Earthquake damage evaluation of wooden framed structures with plywood wall by shaking table test
Get PDFapplication/pdfShaking table test of wooden framed structures was conducted under light，moderate or heavy dead load. Fundamental dynamic behavior of one-story，one-bay wooden framed structure with plywood wall was investigated. This test is focusing on changes of damage level，natural period，response magnification factor and damping factor under earthquake load with stepwise increasing input accelerations. Dynamic response analysis of wooden structures has been done，in which combination models of tri-linear Masing type and slip type for restoring-force characteristics were employed，and the earthquake acceleration level in which the specimen experienced plastic deformation is examined. Enhancement of Usage Life on Steel Buildings using Continuous Fiber Plates
Get PDFapplication/pdfTo enhance the usage life of steel building, the strengthening method with bonding continuous fiber reinforced polymer plates has been developed. Two diferent types of plates, Carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) plate and Alamido fiber reinforced polymer (AFRP) plate, has been produced by japanese chemical company. For applications of bonded CFRP, AFRP plates on steel buildings, the basic mechanical properties of CFRP, AFRP, such as tensile and adhesive strength etc, are required. In the paper tensile tests and adhesive tests were peformed on CFRP and AFRP plates. Also, to show the effectiveness of strengthening method with bonding CFRP, AFRP plates on steel structures, tests on H-shaped steel simple beam with CFRP, AFRP, plates subjected to concentrated central load were conducted. The tests results showed that flexural stiffness of the beam are increased, and tensile strain at lower flange of the beam are released by use of bonding CFRP plates on lower flange.departmental bulletin pape

Current-Mode Controllable Second Order HPF Using the Switching
Get PDFapplication/pdfwe propose a current mode second order HPF which has the features of 2-FET composition between power supply voltages，the power-supply voltage of 1.5V，and adjustable ranges of Q and ω0 of ten times. Although continuous adjustment is possible，highly accurate voltage setting is necessary for this circuit because adjusting the bias voltage changes the values of Q and ω0. Voltage-Mode Biquad Filter with Controllable Q，ω0
Get PDFapplication/pdfIn this paper，we realize a high frequency Biquad circuit by using MOSFET with all the source terminals grounded，and we propose a voltage-mode Biquad filter with one input and three outputs whose Q，ωo are controllable by ten times. This circuit can be made to have a low power-supply voltage，therefore，we do not have to consider the influence of the substrate effect transmission conductance because all the source terminals of the circuit are grounded by the composition of a double MOSFET.
