Abstract; Fragmentation of lotic habitat by a drought is assumed to intercept the longitudinal movement 
of organisms and alter the community structure of them. In this study, we compared the community structure 
of freshwater animals between upstream and downstream of intermittent reach caused by human activities, in 
order to reveal the impacts of drought on spatial distribution of stream fish and invertebrates. We also aimed 
to describe fauna established in intermittent reaches of Shigenobu River. Obvious influence of droughts was 
not observed for the community structure of fish and invertebrates. In contrast, spatial distribution of some 
dominant invertebrate taxa was seemed to be altered by droughts. However, there remains a possibility that 
effects of physicochemical habitat condition were more important than influence of a drought on 
invertebrates.

Abstract: Students have failure experiences in the project-based learning but they do not profess their experiences. On 
the other hand, failures and accidents, in the industrial world, are analyzed frequently, and a knowledge data base on failure 
and QC activities have been introduced. To turn failure experience in education to advantage, the authors survey the 
properties of failures in projected based learning and views of students, teachers and managers of design divisions in 
companies. Teachers and students regard failure experiences as instructive and acceptable. The typical causes of failure in 
educational institutions are luck of skill in manufacturing and inadequate planning, which are minor causes of failure in the 
industry. To establish a knowledge data base on failure in educational institutions, properties of failure in education should 
be taken into account.

埋蔵文化財と図書館 
  
下條信行 
 僕が学んだ大学図書館には小振りながら
も考古品の陳列館が分館として併設されて
いた。そこには，大正時代から敗戦までの
間に集められた実物資料の断片がたいした
飾り立てや解説などなく，遺物名・出土地・
時代などの最低情報が記されているだけの
素朴なものであった。だが，その存在感は
強烈なものであった。その資料が弥生時代
研究の歩みを語る学史的資料であることも
あるが，最低の情報しかないのでそれを理
解するにはこちら側の調べる努力が必要で
あった。しかしその姿勢さえ有れば，無料
で何時でも必要な時に手軽に観察できる身
近な資料であり，判らないことが有れば，
あるいは少し判ればたちどころに再確認で
きる，いって見れば三食のご飯茶碗のよう
に近しい座右の資料として存在していたか
らである。その後大学を出，勤め先での最
初の仕事はある政令都市の歴史資料館の立
ち上げで，これを嚆矢に以来各地の資料館
博物館の展示，新聞社の巡回展展示などに
多数関わってきた。その間は展示バブルの
時代でもあったので，ある程度潤沢な資金
もあり，その結果美しくも煌びやかな仕立
てと，サービス過剰かと思えるほどの豊富
な分かり易い解説を提供できた。 
 
 
それは展示技術，手法，デザインの謳歌で
あるが，一方，資料はそれの陰に隠れ，希
薄な存在となった印象は拭えない。この華
やかな展示は宣伝や入場客の増加に寄与し
たかもしれないが，決して入場者の探求心
や思考力の向上に作用したとは言えない。
そこに某かの空虚感が残る。資料への姿勢
の違いが人によっては同じ資料でもリアリ
ティの差として迫ってくるのだ。その小陳
列館もいまや存在しない。大学博物館に吸
収されたのならそれも一つのあり方かもし
れない。 
さて，大学図書館と埋蔵文化財となれば，
もっとも近しいのは図書類であろう。これ
には二種あって，その一つは考古学関係の
啓蒙書，概説書，入門書類であり，愛媛大
学図書館にもある程度は備えられている。
他の一種は発掘調査報告書である。これは
日本各地で毎年大量に出版されているが，
行政の出版物であることが多いため，市販
されることが少なく，図書館と雖も手に入
れることは難しい。ところがこの報告書こ
そオリジナルな情報が満載されており，考

古学研究は先ずこれを手がかりに行う。大
学でのその入手はもっぱら考古学研究室や
個人への寄贈に拠っている。ただ，報告書
でも戦前出版物や戦後でも絶版貴重書が時
に復刻販売されることがあるが，これくら
いは長期に保有される基本書として図書館
に備えて欲しいものだ。さて最後になるが，
実物や図書ではどうしても伝えにくい考古
情報がある。発掘は日々の発掘によって見
いだした変化の過程を記録するのが仕事で
あるが，これが一連の動作でありながらあ
えて分断してペーパーとして記録している。
一連の動作を記録するには映像に優るもの
はなく，その動きや発見の感動も一番活写
される。これを教室で短時間で伝えるのは
難しいが，いろいろビデオやＣＤ，ＤＶＤ
も市販されているので図書館のブースに是
非常置したらいかがであろうか。各施設や
組織は機能分担しつつ，それを有機的に総
合化を図るのが得策かと思える。

論文・レポートの作成方法              
 
テーマを選択し，そこに自分の視点や論点を
入れて再構築する作業が論文・レポートの作
成です。 
① テーマの選択 
・与えられたテーマをより具体的なテー 
マに絞り込む。 
・自分の視点や論点を定める。 
② 資料・文献を集める 
・図書や雑誌から文献を集めると何が問
題か見えてくる。 
・自分のテーマが絞られてくる。 
③ レポート・論文の執筆 
・自分の主張を最初にもってくる。 
・レポートの中心点をはっきりさせる。 
④ レイアウトを工夫する 
・段落の取り方や引用の表現方法に注意
する。 
⑤ 論文・レポートの提出 
・インターネット上のエチケットを守る。

愛媛大学図書館企画展 2007 を開催 
 
愛媛大学図書館では，地域文化に関心
を持ってもらうべく，７月 27 日から 8 月
5 日まで，教育学部・法文学部・地域創成
研究センター共催で，愛媛大学図書館企
画展 2007「“一枚摺り”の世界 －相撲
番付・芝居番付・長者番付－ ～遠田家
文書から～ 」を開催しました。 
本企画展は，地域開放事業の一環とし
て，平成17年度から開催しているもので，
今年度は“一枚摺り”（いちまいずり）に
スポットライトを当てました。“一枚摺
り”とは，浮世絵や番付など一枚物の印
刷物で，Ａ２程度の一枚の紙に必要な情報
が詰め込まれており，当時の情報発信を偲 
ばせる貴重な資料です。愛媛大学図書館に
寄託されている「遠田家文書」には，江戸
末期から明治期までの伊予に関わる「一枚
摺り」が多く，特別展示品を含め 25 点の
資料を展示，開催期間中に延べ 200 人が
訪れました。また，7 月 29 日には，梅花
女子大学短期大学部 荻田清教授を講師
とした講演・シンポジウムを開催し，会
場は 120 人を超える参加者で超満員とな
り，熱いディスカッションが繰り広げら
れ，参加者からは，企画展が来年度以降
も引き続き開催されることを期待する声

大学評価学会第４回全国大会  
学術情報チーム 土出郁子 
 
3 月 17-18 日，龍谷大学大宮学舎で開か
れた大学評価学会の全国大会に出席させて
いただいた。この学会は「大学評価および
関連分野の研究および普及」，「大学評価に
関する内外の学会その他の団体との協力」
などを目的として 2004 年に設立された。全
国大会は年 1 回行われ，全国から大学評価
に関わる先生方が参集される。１日目はシ
ンポジウム，２日目は分科会であった。紙
面の都合上，分科会の詳しい内容紹介は「大
学評価学会通信」第 13 号に譲り，全体の感
想のみここにご報告申しあげる。 
シンポジウム・分科会とも非常に多岐に
亘る内容で活発な議論が尽くされた。個人
的には，普段深く考える機会の少ない「大
学の方針・在り方」「大きな枠組みにおける
大学図書館の位置や役割」について考える
貴重な機会であったと思う。総括討論では，
現在の大学評価の仕組み自体を評価してい
くことが必要であるとまとめられ，今大会
の副題「大学評価の多様性を目指して」に 
 
  
 
 
 
つなげられた。大学評価の多様性とは，大
学の独自性や在り方を正しく評価できるよ
うな仕組みであると思う。 
そのような仕組みのもとで，自分の大学 
の在り方について構成員全体で議論して 
いくことの重要性を感じている。
