    Research on Steering Haptic to realize Shared Control

    application/pdfAlthough the final goal of this research is sharing control, which transitions between automatic driving and manual driving with the driver’s intention, this time we focused on the steering feel of the SBW system during that transition. We have verified the feasibility by the research that a steering reaction force generation control law that allows the user to intuitively understand the intention of the vehicle added information such as the vehicle states side and Road Information to the steering reaction force on the SBW system. In the future, driver assistance technologies that will evolve that autonomousdriving vehicles will be familiar to the driver, will make the driver assistance vehicle or the autonomous vehicle a receptive mobility in a society where senior drivers are increasing. We would perform a simulation to verify the feasibility of Haptic adding the Road Information, therefore we would report these valuable results.departmental bulletin pape

    Development and practical use of an intuitive hands-on teaching aid for craft projects

    application/pdfAn intuitive craft project teaching aid was devised for use in hands-on programs for elementary school students at a university. This was done to impart an intuitive understanding of the fun, interest, and amazement of craft projects and physical phenomena, and to spark motivation and curiosity for subsequent self-directed learning. The teaching aid comprised a polarization plate and various materials with birefringence, and was crafted by each student into an original name tag which exhibits flickering color. Another unique feature of the aid is that it can be enjoyed by using things like smartphones and liquid crystal displays which employ polarization, and the fact that it appears at first glance to be transparent. This teaching aid was used in Project Based Learning (PBL) activities organized by university students, and found to initiate a virtuous cycle of self-directed activity leading to evident improvement in general resourcefulness as a person.departmental bulletin pape

    How Students Feel the LCT Points

    application/pdfLCT (learning check testing) was first aimed at identifying students who may fail in the term-end examination. However, LCT was applied to all freshman students, which means that students who got higher scores could be identified at early stages in testing. Thus, we use this proactively in turn. To find such smart students, we have constructed an acceleration tool, called LCT point. Students get a one point when all the answers are correct in a test; in addition, consecutive perfect results bear bonus point increasing exponentially.     application/pdf中央集権型の教育制度をとる国において、国民教育の最後の共通教育の場として科学的リテラシーといった 教育の側面と、世界的な競争に資する理系人材の育成という観点を後期中等教育でどのように実現するかとい う課題に対する最適解はどのようにあるべきか。日本と同様に中央集権型の教育制度を採るフランスの高等学 校の現行の物理教育の学習指導要領は、この課題に対する特徴ある内容の構成を行なった。すなわち、高校1 年でのテーマ設定、情報の抽出と活用というコンピテンスの下、所謂理系として求められる内容の知識・理解 に比重をおいた高校2 、3 年での「観察する」「理解する」「行動する」といった括り方、深化した学びのため の専門の教育という枠組みの設定などである。しかしながら、実際の展開では、配当時間削減の影響も大きく、 現場の教員ならびに高等教育関係者からも批判を得るなどおおよそ成功した事例とはならなかった。この事例 の特徴と評価を踏まえて、物理内容の取捨選択に求められる視点、相応の内容を扱うために求められる配当時 間の必要性を指摘し、理科という傘と各科目の関係を捉える示唆を引き出した。departmental bulletin pape

This study targets 1 to 7 (excluding 5) of “Kikutake Kiyonori / Works and Methods” included in “Architecture” published by SEIDOUSYA. As a method, I will look at the way Kikutake perceived “human being” in his discourses about design hypothesis.     Construction Age of Red-Brick Warehouses in the Former Kure Naval Base

    application/pdfThe former Kure Naval Base is one of important base of the Imperial Japanese Navy before the end of the World War II. A lot of buildings and structures were constructed by the Navy around Kure city and some of them are now remain. Inside of present site of Headquarters of Kure District, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), there are many historic buildings which constructed before the end of the WWII and red-brick warehouses which remained in the base are one of it.  In this paper, it is certified that three red-brick warehouses at JMSDF Kure base have built in 1900 by using some historical photos and documents. Several cracks in brick wall are found and it is clarified that the cracks are occurred by an earthquake in 1905. This brick buildings have historical value and it is needed to be conserved as cultural properties for the future.departmental bulletin pape

If Harris is right, then we will need telementation and a fixed code for speech circuit to be realized in linguistic communication. But Harris insists that it is doubtful whether telementation and a fixed code are plausible for successful communication. Nevertheless, this assumption has been passed on since ancient times down to the present day in various forms.
