Facial Recognition Smart Security Door
A computer lab is a place that offers computer services to a specific population. Normally, colleges and universities give a large number of computer labs to their learners. It was an important space for individuals to come for lectures and improve their computer skills. It often has very valuable computers and items. However, sometimes the security elements of a computer lab for some unauthorized employees may not be up to the standard and easy to break. Hence, the idea is to create an advanced security system named “Smart Security Door Using Facial Recognition” for the computer labs in Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech Mara Kuala Lumpur (KUPTM). The system will have three different users, which are the Admin, Lecturer, and Students. Admin would be able to access the database of the system to registers faces of authorized personnel and access the logs of users that access the computer labs. Meanwhile, the lecturer and students would only be able to access the computer labs during lectures. In conclusion, this facial recognition system would help to enhance security and protect the computer labs from a thief or unauthorized personnel

Every human being need a sufficient amount of high-quality sleep. However, according to studies, both men and women are becoming more afflicted by sleep disorders, which are particularly prevalent among university students. Nowadays, sleep problems are a frequent occurrence in people's daily lives. Due to the fact that female students have more difficulty falling asleep and continuously wake up earlier than male students, they are more impacted than their male counterparts. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to determine the prevalence of sleeping disorders between males and females among Music and Performing Art students in the institutes of higher learning. The survey was conducted online in June 2020. One hundred students from the faculty participated in this cross-sectional study. Simple random sampling used to select the samples. Students who took part in this survey were predominately female, 52% and male, 48%. The study found that here is a statistically significant difference between male and female Music and Performing Art students in the institutes of higher learning when it comes to sleeping disorder. The findings of the study revealed that there is a statistically significant difference in sleeping disorders between males and females’ students enrolled in a higher education institution. Hence, male and female morphologic differences in the context of sleeping difficulties may be revealed as a result of our study, which may provide information and evidence of such differences

Impacts of Achievement in Secondary School on Performance in Accounting Professional Examinations in Bumiputra’s Academic Institution
Professional accounting examinations among students and mature students were perceived as slightly challenging to pass for several reasons. Some previous empirical studies have compared students' results at the secondary school level and their results at higher education levels. Good students are expected to perform similarly in their higher education during school. In accounting professional examinations like ACCA, past studies have shown that only students with excellent results in secondary school should be allowed to join this programme as many students are having difficulties completing their studies. The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between the student’s past achievement in a secondary school based on the total numbers of A's and distinctions for a particular subject at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) – a national examination similar to O-Level with their performance in the examination of ACCA. This study focuses on Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA – a private university college in Kuala Lumpur. The methodology used in this study is by collecting data from the Institute of Professional Studies in KUPTM Academic Division database intake from 2015 until 2018. Data were analysed using SPSS Version 23. Our results showed that most students with 6 A’s and above, and A’s in Additional Mathematic subject in SPM is the main contributing factor to graduating in the ACCA examination, followed by distinction A’s in Additional Mathematic and A’s in English subject. Students from science stream backgrounds also contributed to the number of graduating in the ACCA professional examination. Other than that, this study reveals the distinction in Principles of Accounting subject during SPM and factor of gender do not contribute positive impact to be graduated or pass in professional accounting examinations in KUPTM
Understanding Muslim Consumer Behavior: The Financial Literacy Link to Islamic Product Purchase
Understanding the determinants of consumer intention to purchase Islamic products is crucial in the expanding global Islamic finance market. This study examines the role of financial literacy in influencing Muslim consumers' purchasing intentions, providing insights into how informed financial decision-making aligns with Islamic principles. While prior research highlights the significance of financial literacy in economic behavior, limited attention has been paid to its specific impact on the consumption of Sharia-compliant products, especially when integrated with factors like electronic word-of-mouth (eWoM). Addressing this gap, the study employs a quantitative methodology using a structured survey distributed to Muslim consumers. Analysis was conducted via SPSS to assess the correlation between financial literacy and purchase intention. Key findings indicate a strong positive relationship between financial literacy and the inclination to engage with Islamic products, underscoring its role in fostering consumer confidence and ethical financial practices. By advancing understanding in this area, the paper contributes to bridging the literature gap, emphasizing financial literacy as a pivotal factor in the decision-making process. This research not only informs marketers and policymakers on strategies to enhance financial education but also provides a foundation for future studies to explore its interaction with digital and cultural variables. Future research should delve deeper into longitudinal and cross-cultural analyses to generalize findings and develop tailored educational initiatives that further integrate financial literacy into Muslim consumer behavior frameworks
