EXAMINING OPEN RELATIONSHIPS IN INDONESIA ACCORDING TO THOMAS AQUINAS AND HIS PROPONENTS
No full textThe relationship between husband and wife is an important part of their bond. Recently, there have been many attempts to reinterpret monogamous relationships based on gender equality. One of these attempts comes from open relationships. They are of the view that monogamy is outdated and needs to be modified. Open relationships shift the sexual exclusivity that husbands and wives have had. Each individual in the marriage allows their partner to have sexual relations outside of their legal spouse. This concept was introduced as part of autonomy, equality, and freedom because of the marginalization of women's rights in the family. Open relationships reformulate the concept of happiness in the family. According to them, happiness in the family can be achieved when couples can eliminate jealousy and competition. The arrangement for this happiness is to give their primary partner the freedom to have sexual relations with other people. Because the partner's happiness with others is their happiness, this study aims to provide a philosophical foundation based on the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas as a means to fill the research gap. This article will review how autonomy, equality, freedom, and happiness should be actualized in the family

No full textKonektivitas adalah salah satu faktor penting dalam membangun kerja sama di tingkat bilateral, regional dan internasional. Dunia city to city connectivity menjadi tulang punggung bagi kelangsungan koridor ekonomi pada kerja sama sub-regional seperti IMT-GT. Artikel ini menyajikan tinjauan dinamika dua koridor ekonomi, yaitu konektivitas Pulau Medan-Penang dan konektivitas Dumai-Melaka di Selat Malaka, dan sedikit ulasan tentang masa depan city to city connectivity bagi  Indonesia dan Malaysia. Metode penulisan artikel ini didasarkan pada analisis kualitatif, dengan esensi dari temuannya adalah bahwa sebagai simpul terkecil dalam konektivitas, city to city connectivity yang dimaksud  menentukan dinamika koridor ekonomi antara Indonesia dan Malaysia. Dan kondisi ini akan tetap menjadi faktor penting bagi kelangsungan kerja sama kedua negara, dan bagi kerja sama subregional  IMT-GT di masa depan

A Mixing Washer Optimization for Salt Purification
No full textConventional salt production from seawater and solar evaporation has the drawback such as contains many impurities of magnesium, calcium and mud. The purification process is necessary to achieve the standard quality requirements for consumption and industrial salt. A simple salt purification process was carried out by using saturated salt solution through a mixing washer. This research focuses on design and optimization of mixing washer. During the washing process, baffles act as flow restrictors, to reduce swirling and encourage vertical fluid circulation. This equipment was mainly used in the mixing and suspension making process of solids using vertical cylindrical tanks where vortexes are easily formed, regardless of the type of impeller. The baffle strength was tested and confirmed using CFD simulation. The result of the wooden baffle was strong enough to be used in the mixing washer with a diameter of 850mm. The optimum mixing washing process was obtained at 200 rpm for 10 minutes. The coarse salt could be increased in purity from 88% NaCl to 98%. Mg content was reduced to 0.7% respectively
Tren Penelitian Dan Jaringan Pengetahuan Kecemasan Ekologis (Ecoanxiety): Analisis Bibliometrik Menggunakan Vosviewer (2018-2024)
No full textThis study analyzes research trends and knowledge networks on eco-anxiety using a bibliometric approach with the support of VOSviewer software. Data were collected from 100 articles indexed in Google Scholar and published between 2018 and 2024. The results indicate a significant increase in publications, particularly since 2020, with a peak in 2024. Publications authored by Panu Pihkala occupy a central position with the highest citation counts, followed by studies by Stanley, Hogg, and Coffey, which expand the discourse on measurement, psychological impacts, and intervention strategies. Keyword mapping generated seven major clusters encompassing emotional dimensions (eco-guilt, eco-grief, coping), the relationship between eco-anxiety and pro-environmental actions, youth vulnerability, environmental education, and the role of social factors in shaping ecological anxiety. Temporal analysis reveals a shift in research focus from conceptualization toward intervention strategies and collective action. These findings highlight that eco-anxiety is a multidimensional issue relevant to psychology, education, mental health, and public policy, while also opening opportunities for cross-cultural research and the development of adaptive instruments to manage this phenomenon constructivel
Makna Sosial Budaya Dari Peta Distribusi Maleo Dalam Perspektif Konservasi Berbasis Komunitas
No full textThe maleo bird (Macrocephalon maleo) is an endemic species of Sulawesi that holds both ecological and symbolic value for local communities. The distribution of the maleo is not only determined by ecological factors such as habitat availability, environmental suitability for nesting, climate change, and predator threats, but is also closely related to the socio-cultural dynamics of the surrounding communities. This article discusses the socio-cultural meaning of the maleo distribution map with an emphasis on a community-based conservation perspective. Through geospatial data and the exploration of local wisdom practices, it is evident that maleo distribution areas often intersect with the social spaces of indigenous communities, settlements, and symbols of collective identity. The presence of the maleo is regarded as part of cultural heritage passed down through generations, giving rise to traditional protection practices, such as restrictions on excessive egg collection or the designation of customary areas as conservation zones. The community-based perspective shows that conservation is not only focused on species preservation but also on strengthening the role of local communities as key actors. By integrating ecological distribution and socio-cultural values, maleo conservation efforts are expected to be more effective, adaptive, and sustainable. This article emphasizes that the success of maleo conservation largely depends on the recognition of the cultural values attached to its distribution as well as the active participation of communities in Sulawesi
Study of Design and Implementation of 3D Printing in FRP Shipbuilding
No full text3D Printing is becoming a more reliable and professional manufacturing method. The benefits of additive manufacturing such as design optimization, weight reduction, and ease of prototyping are factors that speed up the 3D printing process. Although further research on 3D printing is still needed, in some specific applications, 3D printing can be useful. The maritime industry still uses conventional technology in shipbuilding. In addition, shipbuilding has to face very high classification requirements that compel the use of technology that ensures repeatability and high quality. The factor of the length of the process is due to difficulties in the raw materials for shipbuilding. Fiberglass is an alternative basic material for shipbuilding with sufficient material availability, relatively cheap prices, light weight, and more flexibility in catching fish. Fiberglass boats have a longer service life, corrosion resistant, light weight, low production and maintenance costs, and effectively increase fishing. The difficulty of the conventional method of hand lay-up and vacuum infusion in the construction of fiberglass boats is due to the difficulty of determining the composition of the material, as well as the emergence of air bubbles which causes a decrease in the strength of the ship. So the chopper gun method is an efficient method. This research provides information about current R&D in the field of 3D Printing application in shipbuilding, especially ships made of Fiberglass, possible benefits, methods, materials, and opportunities
