Horizontal loading tests of wooden framed walls for earthquake-resistant improvement using short diagonal members – Part 2 –
Get PDFapplication/pdfA horizontal loading test to the wooden framed wall using short diagonal members was carried
out. The test specimens were made of three sets of crossed diagonal members, in order to use
earthquake-resistant improvement of the existing houses. The diagonal members bear only
compression force and are expected to perform axial ductility. Two test specimens, each having a
distance between column centers of 910 mm (1P) and 1,820 mm (2P), were prepared, and the load
capacities were examined for difference due to the distance. The load at the specific deformation
of 1/120rad story-drift in elastic region and the ultimate load considering plastic region are
comparable, consequently the wall gives good performance in earthquake resistant improvement.
The wall load-magnification was 2.22 and 2.03 for the 1P and 2P specimens, respectively. The
partial breakage of tie-plates at the middle crossing members led to load drop, when the story-drift
angle exceeded 1/50 rad.departmental bulletin pape

doing so, the development of the compositional characteristics in his early residential works will be
clarified. In his compositional characteristics I focus on floor composition and volumecomposition. At
the same time, I study the relation of the parts to the whole. The parts and thewhole of “KOIDETEI”
conflict with each other in floor composition and volume composition. They’re not related. The parts
and the whole of “SHIENSOU” balance each other in floor composition and volume composition. He
related them. Horiguchi gained a perspective in which he dealt with the relationship between floor

Learning Analytics:Relationships Among Identity, PROG, and Placement Test Score

Findings are the following: 1) there are no relationships between identity and PROG, 2) there are no
relationships between identity and transcripts of students such as GPA or placement test, 3) there
are no relationships between PROG competency and placement test score, but we can observe that
there is a relationship between PROG literacy and placement test score, 4) there are no differences
regarding identity and PROG competency between enrolled students who took paper entrance
examinations and who were recommended by high school principals and did not take paper

Research for Static, Dynamic Stability of vehicle Analysis using the Bicycle model and Phase plane

of vehicle stability. This paper describes that the definition of static stability and dynamic stability
and generating mechanism of these stability. This analysis using state plane shows that the state
vector made by planer half model expressing the stable or unstable conditions. This analysis result
is able to define that the static stable or unstable, dynamic stable or unstable corresponding to
pole placement of vehicle characteristics equation. Also it shows that dynamic instability for OS
vehicle is not defined. This result will bring out that design the stability margin to distinguish
static stability and dynamic stability at important process to design the control law for the active

will be plausible. But if children understand meanings of sentences using extra-linguistic factors,

A Study about war remains in Rijo-castle
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe anti-aircraft strategy operation room, which used to be a facility of the old Japanese army
and still exists in the precincts of Rijo-Castle, is a structure exposed to radiation in 1945 when the
atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. This structure has never been used since the end of World
War II, and has become decrepit. No official documents of the structure remain, and the details of
its present condition are not known well.
These facilities were also investigated the current year following fiscal year 2016. (1) made a
drawing of the anti-aircraft war room more in-depth than an investigation, the interior where a
crack around the ceiling of the approach structure in the anti-aircraft war room where was found
newly was used, (2) the underground utility was checked around the anti-aircraft war room, related
literature search was performed, in fiscal year 2015 the current year.
This structure was in Rijo-Castle, so all one which exists in Rijo-Castle couldn't change the
current state for a historical site, so it was to investigate in the area which can be done by nondestruction.
It's clear from an investigation that deterioration continues, and it's recommended that several
ways will be taken for the preservation and some good use in the future. It'll be expected also to

Simulation of rotating sound field excited by flexural vibration rings

applications. To produce the traveling wave in the ring as the sound source, two standing waves
excited both spatially and temporally orthogonal to each other should be superimposed in the ring
using two or more transducers. However, excitation of the ideal distribution of the standing wave
with multiple transducers, identical to the natural vibration mode of the ring, is difficult. This
paper presents a numerical simulation of rotating sound field excited by flexural vibration rings, in
