AIGC Helps Students in Pre-education to Improve Digital Teaching Ability
To enhance the digital teaching capabilities of preschool education majors, Qingdao Hengxing University has constructed an AIGC technology integration path from three aspects: training system, teaching paradigm, and practical ecology. In terms of the training system, with the framework of "concept innovation - institutional guarantee - resource integration", it is incorporated into the professional development plan, a three-level linkage management mechanism is established, and government-industry-university-research- application collaboration is carried out to obtain resources. In the teaching paradigm, a three- tier curriculum matrix is built, integrating AIGC with general education, core courses, and innovative projects to achieve a balance between instrumental and value rationality. In the practical ecology, a practical training network connecting virtual simulation, campus practice, and kindergarten application is constructed. Through the virtual kindergarten system, maker space, and the "1+1+1" kindergarten practice model, it promotes the transformation of students' technical application capabilities from theory to practice, providing support for the cultivation of digital talents in preschool education
A Study on the Application of Situational Teaching Methods in Cultivating Interest in Physical Education among First-Grade Primary School Students in the Context of Ideological and Political Education
According to the principles of the "Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)", physical education should be optimized and contextualized to make even monotonous activities like walking and running lively and engaging. Due to its unique nature, physical education possesses an educational function that cannot be replaced by other subjects. Situational teaching methods, by simulating real-life scenarios, not only enhance students' interest in sports but also integrate them with ideological and political elements. This not only aligns with the requirements of educational reform in the new era but also offers a new approach to primary school education. This study involved first-grade students from Huayang Primary School in Tianhe District, Guangzhou. Class 4 served as the experimental group (situational teaching combined with ideological and political elements) and Class 3 served as the control group (conventional teaching). Using questionnaires, experiments, and mathematical statistics, a 16-week comparative experiment was conducted to assess students' athletic ability and physical education interest. The results showed that: (1) the experimental group performed significantly better than the control group in the 50m run, vital capacity, rope skipping, sit-and-reach tests (p<0.01); (2) the experimental group's interest in physical education was significantly higher than that of the control group (119.71±7.562 vs. 78.70±5.346, p<0.01). Conclusion: The first-grade physical education curriculum contains a wealth of teaching contexts. The situational teaching method is scientific and effective in improving athletic ability and learning interest, and can better stimulate students' interest in sports and promote their all-round development
Expansive Teaching Approach in Mental Health Education: A Theoretical Study in Chinese Vocational Colleges
Mental health education plays a vital role in fostering the holistic development of students in higher vocational colleges, where learners often face academic pressure, career uncertainty, and social adaptation challenges. However, traditional lecture-based psychological courses tend to emphasize theoretical knowledge while neglecting students’ engagement and practical psychological skills. To address this gap, this paper explores the theoretical application of the Expansive Teaching Approach in mental health education for vocational students in China. Drawing on Vygotsky’s developmental theory, Activity Theory, and constructivist pedagogy, the Expansive Teaching Approach emphasizes learner-centered participation, open exploration, and the integration of real-life contexts into the curriculum. This paper develops a conceptual framework that situates expansive teaching within three interrelated dimensions—cognitive expansion, emotional expansion, and behavioral expansion—and analyzes how these dimensions can be embedded into course objectives, instructional design, and classroom strategies. The study argues that this approach can enhance students’ self-awareness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal competence, while also cultivating resilience and adaptability. At the same time, potential challenges are discussed, including limited teaching resources, teacher preparedness, and institutional constraints. By providing a theoretical model and pedagogical implications, this paper contributes to the innovation of mental health education in vocational colleges and offers directions for future empirical studies and curriculum reforms
Services for Enhancing Elementary School Teachers’ Competence in Conducting Developmental Research Oriented toward the Quality of Learning
The results of observations on elementary school teachers’ ability to plan and implement developmental research indicate that these competencies remain very low, particularly in terms of conceptual mastery and the preparation of developmental research plans. This condition is further supported by previous studies reporting that continuing professional development activities are still very weak in the area of scientific research. The objective of this community service program (PKM) was to improve elementary school teachers’ mastery of developmental research concepts and their skills in preparing developmental research plans in the city of Mataram. The methods applied included: (1) case-based learning to instil concepts and theories of developmental research; (2) workshop methods to enhance scientific attitudes; and (3) project-based activities to develop skills in preparing developmental research plans. The target participants consisted of 20 teachers representing elementary schools in the city of Mataram. The outcomes of the PKM activities were evaluated using observation techniques, including observations of improvements in conceptual and theoretical mastery and assessments of the proposal products of developmental research. The results of the PKM showed: (1) an increase in the average percentage of knowledge mastery from 64.65% before the PKM activities to 81.55% after the activities; (2) an improvement in scientific attitudes from an average of 65.90% before the workshop to 82.95% after the workshop; and (3) an increase in skills in preparing developmental research plans from an average of 65.85% before the project-based proposal development activities to 82.20% after the activities. It can be concluded that the PKM activities were effective in improving knowledge, scientific attitudes, and skills in preparing developmental research proposals oriented toward the quality of learning among elementary school teachers in the city of Mataram. It is expected that the participants will implement and disseminate the outcomes of this PKM to teachers in their respective schools

Latar belakang: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia pada organisasi nirlaba berbasis agama Kristen yang menghadapi keberagaman usia dan nilai antar generasi, di mana Compassion Indonesia menjadi konteks empiris untuk memahami bagaimana hubungan industrial, manajemen talenta, dan praktik manajemen kinerja berinteraksi dalam era digital; kebutuhan untuk menyelaraskan nilai spiritual organisasi dengan tuntutan efisiensi digital mendorong kajian ini. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain campuran dengan survei kuantitatif terhadap 100 karyawan yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling untuk menangkap variasi generasi dan fungsi kerja, serta wawancara kualitatif mendalam dengan 20 informan kunci (manajer Human Resource, pemimpin program, dan perwakilan generasi muda dan senior) untuk menggali makna, praktik, dan hambatan implementasi manajemen talenta digital; analisis kuantitatif melibatkan regresi berganda dan uji mediasi untuk menilai pengaruh hubungan industrial dan manajemen talenta terhadap kinerja, sedangkan analisis tematik digunakan pada data kualitatif untuk triangulasi. Hasil: Temuan menunjukkan bahwa hubungan industrial yang transparan dan partisipatif memperkuat efektivitas program manajemen talenta digital, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan indikator kinerja individu dan tim; khususnya, platform pembelajaran digital, sistem penilaian kinerja berbasis kompetensi, dan jalur pengembangan karier yang sensitif generasi berkontribusi signifikan terhadap motivasi dan retensi; integrasi nilai spiritual sebagai landasan etika kerja memperkuat komitmen organisasi namun memerlukan adaptasi komunikasi lintas generasi; implikasi praktis mencakup rekomendasi kebijakan Human Resource yang menggabungkan teknologi, pelatihan lintas generasi, dan mekanisme hubungan industrial proaktif untuk meningkatkan kinerja di organisasi nirlaba
THE USE OF ENGLISH-LANGUAGE STICKERS IN VIRAL EATERIES TO INCREASE YOUNG PEOPLE'S INTEREST IN LEARNING ENGLISH IN DENPASAR
English is an international language that plays a vital role in the era of globalization, particularly in tourism, education, and the professional world. However, English proficiency among young people in Indonesia, including those in Denpasar, still faces several challenges. One major obstacle is limited vocabulary mastery, which hinders their ability to understand texts, follow conversations, and express ideas both orally and in writing. This condition often reduces students’ confidence to use English in daily communication. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed to enhance vocabulary acquisition in a simple, engaging, and youth-oriented way. This study introduces the use of English-language stickers as a medium for incidental learning in public spaces, specifically at three popular dining spots in Denpasar—Kopi Jaya, Nasi Jinggo Bu Jero, and Nasi Jinggo Gundul. These stickers serve not only as aesthetic elements but also as educational tools that present simple and contextual vocabulary that is easy to comprehend. Due to their visual and repetitive nature, as well as their closeness to young people’s social environments, the stickers are expected to stimulate intrinsic motivation and strengthen vocabulary internalization. The research applies a qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data using a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The objectives are to (1) identify factors contributing to low English vocabulary proficiency among young people in Denpasar, (2) examine the role of stickers as an incidental learning medium, and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of English stickers in public spaces in enhancing motivation to learn English. The findings are expected to contribute meaningfully to students by improving vocabulary and motivation, to teachers as an alternative non-formal learning strategy, and to future researchers as a reference for developing simple, low-cost, and impactful learning media that connect formal learning with real-life experiences
TINJAUAN SISTEMATIS PROPERTI PSIKOMETRIK ALAT UKUR COGNITIVE TRIAD SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN DETEKSI DINI RISIKO DEPRESI
Depresi merupakan suatu kondisi pada individu yang ditandai dengan tidak memiliki kepuasan dan juga kesenangan, sehingga timbul perasaan sedih dan dapat berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan sehari-hari. Prevalensi depresi di Indonesia pada masa dewasa awal sekitar 27,86%. Gejala depresi dapat terjadi dikarenakan tiga pola pikiran negatif (cognitive triad) dan kecenderungan mencela diri. Pencegahan depresi dapat dilakukan dengan mengenali atau mendeteksi tiga pola pikiran negatif (cognitive triad). Langkah awal untuk mendeteksi, dapat dilakukan dengan mengukur tingkat cognitive triad menggunakan alat ukur atau instrumen yang telah teruji kualitas psikometriknya. Penelitian ini merupakan systematic literature review yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi properti psikometrik dari alat ukur yang telah dikembangkan maupun diadaptasi. Proses seleksi artikel menggunakan pedoman PRISMA. Kriteria inklusi yaitu: alat ukur cognitive triad, adaptasi maupun terjemahan, berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia, dan memiliki hasil reliabilitas dan validitas. Hasil penelusuran literatur diperoleh sejumlah 6 artikel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat alat ukur yang sudah teruji kualitas psikometrik. Alat ukur-alat ukur cognitive triad yang ada saat ini memiliki koefisien reliabilitas yang memuaskan, ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien Cronbach’s alpha (ɑ) 0.91-0.95 dan reliabilitas test-retest memiliki hasil yang baik dengan nilai koefisien 0.83-0.88. Validitas isi, konstruk, dan kriteria juga telah dilakukan dan memiliki hasil yang baik. Peneliti Indonesia telah mengadaptasi alat ukur cognitive triad for children dan memiliki reliabilitas dan validitas baik yang dapat digunakan oleh remaja Indonesia untuk mengenali tiga pola pikiran negatif. Namun, alat ukur tersebut hanya terbatas untuk remaja dan saat ini belum ada untuk dewasa awal sehingga perlu pengembangan alat ukur untuk dewasa awal
Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Dalung melalui Edukasi dan Pendampingan Pengisian SPT Tahunan Bagi Wajib Pajak Orang Pribadi Di Desa Dalung
Pajak merupakan sumber utama penerimaan negara yang berperan penting dalam pembiayaan pembangunan nasional. Namun, tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi di tingkat desa masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama rendahnya literasi perpajakan, keterbatasan pemahaman regulasi, serta minimnya keterampilan teknis dalam pengisian Surat Pemberitahuan (SPT) Tahunan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Dalung melalui program edukasi dan pendampingan pengisian SPT Tahunan bagi wajib pajak orang pribadi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi perpajakan, pelatihan teknis pengisian SPT Tahunan orang pribadi menggunakan e-Filing, serta pendampingan langsung secara berkelompok dan individual. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan perangkat desa dan tokoh masyarakat guna meningkatkan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai kewajiban dan hak perpajakan, jenis-jenis SPT Tahunan orang pribadi, serta prosedur pengisian dan pelaporan SPT secara elektronik. Selain itu, pendampingan intensif mampu mengurangi kesalahan pengisian SPT dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri masyarakat dalam memenuhi kewajiban perpajakan secara mandiri. Dampak sosial yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya kesadaran kolektif tentang pentingnya kepatuhan pajak, perubahan perilaku masyarakat menuju kepatuhan sukarela, serta munculnya kader atau penggerak lokal yang mampu menjadi rujukan perpajakan di tingkat desa. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepatuhan pajak masyarakat Desa Dalung, tetapi juga mendukung penguatan tata kelola perpajakan berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat desa secara berkelanjutan
TRADITIONAL MARKET PRICE NEGOTIATIONS IN BALI: AN ETHNOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF PARTICIPATORY PRICE-SETTING PROCESSES
The prices of goods sold in traditional Balinese markets often reflect mutual agreements between sellers and buyers, based on more complex considerations than simply cost and profit. This process adds value to sellers, who can maintain long-term relationships with buyers, and to buyers who feel valued in these social interactions. This study uses a qualitative research design, namely participatory ethnography with a phenomenological approach that aims to understand the practice of price negotiation as a meaningful social practice in the context of Balinese traditional markets, and to map the participatory price determination process (actors, strategies, norms, and institutional context). Data were collected through participant observation and in-depth interviews with traders and buyers in traditional markets. The results indicate that, first, prices for basic commodities are relatively uniform among sellers due to unwritten agreements and common sources of production. Second, there are no standard rules in the negotiation mechanism; everything takes place based on an agreement between seller and buyer, which is based on trust and communication skills. Third, despite the rapid growth of modern markets and online shopping, traditional markets remain the community's choice due to their affordability, proximity, and inherent social value. Fourth, bargaining activities are the main attraction of traditional markets because they provide space for active participation for buyers while strengthening social relations with traders. Theoretically, these findings confirm the relevance of the concept of embeddedness in explaining the link between economic practices and social norms, social exchange theory in understanding the reciprocal relations between sellers and buyers, and habitus in describing societal preferences that are formed over generations. This study concludes that traditional markets in Bali are not just arenas for the exchange of goods, but also socio-cultural spaces that uphold the values of justice, togetherness, and trust. Therefore, the sustainability of traditional markets needs to be supported not only through strengthening economic and infrastructure aspects, but also through preserving the cultural values that underpin interactions within them
Antibacterial Activity of Earthworm Extract (Lumbricus rubellus) from Organic Farmland in Bali Agaist Streptococcus pyogenes Bacteria
Introduction: Bacterial infections are still a global health problem. Severe bacterial infections can lead to morbidity and mortality. Streptococcus pyogenes (S.pyogenes) is one of the bacteria that causes health problems including pharyngitis, necrotizing fasciitis, and even toxic shock syndrome. Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections, but the incidence of antibiotic resistance is currently very worrying. Earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) contains various substances that have the potential to be antibacterial, one of which is lumbricin-1. Aim: This study aims to test the antibacterial activity of earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) from organic farmland in Bali against S. pyogenes bacteria. Method: This study is an experimental study. Twenty-five samples were divided into 5 groups, namely the negative control group, positive control, and 3 extract treatment groups (50%, 75%, and 100%). The method used was the disc diffusion test method. Results: The results of the observation found the inhibitory power of earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) from organic farmland in Bali against S. pyogenes bacteria at various extract concentrations (p <0.05). The inhibitory ability of earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) from organic farmland in Bali against S. pyogenes is in the strong category. Conclusion: Earthworm extract (Lumbricus rubellus) from organic farmland in Bali has strong inhibitory ability against S. pyogenes bacteria and the effect is found to be dose dependent. Contribution: This research is expected to be a reference and basis for finding new sources of antibiotics from nature and developing earthworms from organic farmland in Bali towards phytopharmaceutical
