A Practice Study on the health education intervention with health education newspaper for the students of institute of technology

えた学生は、前期末75.0%、後期末79.4% であった。体力水準は標準的であったが、バラつきが大きいことが特
徴であった。健康関連QOL の役割／社会的側面QOL サマリースコアは、国民標準に比較して低値を示した。
精神的健康度に関する下位尺度は、前期末に低値を示した。生活習慣は入学後に悪化する傾向が確認され、前
期に大きく悪化することが明らかになった。以上のことから、「HIT 健康教育新聞」を用いた実践的な健康教
育に対して多くの学生は肯定的にとらえているものの、実際の生活習慣の乱れに対する効果は限定的である可

the water meter with IoT equipment via the Internet using the Sigfox network. In addition, Create
an IoT device using Sigfox, receive the data transmitted from the device with ThinSpeak, calculate
with Matlab / Simulink, and display the result on the smartphone via ThingSpeak. In the future, I

Comparison of Evaluation Results Between Multiple-Choice Testing and Description Type Testing:Linear Algebra Case
Get PDFapplication/pdfUsing the LCT (learning check testing) results in the follow-up program system, we have shown
that we can predict the students’ future results of success/failure to the final examination with
a probability to some extent. However, we also anticipate that we may not be able to enhance a
certain level of prediction accuracy for evaluation because the description type questions and
their evaluations to the final examinations depend on two or more teachers resulting unfair scores
although the LCT provides the multiple-choice questions and the evaluations are performed
automatically using computers. We had a chance to perform such a CBT using the multiplechoice
questions and the automatic evaluations. Thus, in this paper, we investigate whether such
a prediction is correct or not. Amazingly, there may be no differences of the results between the
description type examination and multiple-choice testing in terms of the correlation coefficients. The

Success/Failure Prediction for Final Examination Using the LCT Results and FPT Results
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe author proposed a prediction method to find students at drop-out risks as early as possible by
using the learning check testing (LCT) results, where the nearest-neighbor method was used to find
the similarity of the cumulative LCT ability trends in the previous paper. Even if we use almost
the first half of the LCT results, we can predict the failed students in final examinations. However,
the predicted failed students covered the half of the actual failed students. In this paper, to raise
the prediction accuracy for finding the students at risk, we added another information, the follow-up
program testing (FPT) results via the FPT points defined here. Using this FPT point information
and the LCT ability trends together, we can predict the students at risk with higher prediction
accuracy than that when we only use the LCT ability trends.departmental bulletin pape
On Fluctuation of Score of Examination
Get PDFapplication/pdfComparing the results of placement tests and final exams performed in a class, it has been
common to see the whole aspect and investigate the correlation between them. It seems that little
has been studied whether useful information can be obtained. In other words, the scores xi and yi
of the student i in the class are only the simultaneous samples of the random variables X and Y,
and the relationship between xi and yi was not deeply investigated. However, a score of student A is
governed by A’s ability and proficiency level, and it is normal to think that there will be bounded
fluctuations. In other words, the range of variation of xi is not defined in the domain of X, but is
more limited. In this paper we pursue such a matter.
By doing this, it is possible to observe fluctuations in test scores under various conditions, which
cannot be eliminated due to the form of the test (descriptive or multiple choice) among teachers. It
is also possible to extract variations due to teaching manners of teachers. Here, the basic idea to

の内容についてNathan 社の教科書を軸に、日本の理科２ 分野、保健体育そして家庭分野の教科書との比較を
行った。内容的には保健体育や家庭分野と重なるものもあったが、深め方や説明のアプローチは科学そのもの
であって、日本の保健体育や家庭分野が扱っている「心」や「文化」といった視点は全くないことが確認された。
性教育にかかわる内容での避妊方法や、不妊症への対応などは具体的で踏み込んだ内容となっており、日本の
保健体育ですら扱っていない。日本の理科と比べて広範囲な内容を扱い、学習指導要領に「分子レベルまで」
深めることが要求されていることに則り、神経伝達の扱いや微生物に関する扱い、脳の扱いなど、いずれも日
本の理科では扱われていない内容でありかつ深い視点で切り込まれていることなどを明らかにした。そして、
人間がヒトの扱いに留まる「生物Biologie」ではなく「生命の科学Sciences de la vie」の名にふさわしい特徴

Learning Analytics: Relationships Among LCT Point, LCT Ability, HIT Point, and Term-end Examination Score
Get PDFapplication/pdfLCT (learning check testing) was first aimed at identifying students who may fail in the termend
examination. However, LCT was applied to all freshman students, which means that students
who got higher scores could be identified at early stages in testing. Thus, we use this proactively
in turn. To find such smart students, we have constructed an acceleration tool, called LCT point.
Students get a one point when all the answers are correct in a test; in addition, consecutive perfect
results bear bonus point increasing exponentially. In this paper, using accumulated LCT results, we
have investigated LCT points. Moreover, the relationships among other information, such as LCT

A study on the underground facilities in the former Kure Naval Base
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe former Kure Naval Base has located at present site of Headquarters of Kure District, Japan
Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). Recently, two underground facilities constructed by the
Imperial Japanese Navy are discovered at the site and investigation of the facilities’ inside started in
2017. Several historical documents and drawings were found, and it is considered that these facilities
seem to be used as a telephone exchange facility and an air defense center. In this paper, several
drawings and photos of these facilities are shown, and it is clarified that structures and history of
these bunkers. Because of the British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF) have occupied Kure
area from 1946 to 1952 and the Australian Army was the main force of BCOF, a lot of historical
photos of Kure city are archived at the Australian War Memorial (AWM). Several photos of the
facilities are discovered in the AWM’s collection and also shown in this paper.departmental bulletin pape

not only for measures against global warming, but also from the viewpoints of securing energy
security, building independent and distributed energy systems, creating new industries and jobs.
In this research, we constructed a preliminary educational system that can confirm the operation
of hydrogen sensor, water electrolysis, LED lighting using fuel cell and so on. In addition, examples
of fuel cells, microgrids, and Rankine cycles provided by Mathworks were introduced, and future
