Prevenção, controlo e tratamento do tabagismo na formação pré-graduada dos alunos da Universidade de Évora: Prevention, control and smoking treatment in pre-graduate training of students of University Évora
No full textSmoking is currently the first cause of preventable disease, disability and premature death in developed countries. In 2010, it is estimated to have been responsible in Portugal for about eleven thousand deaths. The latest Eurobarometer data from 2015 indicate that the prevalence of smoking has risen two percentage points compared to 2012, a trend contrary to the European Union. The Portuguese law stipulates that the themes of prevention, control and smoking cessation should integrate the curricula of pre-graduate training courses in health and education. This paper gives account of the training experience in this field in the courses of health education, including the objectives and recommended contents, the organization of Smoking Prevention Campaign and the effects have been felt in the realization of this intervention.O tabagismo é, atualmente, a primeira causa evitável de doença, incapacidade e morte prematura nos países desenvolvidos. Estima-se que tenha sido responsável, em Portugal e em 2010, por aproximadamente onze mil mortes. Os últimos dados do Eurobarómetro, de 2015, indicam que a prevalência de fumadores subiu dois pontos percentuais relativamente a 2012, tendência contrária à da União Europeia. O quadro legal português estabelece que as temáticas da prevenção, do controlo e do tratamento do tabagismo devem integrar os curricula dos cursos de formação pré-graduada de saúde e de educação. Este trabalho dá conta a experiência de formação neste domínio nas unidades curriculares de educação para a saúde, nomeadamente os objetivos e conteúdos preconizados, a organização da Campanha de Prevenção Tabágica e os efeitos que têm sido sentidos na realização desta intervenção

Reputed as one of the most prestigious and controversial contemporary philosophers, from his early work Sloterdijk expresses interest in the conflicts of bourgeois subjectivity, psychoanalysis, the presence of the body, literature and music. The three volumes of Spheres (Bubbles, Globes, Foams) constitute a general poetics of space and involve the construction of a “mega-discourse” of a new type, which synthesizes and critically continues the most important lines of modern thought.Este artículo presenta el pensamiento del filósofo alemán Peter Sloterdijk. Reputado como uno de los filósofos contemporáneos más prestigiosos y polémicos, desde sus primeros trabajos Sloterdijk manifiesta el interés por los conflictos de la subjetividad burguesa, el psicoanálisis, la presencia del cuerpo, la literatura y la música. Los tres volúmenes de Esferas (Burbujas, Globos, Espumas) constituyen una poética general del espacio y suponen la construcción de un “mega-relato” de nuevo tipo, que sintetiza y continúa críticamente las líneas más importantes del pensamiento moderno
Uma questão de identidade: reflexões sobre os Funks Cariocas dos anos 1990: A question of identity: reflections on Carioca Funks of the 1990s
Full text linkThis article aims to analyze two Funk Carioca’s lyrics from 1990 decade: Rap do Silva, produced by MC Bob Rum in 1995 and Rap do Salgueiro, developed by Claudinho e Buchecha in 1996. This study object was chosen in order to explore a musical genre, which is socially discredited because of its situational aspect permeated by violence and organized crime. Besides, we believe that although the analyzed Funks seem to be violent, because of Funk’s stigma promoted by the press of the nineties, the songs present a “non-violent” identity. That is why we intend to observe, more specifically, the grammatical elements which go beyond the sense of language and relate those elements not only to the pragmatic factors of textuality, but also to beliefs and values that circulate the social historical dimension. Therefore, this research has the goal of reflecting about the Linguistic Identity and Social Representations that exist in those lyrics based on the assumptions of Serge Moscovici (2007) and Patrick Charaudeau (2015), through the Pragmatic Factors of Textuality promoted by Beaugrande and Dressler (1983 apud COSTA VAL, 2011) and studied by Textual Linguistic, which is represented in this study by Anna Christina Bentes (2001), Koch & Travaglia (2006), Costa Val (2011), Luís Antônio Marcuschi (2012) and Ingedore Koch (2015).Este artigo pretende analisar duas letras de Funks Cariocas da década de 1990: Rap do Silva, produzida pelo MC Bob Rum, em 1995, e Rap do Salgueiro, produzida por Claudinho e Buchecha, em 1996. A escolha deste objeto de estudo surgiu com a necessidade de explorar o Funk Carioca dos anos 1990, gênero musical desprestigiado socialmente devido ao seu aspecto situacional permeado pela violência e pelo crime organizado. Além disso, entendemos que apesar do estigma violento do Funk Carioca promovido pela imprensa da época, os Funks Cariocas aparentam apresentar uma identidade “não violenta”. Por isso, propomos observar, mais especificamente, os elementos gramaticais do texto que vão além do sentido de língua e relacioná-los tanto aos fatores pragmáticos da textualidade quanto às crenças e valores que circulam na dimensão histórico-social. Sendo assim, o presente estudo tem a finalidade de refletir sobre a Identidade Linguística e as Representações Sociais presentes nessa letra de música, com base nos pressupostos de Serge Moscovici (2007) e Patrick Charaudeau (2015), por meio dos fatores pragmáticos da textualidade cunhados por Beaugrande e Dressler (1983 apud COSTA VAL, 2011) e estudados pela Linguística Textual, representada neste trabalho por Anna Christina Bentes (2001), Koch e Travaglia (2006), Costa Val (2011), Luís Antônio Marcuschi (2012) e Ingedore Koch (2015)
Impacto dos Empreendimentos Lineares na Paisagem: The Impact of Linear Projects on the Landscape
Full text linkConcern with environmental issues has gained an increasing importance, which makes the impact of the projects of linear developments in Brazil play a major role. Following this trend, those activities have been examined for decades and may be potentially harmful to the conservation of biodiversity. This article makes an analysis of the current interference that linear projects have on the biodiversity and aims to diagnose the main impacts of linear projects, indicating mitigation measures. It requires the mutual analysis of the development of those projects, in combination with suggestions to minimize the impacts using solutions already available, taking as example some studies done outside the state of Rio de Janeiro or abroad. The presentation of relevant and critical considerations on the key points of this work, together with the academic studies and information gathered about those impacts could be obtained through literature surveys. As a result, we have the effective implementation, here in Brazil, of successful proposals from abroad, as well as encouraging the critical monitoring developed during the study, leading to a brainstorming. Accordingly, it is necessary to consolidate the information gathered, proposing economically and environmentally viable alternatives to the monitoring and maintenance processes and the proposal of a new model of projects by the government.A preocupação relativa às questões de cunho ambiental tem tomado uma proporção cada vez maior, atribuindo às obras de empreendimentos lineares já construídas aqui no Brasil um papel cada vez mais impactante. Seguindo essa tendência, suas atividades vêm sendo observadas ao decorrer de décadas e consideradas potencialmente perigosas para a conservação da biodiversidade. Este artigo faz uma análise da atual interferência que os empreendimentos lineares têm sobre a biodiversidade e tem como objetivo diagnosticar os principais impactos causados pelos empreendimentos lineares, apontando suas respectivas medidas mitigadoras a mútua análise do desenvolvimento destes empreendimentos, a tomar como exemplo alguns estudos internacionais ou fora do estado do Rio de Janeiro A apresentação de considerações relevantes e críticas nos pontos chaves desse trabalho junto às informações acadêmicas e estudos encontrados sobre esses impactos, puderam ser obtidas através de levantamentos bibliográficos. Como resultados temos a efetiva implantação das propostas bem sucedidas de outros países aqui no Brasil assim como o incentivo ao monitoramento a partir do olhar crítico desenvolvido durante o estudo, gerando um debate de ideias. Portanto é necessário consolidar as informações levantadas, propondo alternativas econômicas e ambientalmente viáveis ao processo de monitoramento, manutenção e proposta de novo modelo de obras por parte do govern

No full textThe article explores the notion of metaphor in Jacques Lacan and Michel Pêcheux. Drawing on Saussure and Freud, the authors argue that metaphor is not a peripheral figure of speech but a fundamental operation through which meaning is produced, subverting the idea of a transparent and literal language. They maintain that any signifying chain is an articulator of meaning. For Lacan, signification is a retroactive effect produced through the sliding of the signifying chain, while desire emerges indirectly through formations such as metaphor. Pêcheux, in turn, conceives metaphor as a fundamental discursive mechanism, the material form of the displacement of meaning, showing that meaning is constituted through the relations and tensions among different discursive formations.O artigo explora a metáfora em Jacques Lacan e Michel Pêcheux. Inspirando-se em Saussure e Freud, os autores defendem que a metáfora não se trata de uma figura de linguagem periférica, mas de uma operação fundamental pela qual o sentido é produzido, subvertendo a noção de uma linguagem transparente e literal. Argumentam que qualquer cadeia significante é articuladora de sentidos. Para Lacan, a significação é um efeito retroativo que se produz a partir do deslizamento da cadeia significante, enquanto o desejo emerge indiretamente, através de formações como a metáfora. Pêcheux, por sua vez, tem a metáfora como um mecanismo discursivo fundamental, forma material do deslocamento do sentido, mostrando que este se constitui como efeito das relações e tensões entre diferentes formações discursivas

Ledes highlights Didier-Weill’s fictional account of a youthful Hitler whose initial hatred targets Hellenism before antisemitism. He argues Didier-Weill interprets Hellenism through Freud, who saw Greek tragedy as valuing the place of the other, a value Freud also associated with Judaism. This contrasts with late-19th-century ethno-nationalist uses of Greece as a white racial origin. Ledes connects this to Freud’s distance from Zionism, citing Moses and Monotheism to show Freud defending universality over racial identity.Richard C. No full textn this paper we aim to present and reflect on the main contributions of the Egyptian psychoanalyst Moustapha Safouan to psychoanalysis. Being a follower of Jacques Lacan\u27s teachings since the beginning of his seminars, he\u27s the author of a solid contribution to psychoanalysis and a translator of Freud, La Boétie and Shakespeare to the Arabic language. Having chosen Lacan as his supervisor, he becomes one of his loyal disciples. The wide experience arising from his clinical, theoretical and institutional journey allows him to be the author of a body of work whose relevance stands out among the French and international psychoanalytic movement.Neste artigo pretendemos apresentar e refletir sobre as principais contribuições do psicanalista egípcio Moustapha Safouan para o campo psicanalítico. Seguidor do ensino de Jacques Lacan desde o início de seus seminários, Safouan é autor de uma sólida contribuição para a psicanálise e tradutor de Freud, La Boétie e Shakespeare para o árabe. Desde que escolhe Lacan como supervisor, permanece um de seus leais discípulos. No full textThis article proposes a Freudian reading of Shel Silverstein’s The Missing Piece to articulate the relation between desire and lack. It argues that the inaugural experience of satisfaction inscribes an irrecoverable mnemonic trace that retroactively orients desiring. Desire, indestructible under repression, seeks to symbolically re-enact the trace tied to the first satisfaction. Read in this key, the narrative dramatizes the collapse of the fantasy of completeness: upon experiencing the perfect fit, the character loses his song and renounces the piece, thereby restoring the metonymic circulation of desire. The conclusion is that no object can guarantee completeness; there is a constitutive void that sustains desire.Este artigo propõe uma leitura freudiana de A Parte que Falta, de Shel Silverstein, para articular desejo e falta. Sustenta-se que a experiência inaugural de satisfação inscreve um traço mnêmico irrecuperável que orienta retroativamente o desejar. O desejo, indestrutível sob recalque, busca realizar simbolicamente o traço ligado à primeira satisfação. Lida assim, a narrativa dramatiza a queda da fantasia de completude: ao experimentar o encaixe perfeito, o personagem perde o canto e renuncia à peça, restaurando a circulação metonímica do desejo. Conclui-se que não há objeto capaz de garantir completude: há um vazio constitutivo que sustenta o desejo

Full text linkThis paper aims to understand the intersections of social movements of disabled people and the construction of public policies in Brazil. It is a literature review that traces the trajectory of such movement at the end of the 1970s until the present day, particularly in the wake of the democratization process experienced in Brazil. It highlights the democratic participation of those collective subjects through a historical process for the achievement of social rights. The debate on the theme brings about the recognition of the importance of the political movement of disabled people in the country for the construction of their citizenship and the strengthen of a democratic and participatory society.Este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender as interseções dos movimentos sociais das pessoas com deficiência e a construção de Políticas Públicas no Brasil. Versa sobre uma revisão de literatura que perfaz a trajetória deste movimento ao final da década de 70 do século XX até os dias atuais, especialmente no bojo do processo de redemocratização vivenciado no Brasil. Destaca a participação democrática destes sujeitos coletivos através de um processo histórico para a conquista dos direitos sociais. O debate em torno do tema traz o reconhecimento sobre a importância do movimento político das pessoas com deficiência no país para a construção da cidadania e afirmação de uma sociedade democrática e participativa
