    Evaluation of Dynamic Properties and Seismic Resistance of The RC Building \nBefore and After Retro_tting Based on Microtremor Measurements\n—Using The Main O_ce Building in Hiroshima Institute of Technology—

    application/pdfIn order to verify the seismic reinforcement e_ect to the RC building quantitatively, Microtremor measurement was carried out for the main building before and after the reinforcement and compared the dynamic characteristics derived from microtremors. As a result, natural frequencies estimated by the microtremor records before the seismic reinforcement are approximately 25~30% bigger than those estimated by these records after the seismic reinforcement. The results show that the reinforcement method signi_cantly increases the sti_ness of a RC building. Furthermore, this paper presents the Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system using Internet of Things (IoT) to improve for the earthquake disaster reduction and maintainability of buildings.departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdf高等学校の物理教育の目標に関して、モデリングという観点に着目し、フランスの高等学校の教科「物理・化学」の学習指導要領や国民教育省から出された資料における目標に関する記述と、同国の別教科「生命と地球の科学」や日本の学習指導要領での記述の違いを指摘しながら示唆を引き出した。物理・化学の目標として「実験」と「モデリング」を重要視することが 3 か年にわたって記述されていた。探究ないしは探求に相当する文言は一言も見いだされなかった。日本では教科理科として統一書式があり、科目の違いは内容に関する部分の差し替えであった。その他、高等教育に対する高等学校の位置づけに基づいた記述の違いも認められた。重要視する目標の違いを生み出す観点の一つとして、教科の括り、科目の括り方による違いを指摘し、高等学校という教育段階における教科理科と科目のありように対する問題提起を行った。departmental bulletin pape

    Creation of water electrolysis hydrogen generator and its application

    Measurement of Self-induced Jumping of Celt using IMU

    application/pdfFor experimental veri_cation of self-induced jumping shown by Batista's simulation[1], the authors have previously performed an analysis by using a high-speed camera. However, clear self-induced jumping couldn_t be observed. Next, we aimed to detect self-induced jumping by measuring the acceleration in the direction perpendicular to a desktop surface using an inertial measurement unit (IMU) BWT901. We analyzed the time variation of the acceleration component az_ perpendicular to a desktop surface under the assumption that the acceleration components due to roll, pitch, and spin are sufficiently smaller than the gravitational acceleration. As a result, signs of self-induced jumping could be observed although a clear jumping could not be detected.     Experiment study on push up sti_ness for steel beam by means of Joint-Plastic-Hinge

But in fact, the stress increases while bearing gentle slope after expressing full plastic endurance. And if we use FA rank members which satisfy limitation of width-thickness-ratio, local backling will occur by accumulating plastic deformation. Under the circumstances, we propose Beam-Joint-Plastic-Hinge and aim for improving the evaluation precision of plastic-hinge. In this study, we focus on keeping base materials elastic when we introduce Beam-Joint-Plastic-Hinge and explain the possibility loosens limitation of width-thickness-ratio.
