Analysis of the Factors Affecting The Success of Quality Family Villages in Bahar Selatan District, Muaro Jambi Regency
This study aims to analyze the influence of perception, interpersonal communication, and motivation for family planning on quality family villages in Bahar Selatan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis, with primary data obtained through a questionnaire by conducting direct interviews with 93 respondents of reproductive age couples. The analysis tool employs multiple linear regression with statistical hypothesis testing for both F and t statistics. The research results simultaneously indicate that perception, interpersonal communication, and motivation for family planning are positively related to quality family villages. Partially, it shows that perception, interpersonal communication, and motivation for family planning have a positive relationship with quality family villages in Bahar Selatan District, Muaro Jambi Regency
The Influence of Accountability and Transparency on the Effectiveness of Village Fund Budget Implementation at the Village Government Work Unit of Sungai Bertam in the District of Jambi, outside the City Muaro Jambi Regency
This study examines the influence of accountability and transparency on the effectiveness of village fund budget implementation at the Sungai Bertam Village Government Work Unit, Muaro Jambi Regency. Using a quantitative approach, primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to community members, with 97 valid responses analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that accountability and transparency both have a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of village fund budget implementation. These findings suggest that stronger governance practices enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and goal attainment of village development programs. The study contributes to public sector governance literature by providing micro-level, community-based evidence under Indonesia’s current village fund regulatory framework and offers practical insights for improving accountability and transparency in village financial management
Empowering Inclusive Learning: The Role of Technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Information Technology (IT) in Special Education
The integration of emerging technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Information Technology (IT), is reshaping the landscape of special education. As inclusive education becomes a global imperative, these digital innovations offer transformative potential in supporting learners with diverse needs. This paper explores the current applications, challenges, and opportunities presented by AI and IT in special education, with a focus on the Malaysian context. Guided by action research methodology, the study examines how educators, caregivers, and stakeholders perceive and utilise AI-driven tools and IT platforms to enhance teaching and learning. Data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis revealed that AI tools significantly improve student engagement, especially among learners with autism and learning disabilities. However, barriers such as infrastructure limitations, lack of teacher training, and cultural adaptation of technology persist. This paper concludes by recommending inclusive digital strategies, localised AI solutions, and targeted professional development to bridge gaps in accessibility and equity in special education
Behavioural Analysis of Non Verbal Communication in Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
This study examined the non-verbal communication strategies used by autistic children in classroom settings, focusing on gestures, facial expressions, and body movements. Many autistic children experience difficulties with verbal communication, making non-verbal cues essential for expressing emotions, needs, and intentions. However, these cues are often subtle, repetitive, or inconsistent, which creates challenges for teachers and caregivers to interpret them effectively. This research aims to understand how these childrencommunicate non-verbally and the difficulties educators face in recognising these behaviours. Dnisingata were collected through classroom observations and interviews with experienced special education teachers. The findings revealed that while autistic children commonly use non-verbal communication, the lack of consistency and clarity in these cues often hinders effective interaction. The study highlights the need for better training and support for teachers to enhance their understanding and interpretation of non-verbal behaviors. It contributes to improving inclusive education and communication strategies for autistic children
Exploring The Use Of Code-Switching In English Primary Classrooms: Perspective Of In-Service Teachers
Code-switching is a linguistic phenomenon where speakers alternate between languages within a conversation. It has been widely researched as a teaching tool in multilingual classrooms. This study explores the role of code-switching in primary school classrooms from the perspective of in-service teachers. In recent studies, it examines how teachers utilise code-switching to facilitate learning and address students’ linguistic diversity (Rahmat, 2021). Employing mixed-methods, this research focuses on understanding behind code-switching, its perceived benefits and its potential challenges in fostering language acquisition and classroom interaction. Findings indicate that in-service teachers perceive code-switching as a beneficial yet situational tool, mainly used to aid comprehension, support lower-proficiency students, and manage classroom interactions. However, they also recognise the importance of limiting its use to ensure sufficient English language exposure. This study highlights the need for a balanced approach to code-switching in ESLinstruction, ensuring that its use remains purposeful and beneficial. Future research could examine how alternative teaching strategies can complement code-switching. Additionally, further studies could investigate students’ perceptions of code-switching and its long-term impact on language developmen
The Effectiveness of Nonverbal Communication in Virtual Learning Environment
Concerns regarding students' capacity to comprehend course material completely, engage in conversations, and maintain motivation throughout their learning process are raised by the absence of good nonverbal communication in virtual learning environment. As such, understanding the effectiveness of nonverbal gestures displayed by teachers of educators in virtual learning environment. This study is meant to understanding of the impact of effective nonverbal communication on students’ understanding, engagement and motivation when classes are conducted via online. Focusing on public university students, this study has gathered responses from Science Marine students of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Based on the responses from 385 students, it is found that there is a positive relationship among the effectiveness of nonverbal communication, students’ understanding, engagement and motivation. Students understand the lesson better when the educators use nonverbal gestures to facilitate the delivery of lessons. They also feel motivated to study and to participate when teachers display expressive behaviors. The findings shows that teachers are educators must learn and understand the appropriate gestures to display and how to ensure it is delivered through online platforms
Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) and firm value: Study on IDX ESG Leader Index emitters
In the last decade, investments that consider environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors have become a priority for companies oriented towards long-term sustainability. This awareness drives the integration of ESG policies into business operations aimed at expanding markets and increasing profitability. This study aims to measure the impact of ESG on company value, focusing on issuers included in the IDX ESG Leaders listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2023 as the research sample. ESG is measured with three indicators, namely Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance. The Firm value is measured using Tobin's and employs control variables such as company size (LOGTA), the ratio of capital expenditure to assets (CAPEX/ASSETS), profitability (ROA), and leverage (LEVERAGE). Descriptive analysis and regression methods with a Fixed Effect Model approach, using Stata. The research results show that the ESG pillar of IDX ESG Leaders has a significant negative impact on company value due to several factors such as high investment costs and the implementation of ESG in environmentally friendly technology, social programs, and governance reforms in the short term. And the tendency of investors from developing countries to focus more on short-term financial results. The Influence of Special Allocation Funds, General Allocation Funds, and Regional Original Income on Poverty Alleviation through Per Capita Income as an Intervening Variable
This study aims to influence Special Allocation Funds, General Allocation Funds and Local Original Income on Poverty Eradication through Per Capita Income in Jambi City. The research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis with secondary data types, with path analysis tools. The results of the study indicate that general allocation funds and local original income have a significant effect on per capita income in Jambi City, while special allocation funds do not have a significant effect on per capita income in Jambi City, while the results of the study show that special allocation funds, general allocation funds, local original income and per capita income have a significant effect on poverty levels in Jambi City
Social Media Impact on Body Image and Body Standard among Young Women
This research investigates the impact between social media usage body image among young women. It is also examining the relationship between exposure to idealized body standard and young women body standard. The social media becoming an integral part of daily life, social media usage, social comparison and exposure to idealized body standards have been linked to body dissatisfaction. Past research has examined the connection between young women body image and their use of social media. The quantitative methods were applied and data were collected by distribution of questionnaires to 430 respondents aged 18-29 years old at Klang Valley. The finding shown there is the relationship between social media usage and young adult’s body image and positive relationship between exposure to idealized body standard ang young women image. This research highlight on sensitive content producers must be when creating material that could affect how people perceive their bodies. By being aware of the impact idealized portrayals can have on young women, content producers can create more responsible material that encourages self-acceptance. For future research suggest to examine the effect of social media exposure on male body image would offer a more thorough knowledge of how various gender experience
