    This research deals with the improvement of a framework able to detect and read cyber threats in actual time. Using synthetic intelligence strategies inclusive of gadget mastering and deep getting to know, the gadget tries to recognize anomalies and suspicious patterns of ability cyber assaults. The major additives of the proposed gadget are data series mechanisms, facts preprocessing modules, machine learning fashions for chance detection, and a warning mechanism.     Pedal Based Hand Washing Machine with Water Level Indicator

    The rate of increase in the spread of communicable diseases in our society necessitated the need for an efficient mechanism to provide proper hygiene. Hand hygiene is the most effective means of preventing the spread of these diseases. Therefore, this study presents the development of a pedal based hand washing machine for the sole purpose of hand washing. The proposed system incorporates the standard mechanical hand washing machine with digital water level indicator. The mechanical part of the system employed the use of primer pumps attached to the foot pedals to dispense water and soap through different outlets. In addition, an Arduino based water level indicator which comprises of ultrasonic sensor and liquid-crystal display (LCD) is utilized to display the amount of water present in the reservoir. The developed system is easy to operate and can function under any weather condition

    Effect of Kagan Cooperative Learning Structures on Learning Achievement: An Experimental Study

    This study aimed to explore the effect of Kagan cooperative learning structures in enhancing the learning achievement of the Bhutanese students in learning chemistry. This was experimental research, pretest – posttest control group design. A total of 76 higher secondary students from Daga Central School participated in this research. Samples were obtained through purposive sampling. The participants were divided into two groups namely, control group (n = 38) and experimental group (n = 38). The Experimental group was taught using Kagan cooperative learning structures whereas control group was taught using conventional method (lecture method) for four weeks. Achievement test were administered before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed by computing means, standard deviations and t-test. The results of the study showed statistically significant difference in achievement between groups taught using Kagan cooperative learning structures and those taught via conventional method with moderate effect size (d = 0.63), suggesting Kagan cooperative learning structures as effective pedagogical approach in learning chemistry in Bhutanese higher secondary schools

    The Perceptions on Usage of Electronic Fiscal Devices among Small Business Owners in Tanzania

    the use of Electronic Fiscal Devices (EFDs) appears to be a current innovation that is broadly promoted for effective revenue collection not only in Tanzania but also in worldwide. This study examined the perceptions on usage of electronic fiscal devices among small business owners in Tanzania. The study adopted cross-sectional survey research design whereby primary and secondary data were used. The population applied on the 152 small business owners (small restaurants owners). The sample size of the study was 110 small restaurants owners. Dodoma City was purposively sampled to be used as a study area of this research and random sampling procedure was used to pick small restaurants owners in Dodoma City. Results revealed that EFDs usage in term of number of years among small restaurants owners was positively and significantly influenced by perceived usefulness of EFDs and perceived ease of use respectively; with P- Value of 0.0439. The study recommends that the government is advised to resolve the dependence challenge of EFDs on electricity, to develop sustained training and taking required measures for the learner restaurants to ensure that they observe rules and regulations mostly on the use of EFDs but not limited to tax compliance only

    Machine Learning Approach in Predicting Treatment Response in Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder

    Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD) presents unique challenges due to its complex and heterogeneous nature, often leading to varied treatment responses. This exploratory study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of a machine learning model for predicting treatment response in individuals diagnosed with EUPD. The research was conducted by a clinical psychologist with expertise in machine learning and treatment outcome analysis. Retrospective clinical data from 15 individuals diagnosed with EUPD were analyzed using advanced machine-learning techniques. Demographic information, clinical assessment, and treatment history served as predictors of treatment response. Supervised learning algorithms, including random forest and neural networks, were employed to identify patterns and relationships within the data. Cross-validation and bootstrapping techniques enhanced the models’ performance and generalizability. The sample consisted of 15 individuals with EUPD who had received treatment and had comprehensive records available. Ethical guidance was strictly followed, with informed consent obtained and participant privacy protected through rigorous anonymization procedures. The data was stored to maintain confidentiality. Treatment response was assessed using outcome measures such as symptom improvement, remission rates, and quality of life evaluations. The machine learning model aimed to identify predictors of treatment success and provide insights into the complex dynamics influencing treatment outcomes. The results indicated the development of a promising predictive model with preliminary accuracy. The model showed potential in predicting treatment response, offering initial guidance for clinicians in obtaining treatment planning and enhancing patient well-being. While the sample size was limited, the exploratory study contributes to the growing precision of the mental health care field. It underscores the feasibility of utilizing machine learning to personalize interventions for individuals with EUPD

The trade and commerce between central Asia and western world has taken placed through ancient silk routs passing through Hazara region. The ancient Silk Route was an ancient trade route, linking China with the West, that carried goods and ideas between the two great civilizations of Rome and China in the past. The recent economic project, China Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) between Pakistan and China also aims to develop trade and diplomatic links through overland route that connects Kashgar-China and Gwadar-Pakistan. The purpose of this trade route is to enhance geographical linkages which will focus on an improved transportation system, promoting people to people contact through academic, cultural and knowledge activity.CPEC envisages regional connectivity, will not only benefit China and Pakistan but will have a positive impact on Iran, Afghanistan, India, and the Central Asian republics. CPEC is considered as a game changer for Pakistan’s economy due to having positive impacts on many economic factors. It has great impact of tourism factor that is becoming a key source of income and employment today, in Pakistan like many others countries of the world.     Identification and mapping of flood prone zones and drainage blocked areas in Owerri municipal

    Flood is one of the most serious environmental disaster influencing the developing countries of the world. It is a body of water which rises and overflow the land surface. The aim of the study is to identify and map for prone areas in Owerri owing block drainage routes by using remote sensing and GIS. The study was also designed to predict the flow of runoff in the study area using digital elevation model (DEM). Ground information was also observed during field visit to ascertain the accuracy of the study. The primary and secondary dataset were utilized in the study to achieve the aim of the study. The ArcGIS 10.4 software was the major software adopted for the study, for geospatial analysis and for map preparation. The topographic map adopted for the study was from SRTM digital elevation model, which was acquired from the USGS Earth Explorer website. The spatial analyst tool in the ArcGIS software was utilized for extracting the study area surface contours within the SRTW digital elevation model (DEM). The hydrological spatial analysis was observed with the DEM of Owerri municipal, for generating the drainage routes in the study area. The DEM of the study area was analyzed for the prediction of the flow of the runoff. The results of the study shows that GIS and Remote Sensing can be used for the identification of obstacles which can hinder the drainage system that exist within the study area

    Alexis de Tocqueville, the nineteenth century French thinker of liberal democracy, claimed that political liberty expressed in the freedom of the press, freedom of association, the rule of law and decentralisation are the bulwarks against despotism, individualism and the tyranny of the majority which are obstacles to democratic growth in any country. This paper discusses Tocqueville’s psychology by surveying the level of adherence of citizens of Francophone West African countries of Benin and Togo to hisgeneralisation. Two emerging multiparty liberal democracies which are practicing the semi- presidential systems and the French bureaucratic model in francophone West Africa, Republic of Benin, Republic of Togo and Niger Republic, were purposively selected for the survey. In each country five hundred copies of the questionnaire were administered to purposively selected members of the civil society in order to seek their opinion n on the rule of law, press freedom, freedom of association and decentralization in their respective countries.
