    A study on Substitution for “Information Study I” by \n“Information Technology and Mathematical Science in Industry”

    application/pdf平成30年告示の高等学校学習指導要領において,共通教科情報科の科目は,共通必履修科目「情報Ⅰ」と選択科目「情報Ⅱ」に改訂された。一方,専門学科においては,専門教科・科目による必履修教科・科目の代替履修が認められており,多くの工業科では,同学習指導要領で新設された科目の「工業情報数理」で「情報Ⅰ」の代替履修が実施される。本研究では,「工業情報数理」による「情報Ⅰ」の代替履修に関して,それぞれの科目で育成する資質・能力,科目相互の目標や内容の関連を整理するとともに,広島県の工業科を設置する公立高等学校を対象に行った代替履修の実施状況に関する調査結果から,その実施上の課題を整理しながら考察した。departmental bulletin pape

    Melody generation by tracing leaves of trees

    application/pdfFor the purpose of developing core technologies for generating multimedia content that links movies to music, we have developed an automatic music composition system that links music with the traced motion of the leaves of trees depicted in CG. Digital signages and room interiors displaying movies with music are examples of the application of this technology. Using the network analysis tool “igraph”, we generated CG images of two branches with leaves. By tracing the leaves of the two CG branches, two series of notes with various pitches and durations, determined by the shapes of branches and leaves, were generated.     Utilization of cameras with GPS and LOG functions for building earthquake damage investigation

    application/pdfPhotograph images can be recorded with GPS (Global Positioning System)-based photo position information and electronic compass-based photo direction information and can be placed on a map (GIS: Geographic Information Systems) together with a survey LOG (history). If those functions can be easily used for earthquake damage surveys on buildings, it will save time and effort in organizing information after surveys, and it can be expected to provide useful information to other survey groups. It can also be used as a database to support subsequent further analyses. This has been a long-cherished dream for the authors, who must carry out on-site surveys in the event of a disaster. However, both the hardware and the software progress busily, and the latest technology is always in the situation to be replaced.     Implementation of a duration-variable LED _asher circuit on a mini breadboard and utilization in craft workshops

    Relationship between seismic performance and Microtremor measurement of Traditional Wooden Houses in Miyajima

    application/pdfMiyajima, located in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, was designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings last year. In this paper, it is shown that relationship between result of microtremor measurement and seismic diagnosis of buildings for clarifying the structural characteristics of Miyajima Machiya (Townhouse). As a result of seismic diagnosis, it is found that seismic performance in short direction of buildings has particularly weak. Forthermore, as a result of microtremor measurement, it is found that vibration characteristics of the ground differ depending on the location. For buildings, it is suggested that adjacent houses may have affected the natural frequency value.departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdf初等中等教育研究センターは,鶴学園の初等中等各校のニーズに応じて調整が可能な「瀬戸内海サイエンスクルーズ」と称した体験プログラムを開発し,2021年度から広島なぎさ高等学校の 1 年生を対象に展開している。生徒の乗船人数 4 〜 5 名程度のボートにて,広島湾の無人島や厳島の浦を巡り,地質や植生や環境などの観点からの観察や厳島の浦への上陸,ソナー,水中ドローン,BTB 溶液などを用いたアクティビティを盛り込んだ 3 時間程度のプログラムである。同校の参加生徒は,理科の授業で報告を行うこととなっている。本報告では,開発の経緯と実践の報告を2022年度の内容も加味して行い,2021年度に実施した参加者へのアンケート,ならびに報告発表を聞いた生徒の感想も踏まえ,プログラムを振り返る。departmental bulletin pape

    Basic concept for application of shared control authority law to actual Vehicle

    application/pdfShared control is a system that performs coordinated control in which the vehicle and the driver are integrated, and the steering input of the vehicle is automatically controlled by sharing the steering input from the driver and the steering input from the automatic driving system. Focusing on the steering power (steering torque × steering angular velocity) with steering torque as an independent variable, we adopted a method to gradually decrease the authority of automatic driving torque, which is a dependent variable. The use of steering power, which is the basis of the energy required for steering, is based on the findings of previous research and the steering angular velocity (across variable), which has a time dimension as a dual physical quantity treated in the physical function model, to express the agency of the driver more effectively and the steering torque (through variable), which does not have a time dimension, are dual, and the product of them is the steering power that expresses the time-series causality system.  In this paper, the feasibility of the override and the authority transition method for realizing shared control by experimental equipment.     On the foundation and the prospects of Bousaisi training course in Hiroshima Institute of Technology

    application/pdfDeveloping of human resources such as Bousaisi who can play an active role in the community for taking disaster prevention measures is one of the important missions of the Disaster Management Education and Research Center, Hiroshima Institute of Technology. Our center founded the Bousaisi training course, certi_cated by Japan Bousaisi Organization since February 2021, and held the training course by three times within a couple of years. In this paper, we report how to develop, to manage the course, and to participate local citizens against COVID-19 pandemic in recent years.     application/pdfThe 2nd Education and Research International Workshop of Electronic Devices, Circuits, Illuminations, and Systems was held on December 7, 2018 in Kure and December 8, 2018 Itsukaichi campus, Hiroshima Institute of Technology and in Fukuyama. The teachers and students of Hiroshima Prefectural Hiroshima Minami High School Health Nursing Department participated in this international workshop for the first time and gave poster presentations. For the next four years, at first it was just the students making presentations at the workshops, but by holding the workshops within the high school, we were able to manage the workshops with all the students in the department as well as the teachers and Hiroshima Institute of Technology.departmental bulletin pape
