    application/pdf課題の所在や研究の意義を見出す文献調査には,どこからが未知の領域となる「科学の最前線」なのかを理解し,研究という行為を理解するなどの教育的な可能性があると考えられる。しかしながら,高等学校での「理科課題研究」の開設率は非常に低く,また探究活動は文献調査を行う研究ではない。|本論文では,文献調査という活動に焦点を当てた授業の開発を行った。文献調査の意味の理解や科学の最前線に触れることを目的とし,発泡スチロールを食し生分解すると発表されたミールワームの学術論文を事例として,中学校では新聞記事,高等学校ではこの論文のIntroductionそして引用文献のAbstractを用い,かつ調べ活動等を採り入れるなどした展開をした。中学校で1時間,高等学校で2時間の授業で学びの効果が得られることが明らかとなった。departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdfIn this paper, we consider the space area generated by an environment element, “the water”, with respect to the old Sizutani School constructed 300 years ago in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. Among many remains of the School, you can find drain facilities (stone fences, stone walls, waterways, underground drain) for disposing rainwater. When the rainwater start flowing, they create the repetition of stillness and movement of the water flow.     application/pdf計画系授業の到達点に位置付けられている「空間創造実習」では,宮島の玄関口である宮島口の景観形成による地域活性化を課題とした。授業では,学生が自主的に調査し最終的にはグループに分かれて計画案を提案するに至った。これは,行政のサポートを得ながら実際の地域で起こっている問題を調査し,その改善策を考えるといった「地域問題解決型」の演習を試み,創造能力を高める効果を確認した。課題の評価は,学生らに票を与え,グループごとに提出された作品に投票し,講評を行った。取り組み成果は,本学のオープンキャンパスで展示し,高い評価を得た。学生らの授業評価も,好評であった。departmental bulletin pape

    application/pdf日本における初等中等教育は教育基本法を教育の柱に据え,学習指導要領で示された教育方針や教育内容に従って,各学校で教育活動が実施されている。この学習指導要領は原則10年を目処に改訂が行われている。改訂の目的は時代の変化に対応した教育内容や指導方法等を示すことによって学校教育を充実させることにある。このような学習指導要領の存在と施行の仕組みは,日本特有の教育制度として有効に機能してきた。次期学習指導要領の改訂作業も終わり,平成32年度(2020)から順次施行される。次期学習指導要領への移行を円滑に進め,充実した教育活動につなげるためには,これまで行ってきた教育活動を見直し,問題点や課題を洗い出して改善策を講じる必要がある。これまでの学校教育の変遷を振り返り,次期学習指導要領に係る情報を手がかりにしながら,特別活動がこれから担うべき役割と位置づけ,取り組み内容等について考察した。departmental bulletin pape

But none of them is convincing. The Problem of Evil has an assumption, which is that God exists. One of the proofs of God’s existence is René Descartes’s Ontological Argument. But none of them is persuasive. Every logic has its own assumption, which needs to be verified. So this process of verification continues ad infinitum as an infinite regress. The Problem of Evil is not a problem but a pseudo-problem. So the Problem of Evil should be discussed as a matter of faith not a matter of logic.departmental bulletin pape

    Investigation of Tidal Current Energy Amount at the Oshima Ohashi Bridge Piers for Verification of Tidal Power Generation using Bridge Piers

    application/pdfFor the purpose of developing tidal power generation using bridge pier, we conducted tidal current observation and calculated the amount of energy that can be acquired by assuming the power generation facility specifications. As a result of the tidal current observation for the Oshima Ohashi bridge, the maximum power generation output shows a value of about 120 kW, and the maximum power generation amount of the day got about 330 kWh/day. This value is about one-third of the initial forecast, and the main reason for this is the fact that after the current was formed at the generator installation site due to the vortex generated at the upstream piers at the time of downward tide, It was suggested that it becomes smaller.departmental bulletin pape

An experiment notebook was specially designed for our students, which was named “HIT experiment notebook,” and began to be handed out from 2013 academic year.
