Occurrence of ochratoxin A in instant noodles from China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand
Get PDF日本、中国、タイ、ベトナムとインドネシアのアジア5ヵ国で市販されていたインスタントラーメン128検体のオクラトキシン類の汚染調査を初めて行った。128検体中102検体（79.7%）がOTA陽性であり、全検体汚染平均値は0.115μg/kgであった。全ての検体からもOTBは検出されなかった。また、EUの定める加工食品中のOTAの規制値3.0μg/kgを超える検体もなかった。国別では、ベトナムが陽性率63.3%、全検体汚染濃度0.048μg/kgとタイが陽性率63.3%、全検体汚染濃度0.057μg/kgで最も低かった。次が、日本が陽性率92.3%、全検体汚染濃度0.110μg/kgと中国が陽性率83.3%、全検体汚染濃度0.134μg/kgであった。最も汚染していたのがインドネシアでが陽性率100%、全検体汚染濃度0.236μg/kgであった。最高濃度0.744μg/kgのOTAに汚染されていたインスタントラーメンもあったが、EUの規制値の1/4以下であった。このインスタントラーメンを毎日2袋食べてもTDIの20%以下であり、健康リスクは充分低いと考えられた。For the first time, 128 samples of instant noodles sold in five Asian countries (Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia) were investigated for contamination with ochratoxins. Of the 128 samples, 102 (79.7%) were OTA‐positive, and the average contamination level for all samples was 0.115 μg/kg. OTB was not detected in any instant noodles. In addition, none of the samples exceeded the regulation value of 3.0 μg/kg for OTA in processed foods set by EU. By country, Vietnam had the lowest positive rate of 63.3%, with a total sample concentration of 0.048 μg/kg, and Thailand with a positive rate of 63.3%, with a total sample concentration of 0.057 μg/kg. Next was Japan with a positive rate of 92.3% and a total sample concentration of 0.110 μg/kg, and China with a positive rate of 83.3% and a total sample concentration of 0.134 μg/kg. Indonesia was the most contaminated country, with a positive rate of 100% and a contamination concentration of 0.236 μg/kg. An Indonesia instant noodle was contaminated with OTA at a maximum concentration of 0.744 μg/kg, but it was less than 1/4 of the EU regulatory limit. Eating two bags of this instant noodle per a day resulted in less than 20% of tolerable daily intake of OTA, suggesting that the health risk is quite low.departmental bulletin pape

The impact of light touch and pin prick on functional outcomes in patients with traumatic spinal cord injury
Get PDF香川大学Kagawa University博士（医学）A spinal cord injury (SCI) can cause severe lifelong functional disability and profoundly affect an individual's daily life. We investigated the prediction of patients' post-SCI functional outcomes by evaluating sensory scores rather than motor scores, as the latter's association with functional outcomes is well established. We examined patients' responses to a light touch (LT) and pin prick (PP) at admission and the response data's usefulness as predictors of functional outcomes (i.e., ability to perform activities of daily living) at discharge. This exploratory observational study used data from the Japanese National Spinal Cord Injury Database (SCI-J). Data from 3,676 patients who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted for an SCI between 1997 and 2020 were analyzed. The motor score of the Functional Independence Measure (mFIM) at discharge was used as an index of functional outcome. A multiple regression analysis revealed that the mFIM was associated with both the LT response (β=0.07 (0.01), p<0.001) and the PP response (β=0.07 (0.01), p<0.001) at admission. The false discovery rate log-worth values for LT and PP were 6.6 and 8.5, respectively. Our findings demonstrate that LT and PP scores at admission can help predict patients' functional outcomes after an SCI, although the magnitude of their contributions is not high.doctoral thesi
