La iconografía musical como contexto para la formación organológica de maestros de música: una experiencia desde el patrimonio artístico sevillano
Full text linkThis proposal involves the union between art and Sevillian pictorial heritage as a tool for the acquisition of specific didactic contents of two subjects included in the specialism in Music Education. Using musical iconography as a resource and through a methodology of observation and analysis guided by the teacher, a scheme is proposed for the understanding of organological, historical and interpretative concepts from the permanent collection of the Seville Museum of Fine Arts. Esta propuesta implica la unión entre el arte y el patrimonio pictórico sevillano como herramienta para la adquisición de contenidos didácticos específicos de dos asignaturas enmarcadas en la mención en Educación musical. A través de la iconografía musical como recurso, y mediante una metodología de observación y análisis guiada por el docente, se propone un esquema para la comprensión de conceptos organológicos, históricos e interpretativos desde la colección permanente del Museo de Bellas Artes de Sevilla
Análisis de las competencias socioemocionales en Educación Primaria
Full text linkThe purpose of this educational research was to determine the level of development of Social and Emotional Learning in a sample of Primary School students, identifying whether there are differences depending on a sociodemographic variable such as the geographical location of the school. For this purpose, the Social and Emotional Learning Scale (Fernández-Martín et al., 2022) was administered to a total of 105 students in the sixth year of Primary Education, belonging to 4 schools located in different areas of Granada. The results according to geographic location reveal that students from schools located in the metropolitan area have the highest level of socioemotional competencies, while students from rural schools have the lowest development of these competencies. In short, the initial hypothesis is partially accepted because, although the students of the school in the rural area did not show high levels, the students of the school in the metropolitan area obtained the best score. In general, the degree of development of the socioemotional competence of the participants is medium-low with respect to the scores obtained in previous studies, which demonstrates the need for educational centers to promote the learning and development of these competencies in their students.El propósito de este trabajo de investigación educativa fue determinar el nivel de desarrollo del Aprendizaje Social y Emocional en una muestra de alumnado de Educación Primaria, identificando si hay diferencias en función de una variable sociodemográfica como es la ubicación geográfica del centro educativo. Para ello, se administró la Escala de Aprendizaje Social y Emocional (Fernández-Martín et al., 2022) a un total de 105 estudiantes de sexto curso de Educación Primaria, que pertenecían a 4 centros localizados en diferentes zonas de Granada. Los resultados en función de la localización geográfica revelan que el alumnado del colegio ubicado en el área metropolitana es el que mayor nivel de competencias socioemocionales presenta, siendo el estudiantado del colegio rural el que menor desarrollo de estas competencias tiene. En definitiva, la hipótesis inicial se acepta parcialmente debido a que, aunque el alumnado del colegio de la zona rural no mostró altos niveles, el estudiantado del centro educativo de la zona metropolitana sí que obtuvo la mejor puntuación. En general, el grado de desarrollo de la competencia socioemocional de los participantes es medio-bajo con respecto a las puntuaciones obtenidas en estudios previos lo que demuestra la necesidad que tienen los centros educativos de promover el aprendizaje y desarrollo de estas competencias en su alumnado
La cobertura mediática sobre la Unión Europea y la extrema derecha. Un estudio comparado entre España, Francia e Italia
Full text linkThe parliamentary representation of far-right political parties is growing in several European Union countries, particularly after the Great Recession. This has increased the media attention they receive. These parties share eurosceptic positions or question the idea of European integration, but does their rise alter public discussion on the European Union? Using a quantitative content analysis (N=974) conducted in 6 media outlets: El País and El Mundo (Spain), Le Monde and Le Figaro (France), and Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica (Italy), the research describes and compares media coverage on issues related to the European Union before and after the Great Recession and how the rise of the far-right has affected the European public sphere. The results indicate that public discussion about the European Union is in decline and that national and top-down Europeanisation approaches are on the rise, coinciding with increased coverage of the far-right.
La representación parlamentaria de los partidos de extrema derecha crece en varios países de la Unión Europea, en especial después de la Gran Recesión. Ello hace que aumente la atención mediática que reciben. Estos partidos comparten posiciones euroescépticas o de cuestionamiento sobre la idea de integración europea, pero, su auge ¿altera la discusión pública sobre la Unión Europea? Con un análisis de contenido cuantitativo (N=974) llevado a cabo en 6 medios de comunicación: El País y El Mundo (España), Le Monde y Le Figaro (Francia) y el Corriere della Sera y La Repubblica (Italia), la investigación describe y compara la cobertura mediática sobre temas referentes a la Unión Europea antes y después de la Gran Recesión y cómo ha afectado el aumento de la extrema derecha a la esfera pública europea. Los resultados indican que la discusión pública sobre la Unión Europea está en declive y que aumentan los enfoques nacionales y de europeización vertical en coincidencia con una mayor cobertura de la extrema derecha

Full text linkIs fiction an indispensable condition for a story to be considered literature? For researchers like Gérard Genette not necessarily. There are other aspects, such as its aesthetics, that give a literary character to a text. This perspective helps to understand why in disciplines such as journalism many writers have been encouraged to create pieces that combine informative elements with resources of fiction writing. One of those authors is Juan José Millás, a Spanish writer who considers the journalistic text a literary device. Since the beginning of his career, Millás has combined his literary work with an extensive career in the media, in which he has considered different styles and genres. However, most of the research dedicated to his journalistic narrative focuses exclusively on his opinion texts. His reports have not received the same attention. This doctoral thesis arises from this gap in the studies of his career, which includes the fundamental features of these pieces and shows the author\u27s contributions to the Spanish journalistic scene.¿Es la ficción una condición indispensable para que un relato sea considerado literatura? Para estudiosos como Gérard Genette no necesariamente. Existen otros criterios, como la voluntad estética del escritor, que dotan de carácter literario a un texto. Esta perspectiva ayuda a comprender por qué en disciplinas como el periodismo muchos literatos se han animado a elaborar piezas que aúnan elementos informativos con recursos propios de la ficción. Uno de esos autores es Juan José Millás, un escritor español que considera al texto periodístico un artefacto literario. Desde el comienzo de su carrera, Millás ha simultaneado su actividad literaria con su trayectoria en los medios de comunicación, en los que ha practicado diferentes estilos y géneros. No obstante, la mayor parte de las investigaciones que abordan su narrativa periodística se centran en exclusiva en sus textos de opinión. Sus reportajes, en cambio, no han recibido la misma atención. De este vacío nace esta tesis doctoral, que recoge los rasgos fundamentales de estas piezas y sus contribuciones al panorama periodístico español

Full text linkThis thesis studies Truman Capote\u27s nonfiction texts: In Cold Blood, The Dogs Bark and Music for Chameleons. The analysis addresses two aspects: the work method and the use of narrative techniques. It will be reviewed if these points meet the requirements for the result to be considered a journalistic work. Compared to previous studies based on the premise that Capote introduced literary tools into his journalistic work, the contribution of this thesis is the study of the exercise of the profession of journalist. The study concludes that Capote\u27s work cannot be considered strictly journalism, since he never practiced it following the usual rules of the profession. The objective of his non-fiction texts was always narrative and journalism was not a purpose, but a strategy to achieve his literary ends.Esta tesis estudia los textos de no ficción de Truman Capote: A sangre fría, Los perros ladran y Música para camaleones. El análisis aborda dos aspectos: el método de trabajo y el empleo de técnicas narrativas. Se revisará si estos puntos cumplen los requisitos para que el resultado se considere un trabajo periodístico. Frente a estudios anteriores que partían de la premisa de que Capote introdujo herramientas literarias en sus trabajos periodísticos, la aportación de esta tesis es el estudio del ejercicio de la profesión de periodista. El estudio concluye que el trabajo de Capote no puede ser considerado estrictamente periodismo, puesto que nunca lo ejerció siguiendo las normas habituales de la profesión. El objetivo de sus textos de no ficción fue siempre narrativo y el periodismo no fue una finalidad, sino una estrategia para conseguir sus fines literarios

Celebrando la muerte.: El tanatorio-crematorio español en el polígono industrial.
No full textWhile not as poetic as the cemetery, and bathed in a grimmer light, the present research addresses the subject of funerary architecture involved in the farewell; the funeral parlour-crematorium. Around 60% of these buildings in Spain are located in industrial parks. Since these are the architectural representatives of the celebration of death, responsible for hosting the funeral rite, we ask ourselves, are they doing their job well?
We set out to understand the reasons behind the formalisation of this architecture in this location, and to analyse the recurrent features of its design affecting our relationship with the funerary rite. By relating funerary practices to our attitude towards death, we get a glimpse of the complexity of the issue. The reader is urged to reflect on these buildings, constructed with apparent inertia, on which little or no thought has been invested by architects.Sin ser tan poético como el cementerio, y bañado por una luz más sombría, la presente investigación trata el tema de la arquitectura funeraria involucrada en la despedida; el tanatorio-crematorio. En torno a un 60% de estos edificios en España se encuentran en polígonos industriales, y siendo estos los representantes arquitectónicos de la celebración de la muerte, responsables de acoger el rito funerario, nos preguntamos, ¿hacen bien su trabajo?
El artículo se propone como objetivo comprender las razones que hay detrás de la formalización de esta arquitectura en este lugar, y analizar qué características recurrentes en su diseño afectan a nuestra relación con el rito funerario. Relacionando las prácticas funerarias con nuestra actitud ante la muerte atisbamos la complejidad del problema, y se insta al lector a reflexionar sobre estos edificios, construidos con aparente inercia, sobre los que poco o nada se ha reflexionado desde la arquitectura
Aphorismós, between the proverbial and the apophantic
Full text linkEn este artículo, se estudian los usos de aphorismós y aphorízo en Platón y Aristóteles. El objetivo es mostrar cómo lo aforístico se encuentra en el seno de la práctica filosófica desde sus inicios, en relación con sus procesos de determinación específica y genérica, con la técnica dialéctica, con la delimitación conceptual, con la definición y con su carácter de proposición apofántica. Se muestra cómo lo proverbial constituyó siempre el hipotexto de la filosofía, y cómo las obras de los filósofos clásicos se convirtieron pronto en uno de los elementos sustentadores de muchos textos literarios. Frente a la concepción monadológica del aforismo, se defiende su carácter plural e intertextual. Por último, a la luz de los textos de Platón y de Aristóteles, se defiende la tesis de que el aforismo es la conclusión de un argumento en el que las premisas han sido omitidas.This article studies the uses of aphorismós and aphorízo in Plato and Aristotle. The aim is to show how the aphoristic is found in the heart of philosophical practice from its beginnings, in relation to its processes of specific and generic determination, to dialectical technique, to conceptual delimitation, to definition and to its character as an apophantic proposition. It shows how the proverbial always constituted the hypotext of philosophy, and how the works of classical philosophers soon became one of the supporting elements of many literary texts. Against the monadological conception of the aphorism, its plural and intertextual character is defended. Finally, in the light of Plato\u27s and Aristotle\u27s texts, the thesis is defended that the aphorism is the conclusion of an argument in which the premises have been omitted
The rhetorical-textual configuration of microtext: brevity, semantic intensity and communicative pressure
Full text linkEste artículo trata de la configuración de los microtextos teniendo en cuenta los fundamentos retóricos y culturales de estos textos. La brevedad textual, la intensidad semántica, la masa y la densidad del referente y el significado, la fuerza semántica y la tensión de la interpretación son elementos constituyentes del microtextema, unidad del sistema. La acción conjunta de estos elementos desemboca en una presión comunicativa de base pragmática y retórica. En el artículo se presta especial atención al papel de la impronta aforística en microtextos situados más allá del aforismo, así como al microrrelato como un subgénero narrativo de gran desarrollo y aceptación actual. La situación de algunos microtextos en el patrimonio cultural textual es considerada en cuanto a su contribución a la base retórico-cultural del microtextema.This article deals with the configuration of microtexts taking into account the rhetorical and cultural foundations of these texts. The textual brevity, the semantic intensity, the mass and density of referent and meaning, the semantic strength, and the tension in interpretation are constituent elements of the micro-texteme, that is a unit of system. The joint action of these elements results in a communicative pressure that is pragmatically and rhetorically based. Special attention is paid in the article to the role of aphoristic imprint in microtexts beyond aphorism, as well as to short short story (short tale) as a narrative sub-genre with a current great development and acceptance. The status of some microtexts in the textual cultural heritage is viewed as to its contribution to the rhetorical-cultural basis of micro-texteme
