A Study on Creating a Sustainable Environment to Enhance Teachers’ Awareness of Collegiality and Job Satisfaction -Through the Greatest Educational Environment of All: Teacher Learning Together-
Get PDFThis study examines how to raise teachers’ awareness of collegiality and job satisfaction and to build a sustainable staff room environment in schools through the practical activities that the author has been engaged in, such as “Oasis Time,” “Research Director’s Letter,” and “Staff Room Letter.” Through these efforts, a climate was formed in which teachers and staff recognized each other’s strengths and learned from each other, and the effect of improving psychological safety and job satisfaction was observed. In particular, through activities to record and communicate educational perspectives and daily practices, a relationship based on trust and respect was fostered, and younger faculty members began to actively participate in learning together. In addition, by adopting a career development perspective and presenting learning styles appropriate to each age group, the program also provided support for faculty members to undergo personal development in accordance with to their respective life stages. It became clear that these practices, in addition to affirming the diversity of the teaching staff, were effective at establishing a sense of organizational unity and a culture of mutual support in the staff room, leading to the revitalization of the entire educational field.departmental bulletin pape
An Initiative for Classroom Support Using a Simplified Serverless Educational Environment Equipped with Learning Analytics Functions
Get PDFIn recent years, the importance of Learning Analytics（LA）has been increasing as a means to ensure the quality of education. However, the implementation of LA systems often faces hurdles such as high costs and the need for specialized expertise. In this study, we developed a simplified serverless Learning Analytics system called SiLA（Simplified Learning Analytics）, utilizing Google Forms and GAS（Google Apps Script）to enable easy adoption by educators. SiLA is designed to be operated directly by instructors through a threestep process:（1）data collection,（2）data analysis, and（3）data visualization.
In addition, in combination with Moodle, SiLA contributes to the realization of paperless classrooms by supporting functions such as material distribution and report management. Notably, SiLA facilitates the collection of student comments, automatic attendance recording, and the visualization and analysis of understanding and satisfaction levels. These features enable instructors to promptly identify students’ levels of comprehension and areas in need of instructional improvement.

Computing Afriat’s Critical Efficiency Index via Graph Decomposition: Based on the Structure of Strongly Connected Components
Get PDFThis paper proposes a graph-based algorithm for computing Afriat’s Critical Efficiency Index (ACEI), which measures the minimum relaxation required to rationalize a dataset under the Generalized Axiom of Revealed Preference (GARP). The method iteratively removes critical arcs within strongly connected components (SCCs), ordered by their revealed efficiency ratios. The final threshold produced by this deletion process is equal to the ACEI, providing a structure-aware alternative that avoids global enumeration of efficiency thresholds and yields an interpretable decomposition of revealed-preference violations. Furthermore, by accumulating the violation lengths of the removed arcs, the algorithm provides a tractable approximation to Dean and Martin’s Minimum Cost Index (MCI), capturing both the threshold level of inefficiency and the cumulative cost of necessary corrections. Compared with existing threshold-based and global-optimization approaches, the proposed algorithm integrates computation and interpretation, offering a practical tool for evaluating and visualizing inconsistency in empirical consumption data.technical repor

Get PDFThis paper mainly discusses the relationship between economics and psychology. Those two subjects should not be exclusive subjects, but rather good complements. According to the Japanese essayist Shichihei Yamamoto, the unique specter called "air" has often possessed an absolute power over human action in Japanese society. In order to investigate a forgotten link between the noted literary man Yamamoto and the great economist Keynes, it is necessary to reread The General Theory. We note that although logical and air-ethic decisions should be separated, they have often been confused so far. We next turn our attention to the beloved term "animal spirits", which was referred to Keynes and J. Robinson, and recently further developed by Akerlof and Shiller. The term "the beauty contest" was also introduced by Keynes to show the intrinsic instability of capitalism, being recently developed by the behavior economist Thaler.
