Spin Inversion Angle Measurement in the Stationary Coordinate System of Celt with Controlled Initial Angular Velocity
application/pdfセルトの初期角速度(初速)が変わっても、反転するまでの回転角(反転角)は変化せず一定であることが理論的に示されている[7]。しかし実験では確認されておらず実験的検証が望まれている。そこで我々はセルトの初速と反転角との関係の実験的検証を目指して実験系の構築を行った。初速の制御のために、新たにランチャーおよびランチャー駆動装置ならびに初速制御装置の開発を行った。またスピン角速度の解析にはフリーソフトのkinovea を用いて静止座標系動画像から解析を行う方法を採用した。これらにより、初速制御されたセルトの静止座標系におけるスピン反転角測定が可能になった。測定の結果、短周期角速度変動を伴ってスピン反転する様子を捉えることができた。departmental bulletin pape
A study on resisting mechanism of plastic-hinge developed by stick-slip of high-strength-bolts-connection

The stress increases while bearing gentle slope after expressing full plastic endurance. As above, the separation between the evaluate and the actual behavior is a problem of present structures. In this study, we study plastic-hinge developed by stick-slip of high-strength-bolts-connection to match the actual behavior and full perfect elastoplasticity type behavior. Steganographic Image Compression Method with Adaptive Enhancement Code Embedding and Its Performance Evaluation on 4K Standard Test Images
application/pdfWe have studied a steganographic image compression algorithm that embeds special codes (i.e., enhancement codes) in the encoder, and extracts these codes in the decoder to reconstruct full-resolution image. The compressed codestream from the encoder also can be decoded by standard JPEG decoder even though the resolution of reconstructed image decreases by half, so that this encoder has backward compatibility with JPEG. In embedding enhancement codes into lower DCT coefficients, there is an upper limit for the amount of codes (i.e., payload) in order to make the distortion by bit-embedding as small as possible. Although the conventional algorithm employs the constant number of scans of higher DCT coefficients to create the enhancement codes, it appears to be a bottleneck for DCT blocks that allow enough room in the payload. We propose an adaptive determination method of the enhancement codes based on the payload of each DCT block while conforming to the specifications of JPEG. This method effectively utilizes the payload in all the DCT blocks, so the quality improvement of the reconstructed image is expected. Moreover, we propose an HVS-based order rather than zigzag scan order for embedding the enhancement codes in hope of alleviating the distortion due to bit-replacement. As a result of evaluation with four 4K standard test images, the adaptive method can increase the amount of enhancement codes, and this leads to SNR improvement in comparison to the conventional constant method. application/pdf広島工業大学では2020年4月より新教育プログラム「HIT.E?2024」をスタートさせた。カリキュラムでは、履修生が1・2年次で学ぶ主要科目の授業内容を着実に理解し、単位取得できるように支援する「フォローアッププログラム(FP)」が実施される。建築工学科でFPの対象となる建築環境工学では、室内の衛生性や快適性を保全するために主に熱・湿気、空気、音、光の4分野の物理環境を評価し、人体感覚との関係を理解することが求められ、広範囲な物理学の知識が応用される。本論では、履修生の高校での理科教育の履修状況と、求められる授業外支援についてアンケートを行い、建築環境工学の理解に必要なフォローアップを検討する。departmental bulletin pape

application/pdf五日市駅前では放置自転車が多く、撤去台数も多い。近隣の福屋五日市店店舗前の歩道での違法駐輪が目立つため、福屋営業時間内のみ防災用スペースに駐輪を黙認しているが、解決策とは言えない。本研究では、放置自転車をシェアサイクルの自転車として再利用することで放置自転車の削減及び駐輪場の有効的活用方法を見つけ誰もが利用しやすいシェアサイクルを提案することを目的とし、シェアサイクル実現のための基礎的研究を行った。
本研究では、五日市駅を起点としたシェアサイクルと想定し、通学する本学学生と、同駅からの通勤者とのマッチングにより効果が得られることを確認した。departmental bulletin pape
Fabrication of IoT with built-in ozone sensor and its application
application/pdfToday, the coronavirus is spreading all over the world and is becoming a big problem. Under such circumstances, the inactivation of coronavirus using ozone has been reported. We have also installed a Sigfox antenna at Hiroshima Institute of Technology and have been developing IoT devices via the Internet using the Sigfox network. In this study, we report that we have succeeded in displaying data on computer using Sigfox by installing an ozone concentration measuring device that contributes to coronavirus inactivation in an IoT device. In the future, I would like to aim to build an educational system that can be used for practical training and practical training using teaching materials.departmental bulletin pape
Review of HIT - IE-BAS joint research during the last 25 years
application/pdfThe Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Hiroshima Institute of Technology (EC-HIT) started the international joint research with the Laboratory “Physical Problems of Elec-tron Beam technologies” of the Institute of Electronics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IEBAS) in 1994. More than 30 papers, included a book chapter, were published by implementing the international joint research under 7 Agreements for Academic Cooperation and Exchange between HIT and IE-BAS. Our international joint research is getting the important position in joint research between Japan and Bulgaria. The semiconductor fabrication process such as thin film deposition, Electron and Ion Lithography, Etching, Ion implantation, Plasma treatment, etc., evaluation technique such as X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy, optical spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, etc., and their simulation technology were used for application in industry, medical service, medicine manufacture, biotechnology, dental, etc. By providing further steps for developing and extending our bilateral relations, this research partnership between the Hiroshima Institute of Technology and the Institute of electronics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences can become more stable in the future.departmental bulletin pape
