Actual State of the Sports Club Advisors’ Worries and Burdens in Extracurricular Sports Activities at High School : A Preliminary Investigation for the Development of Stressor Scale
Get PDFapplication/pdfJournal ArticleThe purposes of this study are to clarify the actual state of the sports club advisors’ worries and burdens in extracurricular sports activities at high school and to discuss the selection of the survey items that constitute the stressor scale for sports club advisors at high school. In order to collect data, 42 sports club advisors（ 31 males and 11 females） in the public high schools participated in this study. They were requested to complete the questionnaire consisting of free descriptive sections intended to have respondents state their opinions in writing about“ what worries and burdens the sports club advisors experienced through their participation in the extracurricular sports activities”. The descriptive data were collected and analyzed based on the KJ-Method （Kawakita, 1967）. The number of descriptive data gathered from the sports club advisors’ responses were 88 items. These data were grouped according to similar contents to construct 20 groups. Next, these groups were categorized into the following 8 factors; “members of sports club”, “environment of sports activities”, “leadership abilities”, “timedependent burdens”,“ financial burdens”,“ physical burdens”,“ inadequate system of extracurricular sports activities”, and “relationships between advisors”. A Study of the Qualitative Evaluation of Exchange Programs by Interregions : A Model Study of Niigata in the Japan Sea Area
Get PDFapplication/pdfJournal ArticleThis thesis consists of four chapters : 1) The aim of this study ; 2 ) Areview of existing studies and the choice of case studies ; 3 ) Interviews about the qualitative evaluation of typical cases ; and 4) Ways for further exchange of interregions. For exchange programs of interregions, new recommendations for services such as multi-cultural support for the inhabitants, various securities beyond boundaries, and economic relations without domestic regional gaps are expected. The concept of what a “region” is exists in our consciousness. As such, its qualitative evaluation depends on the evaluator’s consciousness about a region. That is, a person who thinks about individual trust supporting an exchange of interregions has a sense of a unity between each region. But a person who thinks about systems supporting an exchange of interregions has a sense that social conditions change relations between each region. In the former case, relations between each region are kept on an individual trust basis. But in the latter case, if the system becomes stale, relations between each region are broken. And for the realization of the new aims of the exchange of interregions which are expected to form a regional policy, the system must be changed from egional exchanges to formation of an inclusive region among all concerned regions. And for this, it is useful to establish the concept of “Kokusai-Chiiki” as meaning “ Interregion”.journal articl

Get PDFapplication/pdfJournal ArticleThis paper documents the construction of SAMs for China for 2002 and 2007. The main purpose of constructing the two SAMs is to obtain databases for computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling. The two SAMs constructed in this study are 97×97 matrices. Each matrix contains 42 production activities, 42 commodities, 2 factors of production, 5 current accounts of institutions, 5 capital accounts of institutions, and one account of fi nancial fl ows. This study also illustrates the features of the Chinese economy from three aspects, i.e., production structure, factor income distribution and financing patterns, using the evidence from two SAMs.journal articl
