Adherencia a la dieta mediterránea en escolares de edades tempranas: análisis según el sexo, la edad y el índice de masa corporal
Get PDFThe objective of this study was to determine the adherence to the Mediterranean diet of 140 boys and girls aged between 4 and 5 years from the city ofSeville, Spain. The research focuses on 3 specific variables: Body Mass Index, age and gender. For data collection, the KIDMED questionnaire and anthropometric measurements of the Body Mass Index were used. For data analysis, the statistical program SPSS version 24.0 was used. The results of the KIDMED questionnaire do not show significant differences between boys and girls, although they are found according to age, with younger schoolchildren having better adherence to the Mediterranean diet. In relation to the Body Mass Index, most of the subjects (77.14%) have a normal weight nutritional status, that is, they present a good weight status.El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer la adherencia a la dieta mediterránea de 140 niños y niñas con edades comprendidas entre los 4 y los 5 años deedad de la ciudad de Sevilla, en España. La investigación se centra en 3 variables concretas: Índice de Masa Corporal, edad y género. Para la recogida de los datos se utilizó el cuestionario KIDMED y las medidas antropométricas del índice de Masa Corporal. Para el análisis de los datos fue utilizado el programa estadístico SPSS versión 24.0. Los resultados del cuestionario KIDMED no muestran diferencias significativas entre chicos y chicas, aunque sí se encuentran según la edad, teniendo los escolares de menor edad una mejor adherencia a la dieta mediterránea. En relación al Índice de Masa Corporal la mayoría de los sujetos (77,14%), tiene un estado nutricional de normopeso, es decir, presentan un buen estado ponderal
Inteligencia cultural de los profesores de primaria españoles y su actitud hacia los alumnos refugiados
Get PDFIn this study, the relationship between the levels of cultural intelligence of Spanish Primary Teachers and their attitude towards refugee students wasinvestigated. For this purpose, a quantitative cross-sectional study was carried out and data was analysed through linear regressions. The results supported our hypothesis, showing that high levels of cultural intelligence favour a more positive and proactive attitude on the part of teachers towards refugee children. Important practical implications suggest implementing programs to develop cultural intelligence skills among future teachers and current teachers to guarantee both their performance in the educational environment as well as the integration and educational development of students. En este estudio, se investigó la relación entre los niveles de inteligencia cultural de los Profesores de Primaria españoles y su actitud hacia los estudiantes refugiados. Para tal fin, se llevó a cabo un estudio transversal de carácter cuantitativo cuyos datos se analizaron a través de regresiones lineales. Los resultados apoyaron nuestra hipótesis, demostrando que los altos niveles de inteligencia cultural favorecen una actitud más positiva y proactiva por parte de los docentes hacia los niños refugiados. Importantes implicaciones prácticas sugieren implantar programas para desarrollar habilidades de inteligencia cultural entre los futuros profesores y docentes para garantizar tanto su desempeño en el ámbito escolar como la integración y desarrollo formativo de los alumnos

Get PDFThis paper gathers the reflections of the speeches the Popes addressed to the Roman Rota during current 21st century, which includes the pontificates of Saint John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis, on various questions related to matrimonial causes: value of the speeches and Rotal jurisprudence; concept, ends, goods and essential properties of marriage; marriage preparation and pastoral assistance for marriages and families; pathology of consent and marriage annulment; inspiring criteria of the ecclesiastical courts and, finally, the ecclesiastical judge suitability. The doctrine set forth in the speeches, although in principle addressed to the Roman Rota, is extensive to all ecclesiastical courts, as it contains guidelines explaining and clarifying matrimonial, substantive and procedural provisions, for which all members of the ecclesiastical courts must know and follow it in the development of their judicial activity. Additionally, all their actions must be inspired by the love of truth, guided by justice and charity, always keeping in mind the salus animarum, the supreme law in the Church. Likewise, papal reflections can also be useful to anyone who has an interest in understanding the reality of marriage and family.Este estudio recoge las reflexiones de los discursos de los Papas a la Rota Romana correspondientes a este siglo XXI, que incluyen el pontificado de San Juan Pablo II, de Benedicto XVI y de Francisco, sobre algunas cuestiones relativas a las causas matrimoniales: valor de los discursos y de la jurisprudencia rotal; concepto de matrimonio, fines, bienes y propiedades esenciales; preparación al matrimonio y atención pastoral a los matrimonios y a las familias; patología del consentimiento y nulidad de matrimonio; criterios inspiradores de los tribunales eclesiásticos y, por último, idoneidad del juez eclesiástico. La doctrina expuesta en los discursos, aunque se dirige, en principio, al Tribunal de la Rota Romana, es extensiva a todos los tribunales eclesiásticos, porque contiene orientaciones que explican y clarifican las disposiciones matrimoniales, sustantivas y procesales, por lo que todos los miembros de los tribunales en el desarrollo de su actividad judicial deben conocerla y seguirla caridad, teniendo en cuenta siempre la salus animarum, ley suprema en la Iglesia. Asimismo, las reflexiones papales también pueden ser útiles a cualquier persona que tenga interés en comprender la realidad del matrimonio y la familia

Get PDFIn the enclosed spaces of the Poor Clares\u27 convent of Salamanca, some singular pieces of liturgical garments were venerated for centuries as contact relics of St. Clare. According to the founding chronicles and local traditions, this pair of corporals was woven by the seraphic Mother in the cloisters ofAssisi, during an episode of her hagiography that gathers features of inventio, inventory and moral fable. These textiles provide an interesting perspective of outlining the functions given to medieval relics as constructors of memory, presence, and authority. Here are presented some notes about the materiality and textuality of the corporals from Salamanca, based on their symbolic condition as objects, stories, and images, given to them by their own contexts of female religiosity.En los espacios de su clausura, las hermanas pobres de Salamanca veneraron durante siglos unas insólitas piezas de textil litúrgico como reliquias de contacto de santa Clara de Asís. Según narran las crónicas fundacionales y la tradición local, esos corporales fueron algunos de los hilados por la seráfica madre en el convento de San Damián, en un episodio de su hagiografía que reúne rasgos de inventio, de inventario y de fábula moral. Estos tejidos suponen un interesante punto de partida desde el que esbozar las funciones dadas a las reliquias medievales como constructoras de memoria, presencia yautoridad. Al respecto, se aportan algunas notas sobre la materialidad y textualidad presentes en los corporales salmantinos a partir de la condición simbólica que, como objetos, relatos e imágenes, les otorgan sus contextos de religiosidad femenina
