PDFThis essay is the result of work developed in the Inclusive Practices discipline of the Professional Masters in Education class at the University of Taubaté (UNITAU). The text discusses teacher training for diversity with the theme of teaching and inclusion. The study aimed to analyze in the literature regarded the training process of teachers and inclusion in school units. For theoretical foundation, we analyzed several literatures that broach this subject, such as Bourdieu, Bueno, Carmo, Glat, Grassi, Freire, Roldão, Ross, Soares, Tardif, Vigotski, and official documents such as Salamanca Declaration, Inclusive Education Program, World Declaration of Education for All. Today in which the discussion around multiculturalism and diversity is increasing, the school – especially teacher training – needs to reorganize itself in a change that involves pedagogical praxis, in which the teacher is the mediator of knowledge, and that the student is, together with the teacher, protagonist of the teaching-learning process. The act of teaching needs mediation together with the construction of a truly democratic society, in which access and permanence in school is for all students regardless of whether they have a disability or not. “Education for all” despite proposing equal rights, access and permanence, is still selective, as the less favored layers of society are unable to warrant their children an education that provides them basic knowledge and skills. Education and educational inclusion need to be urgently revised.Este ensaio é o resultado de um trabalho desenvolvido na disciplina de Práticas Inclusivas da turma de Mestrado Profissional em Educação da Universidade de Taubaté (UNITAU). O texto discorre sobre a formação docente para a diversidade com a temática da docência e inclusão. O estudo teve como objetivo analisar e discutir com base em uma revisão sistemática de literatura como está sendo o processo formativo dos docentes para inclusão, com ênfase em alunos público-alvo da educação especial. Para a fundamentação teórica analisamos literaturas que discorrem sobre o assunto proposto como Bourdieu, Bueno, Carmo, Glat, Grassi, Freire, Roldão, Ross, Soares, Tardif e Vigotski, além de documentos oficiais como Declaração de Salamanca, Programa Educação Inclusiva e Declaração Mundial de Educação para Todos. Na sociedade atual, em que o multiculturalismo e a diversidade ganham espaços para discussões, a escola – em especial a formação docente – precisa se reorganizar em uma mudança que envolva a práxis pedagógica, em um ensino no qual o docente é o mediador do conhecimento e o aluno seja, juntamente com o professor, protagonista do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. O ato de ensinar precisa de mediação juntamente com a construção de uma sociedade verdadeiramente democrática, em que o acesso e permanência na escola seja para todos os alunos, independentemente de apresentarem deficiência ou não. A “educação para todos”, apesar de propor igualdade de direitos, acesso e permanência, ainda é seletiva, na medida em que as camadas menos favorecidas da sociedade não conseguem proporcionar aos seus filhos uma educação que lhes proporcione conhecimentos e habilidades básicas, sendo que as políticas públicas referentes à educação e à inclusão educacional precisam ser urgentemente revistas
Analysis and Classification of Squares within the Urban Frame of the City of Manaus - Amazonas
Get PDFThe squares are a strategic place to invest in the afforestation of a city, as they are less confronted with buildings and energy transmission networks, but mainly because they are a place of social interaction and recreational activities. Therefore, knowing its spatial configuration and its access by the surrounding population will allow for better planning by public agencies regarding the implementation, maintenance and floristic composition of the squares. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to analyze the design of squares within the urban frame of the city of Manaus - Amazonas, Brazil. Twenty-four squares were studied through mapping and visual analysis of satellite images from the Google Earth software. Subsequently, the classification according to the type of square proposed by De Angelis and De Angelis Neto (2000) was used. A total inventory of tree specimens (DBH > 10 cm) was carried out, being registered 513 trees distributed in 13 families, 31 genus and 35 species. Of the cataloged species, 51.4% (n=18 species) are classified as exotic to Brazil and 48.6% (n=17 species) are native to Brazil. However, of the 17 native species, 15 are native to the Amazon. The insertion of Manauaras squares in its urban frame is not standardized, so it was necessary to create four subtypes of squares to meet the specific reality of Manaus. It was found that the dominant type of classification of square, regarding insertion in the urban frame, is type 3 (54.2%), followed by type 2 (29.2%) and type 4 (16.6%)
Alimentação e cultura: aceitabilidade de duas preparações à base de farinha de Babaçu
Get PDFA ciência da nutrição busca estudar o alimento relacionado aos aspectos fisiológicos no corpo e o estudo dos elementos presentes neles. Porém, mais do que nutrir-se para sobrevivência, o homem necessita se relacionar com os demais. A alimentação é mais que a ingestão de nutrientes, envolve alimentos, combinações destes e dimensões socioculturais. Objetivos: Analisar a aceitabilidade de preparações culinárias com ingrediente da cultura nativa, contribuindo para valorização da diversidade cultural e incentivo a hábitos alimentares. Método: O ingrediente-chave foi a farinha de babaçu. A escolha das receitas foi baseada no livro Receitas com farinha de babaçu, de Atala, Gil e Rigo. Foram selecionadas duas receitas, uma doce e outra salgada. Foram realizadas a degustação com 25 participantes e a aplicação do teste de aceitabilidade e escala hedônica. Resultados: Ambas as receitas obtiveram uma porcentagem de aceitabilidade de 88% para o item gostei e adorei do quesito sabor. Os quesitos com menor pontuação foram textura, aparência e aroma. Discussão: As receitas submetidas à degustação atingiram porcentagens ideais de aceitabilidade em todos os quesitos. No momento em que, no mundo inteiro, culturas alimentares tradicionais vêm perdendo espaço e valor, torna-se cada vez mais importante que nossas melhores tradições sejam preservadas, pois essa preservação influencia beneficamente no perfil de saúde. Conclusão: A aplicação de farinha de babaçu nas preparações culinárias obteve aprovação na maioria dos itens da escala hedônica, sendo uma alternativa viável para a valorização de um ingrediente nativo e para difusão de hábitos alimentares saudáveis, diversificados e acessíveis à população
