Effects of d-allose on anti-brain edema effects and reduction of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-6 in the water intoxication model
Get PDF香川大学Kagawa University博士（医学）Background: Rare sugars, which exist only in very small quantities in nature, have recently attracted attention for their various biological functions in medicine. Among them, d-allose is known to have cytoprotective effects by antioxidant effects. In this study, we investigated whether the antioxidant effects of d-allose reduce brain edema in a water intoxication model of cytotoxic brain edema. Methods: Mice were injected intraperitoneally with distilled water (10% of body weight) to create a model of brain edema. d-allose was administered orally at 400mg/kg 30min before the model was created. Two hours later, the degree of brain edema was measured by the dry-weight method to determine whether d-allose reduced brain edema. As an index of antioxidant effects, we measured changes over time in inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-6) induced by the water intoxication model, and whether d-allose reduced inflammatory cytokines 4h after model creation. Results: Administration of d-allose significantly suppressed brain edema formation of the water-intoxication model. And it significantly reduced inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin-6). These results suggest that the antioxidant effect of d-allose exerts an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces brain edema.doctoral thesi

Co-Creation of “Value-in-Context” in High-Quality Service : A Case Study
No full text生活総合支援企業「株式会社クラッシー」を事例に取り上げ，高品質なサービスを標準化しながらも，模倣困難な強みを維持しつづけ提供する事業の仕組みを，サービス・ドミナント・ロジック（SDL）で解説した。Although the co-creation of value in high-quality service improves quality, it sometimes entails the risk of losing intangible knowledge, which constitutes a company’s competitive advantage. Therefore, a mechanism in which value is strategically co-created without the loss of strength is needed. We conducted a case study using the framework of Service-dominant logic to clarify the mechanism of value co-creation in high-quality service. The study found four kinds of operant resources with different functions in a micro-level ecosystem, which showed the co-creation of “value-in-context” in high-quality service. The value co-creation was achieved through a highly standardized but systematically allowed moderate level of humanistic dependency under shared values. This scheme is a mechanism for co-creating intangible knowledge, a competitive advantage that is difficult to imitate. The contribution of this study is that it presented a case of how the co-creation of “value-in-context” is achieved within a service ecosystem through multiple operant resources with different functions.book par

Many participants, possessing expertise in closely related fields, actively engaged in in-depth discussions during the session. Learning Outcomes of the Ultra-Short Term Program in Malaysia Through BEVI（ Beliefs, Events and Value Inventory）
No full text2023年に香川大学インターナショナルオフィスが実施した「マレーシア・多文化体験プログラム」は一週間の超短期留学プログラムである。短期留学によってどのような学修効果が得られるのか、BEVIによる客観的測定と学生自身による主観的振り返りとを合わせて分析を試みた。その結果、BEVIによる分析からは、中・上位層の学生、特に中位層にはいわゆる非語学能力要素に変化があったことが窺われ、学修効果ありと評価できる一方、低位層には際立った変化が見られず、また男女別のデータ比較からは、低位層の女子には学修効果が顕著ではなかったことが示唆された。つまり、学生自身による主観的振り返りでは「何らかの学びがあった」と感じていても、BEVIのデータと照らし合わせると、実際には変化がなかったと推測される学生が一部いたことから、学修成果の検証において複数の指標を用いることが重要であることが示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
