Reliability of the selected technical analysis indicator
No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývala tématem technické analýzy. Konkrétně se jednalo o hodnocení spolehlivosti indikátoru Supertrend. Zpětné testování bylo provedeno celkem na dvaceti devíti akciových titulech, jež jsou obsaženy v indexu DJIA. Sledované období bylo stanoveno na třináct let, přičemž začínalo rokem 2010 a končilo rokem 2023. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit, zda je obchodování na základě indikátoru Supertrend schopné generovat výnosy a zda jsou případně tyto výnosy srovnatelné s těmi dosažitelnými pomocí metody BAH. Pro účely naplnění tohoto cíle bylo testováno několik variant obchodování s tímto indikátorem. Výstupy poukázaly na vliv krátkých pozic, poplatků a nastavení parametrů na výsledky obchodování.ObhájenoThis master's thesis dealt with the topic of technical analysis. More specifically, it was an assessment of the reliability of the Supertrend indicator. Backtesting was performed on a total of twenty-nine equity titles that are included in the DJIA index. The monitored period was set at thirteen years, starting from 2010 and ending in 2023. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate whether trading based on the Supertrend indicator can generate returns and whether these returns are comparable to those achievable using the BAH method. To fulfill this goal, several variants of trading with this indicator were tested. The outputs pointed to the effect of short positions, fees, and parameter settings on trading results

Teoretická část se zabývá epidemiologií, klinickými projevy, rizikovými faktory, screeningovými programy a léčbou karcinomu kolorekta, prsu, děložního hrdla a plic. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první části je zkoumán vliv screeningových programů na incidenci nádorových onemocnění v ČR. The introduction of the thesis describes the material and common manufacturing procedures. This is followed by a description of the creation and results of the model simulation in the COMSOL Multiphysics software. Relation of bus dwell time with the type of vehicle
No full textTato práce se zabývá analýzou souvislostí mezi dobou odbavení a typem vozidla městské hromadné dopravy (MHD) na příkladu autobusové linky 33 Plzeňských městských dopravních podniků. Pro účely práce byla získána, očištěna, analyzována a interpretována provozní data o době stanicování a obratu cestujících pro dva typy autobusů stejné délkové kategorie lišící se počtem dveří (SOR NB 12 a SOR NS 12). V teoretické části jsou uvedeny faktory ovlivňující dobu odbavení, představen dopravce, vozidla i zkoumaná linka, a dále využití big dat a základy testování hypotéz. Praktická část je pak zaměřena na analýzu doby odbavení dvou autobusů s rozdílným počtem dveří. Využito je základní popisné statistiky, testování hypotéz a jednoduché regresní analýzy. Ukazuje se, že vyšší počet dveří přispívá k rychlejší výměně cestujících, ale že na nejfrekventovanější plzeňské lince pro danou kategorii vozidel činí průměrný rozdíl v dobách odbavování jednu vteřinu (největší průměrný rozdíl - 5 vteřin - nastává při frekvenci odpovídající méně než 1 % pozorování). Kromě samotných výsledků práce přináší zajímavé poznatky i v oblasti zpracování provozních big dat, neboť byly v procesu přípravy identifikovány nekonzistentní údaje, které by jinak snadno vedly ke zkresleným výsledkům. Na základě výsledků práce jsou vyvozeny závěry a navrhována doporučení pro dopravce, diskutována jsou také omezení výzkumu.ObhájenoThis work deals with the analysis of correlations between dwell time and the type of vehicles in urban public transportation (PT) using the example of bus line 33 of the Pilsen city transportation company. For the purposes of this work, operational data on dwell time and passenger turnover were obtained, cleaned, analyzed, and interpreted for two types of buses of the same length category but differing in the number of doors (SOR NB 12 and SOR NS 12). The theoretical part introduces factors influencing dwell time, presents the carrier, vehicles, and the studied route, as well as the use of big data and basics of hypothesis testing. The practical part focuses on analyzing the dwell time of two buses with different numbers of doors. Basic descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and simple regression analysis are utilized. It is shown that a higher number of doors contributes to faster passenger turnover, but on the busiest Pilsen route for the given vehicle category, the average difference in boarding times is one second (the largest average difference - 5 seconds - occurs at a frequency corresponding to less than 1% of observations). In addition to the actual results of the work, interesting findings are also provided in the area of operational big data processing, as inconsistent data were identified in the preparation process, which could otherwise easily lead to distorted results. Based on the results of the work, conclusions are drawn and recommendations for the carrier are proposed, with discussions on research limitations also included
An online escape game focused on selected topics of the new RVP for informatics for elementary school (2nd grade)
No full textPrimárním cílem práce bylo vytvořit on-line únikovou hru, která je zaměřená na vybraná témata vzdělávací oblasti Informatika v novém RVP ZV z roku 2021, a to včetně metodického materiálu pro učitele. Účelem hry je, aby posloužila jako podpůrný materiál, který by mohl pomoci se snazším zavedením některých témat z informatiky, a to ať už formou celé hry, či pouze jako možná inspirace na nápady k tvorbě dalších aktivit.
Předtím, než mohl být splněn hlavní cíl, muselo být realizováno dotazníkové šetření pro pedagogy, kteří vyučují informatiku na 2. stupni ZŠ. Byli dotazováni, aby označili učivo, které je dle nich obtížné zavést do výuky. Na základě výsledků pak bylo vybráno 6 oblastí, které získaly nejvíce hlasů a z nichž bylo vytvořeno 6 aktivit. Dále byly vytvořeny další 4 aktivity, které lze zařadit mezi logické úlohy.
Jakmile byla hra dokončena, byla odeslána k testování mezi žáky 6. a 7. ročníku, kteří následně vyplnili dotazník se zpětnou vazbou. Ten se týkal jejich zkušeností s hrou a zjišťoval, které úlohy je bavily, co jim dělalo při hře potíže, zda byla srozumitelná a atraktivní. Podle zjištěných informací od žáků byla hra následně upravena do své finální podoby.ObhájenoThe primary goal of the work was to create an online escape game, which is focused on selected topics of the educational field of Informatics in the new RVP ZV from 2021, including methodological material for teachers. The purpose of the game is to serve as a supporting material that could help with the easier introduction of some informatics topics, either in the form of a whole game, or only as a possible inspiration for ideas for the creation of other activities.
Before the main goal could be fulfilled, a questionnaire survey had to be carried out for pedagogues who teach informatics at the 2nd level of elementary school. They were asked to indicate the subject matter that, according to them, is difficult to introduce into teaching. Based on the results, 6 areas were selected that received the most votes and from which 6 activities were created. In addition, 4 other activities were created, which can be classified as logical tasks.
Once the game was completed, it was sent out for testing among 6th and 7th grade students, who then completed a feedback questionnaire. The latter related to their experience with the game and found out which tasks they enjoyed, what caused them difficulties during the game, whether it was comprehensible and attractive. According to the information obtained from the students, the game was subsequently modified into its final form
Perception of an avatar in virtual reality
No full textTato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku virtuální reality, avatary ve virtuální realitě a pojetí avatarů v současném stavu. Dále se zaměřuje na VR školící aplikace pro průmyslové podniky, které upravuje. Následně poskytuje teoretický podklad k měření a popis měření. V poslední řadě se zabývá vyhodnocováním výsledků z měření a jejich hodnocením. Hlavními cíli práce jsou: poskytnutí teoretických podkladů pro VR, avatary a měření, upravení aplikací, provedení měření, vyhodnocení a zhodnocení výsledků. Hlavními přínosy je poskytnutí vhledu na percepci avatarů v prostředí průmyslových podniků ale i mimo ně.ObhájenoThis thesis focuses on the issues of virtual reality, avatars in virtual reality and the concept of avatars in the current state. It also focuses on VR training applications for industrial concerns, which it modifies. Subsequently, it provides theoretical background to the measurement and description of the said measurement. Lastly, it discusses the evaluation of the results from the measurements and their evaluation. The main objectives of the paper are: providing theoretical background for VR, avatars and measurements, modifying the applications, performing the measurements, and evaluating the results. The main contributions are to provide insight into the perception of avatars in industrial settings but also outside
