On the concepts about “garden” in articles by Sutemi Horiguchi
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of this paper is to examine Sutemi Horiguchi’s concepts about “garden” in “the non-urban in architecture”. In doing so, his ideas of dwellings will be clarified. Horiguchi aims for a dwelling which is equipped with “facility” suited to modern life and people feel an “attachment” for. However, “facility” and “attachment” are exact opposite to each other. Negativity of materials, such as fragility, returns people’s lives back to the essence and connects both of “facility”, “attachment”. Horuguchi adopts negativity of materials in dwellings. In doing so, he makes three contradicting concepts coexist: “flammable” material, “facility”, and “attachment”.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFapplication/pdf土木工学における『環境共生』に関する理解状況を把握する目的にて，環境土木工学科の1年次生を対象としたアンケート調査を実施した。調査は専門基礎共通科目である『基礎環境科学の授業』において実施し，まず，環境共生を学ぶことに対する学生のバックグラウンドを調査した。また，当該科目の受講前における環境に対する意識や，当該科目の主要項目に対する理解度について5段階で評価できる内容とした。その結果，環境について高い意識は持つものの，自然環境を構成する『生態系』や『環境共生技術』に関する知見が低い結果を得た。本結果をもとに，生態系と環境共生技術に関する理解を深める授業を実施し，その効果を把握するためのアンケート調査を実施した。調査の結果，生態系と環境共生技術に関する知見と理解が向上する成果を得たことで，環境土木工学科における環境分野の基礎教育の方向性について確認することができた。departmental bulletin pape

It is a toy that makes a strange motion that seems to be breaking a law of conservation of angular momentum. In this paper, we look back on the history of research on the spin reversal mechanism of the celt and consider the chirality causing spin reversal.
