Da redoma ao poema: escrita, suplência e melancolia em Sylvia Plath: From the Bell Jar to the poem: writing, support, and melancholia in Sylvia Plath
No full textBased on the conception of melancholia as a psychotic structure, this study analyzes the limits of writing as a symbolic support in Sylvia Plath. Considering Lacan’s proposal that certain formations, such as writing, can function as a fourth link of psychic sustenance, this work discusses the impasses of such an operation when there is no symbolic inscription in the field of the Other, that is, no recognition within the social bond. In Plath’s biography, it is observed that the author only achieved public recognition posthumously, which highlights the failure of this form of support. Thus, her writing does not provide stability to her psychic structure: it ceaselessly repeats the pain that lacks symbolic anchoring.A partir da concepção da melancolia como uma estrutura psicótica, este estudo analisa os limites da escrita como suplência simbólica em Sylvia Plath. Considerando a proposta lacaniana de que certas formações, como a escrita, podem funcionar como um quarto elo de sustentação psíquica, discutem-se os impasses dessa operação quando não há uma inscrição simbólica no campo do Outro, ou seja, um reconhecimento no laço social. Na biografia de Plath, observa-se que a autora só alcançou reconhecimento público após sua morte, o que evidencia a falha dessa possibilidade de suplência. Sua escrita, assim, não oferece sustentação à sua estrutura: repete, incansavelmente, a dor que não encontra amarra simbólica

No full textThe central theme of this article is: Zarathustra, the superior men and education. Such superior men are characters created by Nietzsche and are present in his book Thus Spoke Zarathustra in the fourth and last part of the work. It is an analysis of the predominant modus vivendi in the West and indicates how the German philosopher approached human formation. The objective is to clarify the educational perspective present in the debate of the central character with the superior men. These are employed by Nietzsche to establish a critique of the various ways of life of modern man, proposing, on the other hand, other horizons of interpretation of life. I stress that the text below developed is part of my master\u27s dissertation whose title is: Nietzsche: a perspective on education in Thus Spoke Zarathustra.O tema central deste artigo é: Zaratustra, os homens superiores e a educação. Tais homens superiores são personagens criados por Nietzsche e estão presentes em seu livro Assim falou Zaratustra na quarta e última parte da obra. É uma análise do modus vivendi predominante no Ocidente e indica como o filósofo alemão abordou a formação humana. O objetivo é esclarecer a perspectiva educativa presente no debate do personagem central com os homens superiores. Estes são empregados por Nietzsche para estabelecer uma crítica a diversos modos de vida do homem moderno, propondo, emcontrapartida, outros horizontes de interpretação da vida. Influência da Temperatura no Comportamento Mecânico de um Solo Mole: The Effect of Temperature in the Mechanical Behavior of a Soft Soil
No full textFor a better understanding of the thermomechanical behavior of soils, new tests and methods has been createdfor the thermal characterization to be possible. The understanding of the thermomechanical behavior is also made by thedevelopment of mathematical models that tries to map and explain the constitutive laws of materials inside thethermo-hydro-mechanical domain. Even though it’s a enormous challenge, great advances had been made in the lastyears. The aim of this work is to highlight the importance of the temperature on the physical and mechanical properties ofsoils and how they should be implanted into the very known mechanical strenght of materials calculations. Thermodynamical parameters has been extracted as thermal conductivity, thermal expansion coefficient, emissivity, thermal diffusivity, entropy and energy dissipation, putting in evidence the dependency of some soil parameters that are not constant. The variations on the strain rate and the evolution of the yield stress will also be discussed in this work and also the correlation in between some thermodynamical and geomechanical parameters.Para que se possa ter uma melhor compreensão do comportamento termomecânico dos solos, novos métodosde ensaios foram criados para que caracterizações térmicas fossem possíveis. O entendimento do comportamentotermomecânico também passa por tentativas de elaboração de modelos matemáticos que visam mapear e explanar leisconstitutivas dos materiais dentro do campo termo-hidro-mecânico. Por maior que seja o desafio nas áreas citadasacima, tivemos nos últimos anos, avanços enormes e significativos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo ressaltar a importância da temperatura nas propriedades físico-mecânicas do solo e como ela deve ser implantada nos cálculos de resistência mecânica. Foram extraidos parâmetros termodinâmicos como a condutividade térmica, o coeficiente de expansão térmico e emissividade de radiação térmica, difusividade térmica, entropia do material elástico, dissipação interna de energia, colocando em evidência a dependência térmica de alguns parâmetros do solo que não são constantes. As variações na taxa de deformação e a evolução do limite de escoamento da amostra também serão discutidos no presente trabalho, assim como a correlação entre termodinâmica e parâmetros geomecânicos
A curatela sob medida: notas interdisciplinares sobre o estatuto da pessoa com deficiência e o novo CPC
No full textIn Brazil, the proposal to flexibilize curatorship for those suffering from mental disorders was carried out by doctrine, initially, through the constitutional interpretation of article 1772 of the Civil Code /2002, from 2009. Recently, however, per force of acceptance of the International Convention of Persons with Disability (2007), which rose in status from constitutional standards, there appear works suggesting the reading of this institute as from this international law, which deals, among other themes,with civil incapacity. In 2015, two laws were published bringing changes to the theme: the Disabled Person Statue and the New Code of Civil Procedure. Thus, positing new thoughts on this theme is a subject of extreme modernity and social relevance. The proposal of this work is breaching the legal evolution of curatorship, by acknowledging the positive and negative aspects which gravitate around the theme.No Brasil, a proposta da flexibilização da curatela para o portador de transtorno mental foi feita pela doutrina, a princípio, através da interpretação constitucional do art 1772 do Código Civil/2002, em 2009. Recentemente, no entanto, por força do acolhimento da Convenção Internacional das Pessoas com Deficiência (2007), que galgou status de norma constitucional, surgem trabalhos sugerindo a leitura deste instituto a partir deste diploma legal internacional, que cuida, entre outros temas, da incapacidade civil. Em 2015, foram publicadas duas leis que trazem alterações para o tema: o Estatuto da Pessoa com Deficiência e o Novo Código de Processo Civil. Com isso, realizar novas reflexões a este respeito é assunto de extremaatualidade e relevância social. A proposta deste trabalho é tratar da evolução jurídica da curatela, reconhecendo os aspectos positivos e negativos que transitam em torno do tema
Shows na Lapa carioca e processos de revalorização da memória: Shows in carioca Lapa and the process of memory revalorization
Full text linkKnown as one of the most traditional clubs in the cultural circuit of Lapa, in Rio de Janeiro city, and being stage for mainstream artists, Circo Voador and Fundição Progresso and their cultural programming become objects of analysis in this article that aims to study, through musical and memory theories, how some topics are frequently on discussion when the subject is the representation of society. If music can be seen as means of communication, we can therefore see how it allows producers to distribute systems of symbolism through themes such as apocalyptic narratives, regional cultures and notions of return to the origins.Consideradas casas de shows tradicionais do circuito cultural da Lapa, no Rio de Janeiro, e por receberem artistas da cena mainstream, as programações culturais do Circo Voador e da Fundição Progresso tornam- se objetos de análise neste estudo que pretende observar, a partir de teorias sobre a música e a memória, uma tendência peculiar em torno de movimentos culturais que ali ganham espaço. A música, vista como meio de comunicação, torna-se mecanismo na disseminação de discursos que permitem observar o apelo a simbolismos pautados por temas que perpassam a narrativa escatológica/apocalíptica, a valorização de ideais regionais e noções de retorno à origem, como estratégias de compensação em uma sociedade tecnológica

Full text linkSamuel Rawet was a Brazilian Jewish writer divided himself between literature and engineer. He wrote countless essays and short stories in which he presented or discussed the subject of homosexuality. His novels dialog directly with his essays when he talks about subject that he is obsessed, to use the author’s own words. I propose to analyze one of these subjects, the homosexual question based on his article “Homossexualismo: sexualidade e valor”, published on 1970, in dialogue with his novels. The short stories here studied suggest the same question: the body as an ethical place. However, the article takes as its basis the observation of the philosopher Didier Eribon that it would not be possible to move the limits of human freedom out of hegemonic places. Considering the review and literature as a hegemonic manifestation, Samuel Rawet had the intention to extend this limits.Samuel Rawet foi um escritor judeu brasileiro que se dividiu entre a literatura e a engenharia. Escreveu inúmeros ensaios e contos nos quais apresentou ou discutiu o tema da homossexualidade. Sua ficção dialoga diretamente com seus textos ensaísticos no que diz respeito a certos assuntos obsessivos, para usar as próprias palavras do autor. Assim, proponho analisar um desses assuntos, a questão homossexual, a partir do ensaio “Homossexualismo: sexualidade e valor”, publicado em 1970, em diálogo com sua ficção. Os contos aqui analisados apresentam a mesma questão: o corpo como lugar ético. O artigo, entretanto, toma como base a observação do filósofo Didier Eribon de que não seria possível deslocar os limites da liberdade humana fora dos lugares hegemônicos. Considerando a crítica e o texto literário como manifestações hegemônicas, Samuel Rawet intentou alargar estes limites

Full text linkThis article aims to raise relevant information about the evolution of digital TV in Brazil, examining the 2007–2015-time interval, through research papers, technical reports and the literature, studying system advances, government initiatives, broadcast TV and telecommunications networks for the implementation and improvement of the digital signal in Brazil; we consider focusing on the viewer (the system user) and on the concessions for pay TV and the process of ending the analog TV broadcast in the country.O presente artigo pretende levantar dados relevantes sobre a evolução e as perspectivas da TV digital no Brasil, analisando, a partir de um recorte espaço-temporal do ano 2007 até 2015, por meio de pesquisa em documentos, relatórios técnicos e referências bibliográficas, e estudando os avanços dos sistemas, as iniciativas do governo, das emissoras de TV aberta e dos grupos de telecomunicações para a implantação e a melhoria do sinal digital no território brasileiro. O estudo será feito com base no usuário do sistema (telespectador) e nas concessões para a TV fechada, além das ações de encerramento de transmissão analógica no território nacional

Full text linkBased on the studies about the representations of women in contemporary media, this paper aims to identify how the TV the imaginary about the brides. Telenovelas, movies, advertisements and more recently reality shows indicate dreams, expectations and behaviors of women who will marry. Thus, the wedding becomes a media event and uses a narrative to indicate the perfect event. To understand how the Brazilian bride is shown by the media, the article will analyze the discursive materiality of the program ‘Chuva de Arroz’, on the subscription TV channel GNT.A partir dos estudos sobre representações do feminino na mídia contemporânea, este trabalho tem como objetivo identificar como a TV compõe o imaginário sobre as noivas. Novelas, filmes, comerciais e, mais recentemente, os reality shows indicam sonhos, expectativas e comportamentos de mulheres que irão casar-se. Nesse percurso, para se produzir um evento midiático e passível de narrativa, fazem-se recortes a fim de mostrar essas noivas, modelando certa representação do feminino em tais ocasiões. Para buscar entender como a noiva brasileira é mostrada pela mídia, este artigo irá analisar a materialidade discursiva do programa Chuva de Arroz, exibido pelo canal por assinatura GNT
Aproveitamento integral de alimentos ou de seus resíduos no desenvolvimento de produtos alimentícios numa disciplina do curso de Nutrição: relato de experiência: Full use of food or of their waste in the development of food products in a discipline of the Nutrition graduation course: a case report
Full text linkThe full utilization of food is a recent approach of the new food product development sector. This study aims to report all the phases of the experience of a discipline in the nutrition graduation course, in which preparations using waste recovery were developed. Six working groups were formed and the creation of the products passed through the steps of the survey of ideas, product definition, definition of revenue, product testing, sensory analysis, packaging, labeling and nutrition labeling, and production. At the end, alfajors were prepared using the full pumpkin, brioches were enriched with pumpkin’s peels and the seeds, brownies were made with jackfruit seed biomass, cookies were made using the leftovers of rice and the stems of vegetables, cupcake were made using the full papaya and desserts were made with the peel of melon. The activity allowed the combination of different disciplines of the nutrition graduation curriculum and promoted the discussion of sustainability in food production. Additionally, the students were the central figures in this work, promoting their active participation in the learning process.O aproveitamento integral dos alimentos é uma abordagem recente no setor de desenvolvimento de novos produtos alimentícios. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo relatar todas as etapas da experiência de uma disciplina do curso de Nutrição, na qual foram desenvolvidas preparações com aproveitamento de resíduos. Seis grupos de trabalho foram formados e a criação dos produtos passou pelas etapas de levantamentos de ideias, definição do produto, definição das receitas, teste do produto, análise sensorial, embalagem, rótulo e rotulagem nutricional e lançamento dos produtos. Ao fim, foram elaborados alfajor com aproveitamento integral de abóbora, brioche enriquecido com cascas e sementes de abóbora, brownie elaborado com biomassa da semente de jaca, biscoito com aproveitamento das sobras de arroz e talos de hortaliças, cupcake com aproveitamento integral do mamão e sobremesas com casca do Melão. A atividade permitiu aliar diferentes disciplinas do curriculum de Nutrição e promoveu a discussão da sustentabilidade na produção de alimentos. Adicionalmente, o estudante foi a figura central neste trabalho, que promoveu sua participação ativa no processo de aprendizagem
