This study investigated the role of perceived usage of the conversational GPT-4 AI model in cybercrimes and social media addictions among residents in Makurdi Nigeria. The cross-sectional survey involved 200 participants who used the latest conversational GPT-4 AI model in their smartphones. Participants were selected using convenience sampling techniques. The results revealed a relationship between the usage of the conversational GPT-4 AI model and cybercrime incidence (R=0.255, R2=0.065, F(1, 189)=13.223, p< 0.01). The baseline usage of the conversational GPT-4 AI model was also found to significantly predict an increase in social media addictions (R=0.434, R2=0.188, F(5, 195)=24.147, p<0.01). The study also revealed that the usage of the conversational GPT-4 AI model was significantly associated with an increase in both cybercrime and social media addictions (R=0.474, R2=0.226, F(2, 185)=5.991; p<0.01). Based on the study’s findings, there is a need to develop and deliver educational programs to inform users about the responsible use of AI technologies, including the GPT-4 model

This study investigated the impact of gender role stress on self-esteem and self-efficacy among parents (N=590) with interchanged roles in Cavite, Philippines. The significance of this research lies in its exploration of evolving gender roles within the context of a traditionally gendered society. Using structural equation modeling (SEM), the study examined relationships between gender role stress, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. The results revealed that gender role stress generally had a negative impact on self-esteem, particularly for working housewives (β=-0.408, p<0.001), while among househusbands it had a positive impact (β=0.552, p<0.001). Self-efficacy was found to be a significant mediator of the relationship between gender role stress and self-esteem among househusband (β=0.115, p<0.05), but not in working housewives (β=-0.03, p>0.05). The study emphasized the need for societal support mechanisms to mitigate the adverse effects of gender role stress and promote mental well-being in these contexts. Through a semi-structured interview and interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), the study uncovered three key themes: (a) navigating social interactions and boundaries; (b) understanding love and relationships; and (c) desires and expectations in relationships. These insights highlighted the need for tailored sex education, family support, and positive media portrayals. According to the study, a young man with ASD has difficulty interacting socially, particularly when it comes to recognizing cues and establishing limits with others. His romantic aspirations may be impacted by his inability to comprehend emotions and societal prejudices. The results show that to normalize his experiences and promote healthy relationships, family support, specialized sex education, and favorable media portrayals are essential

Zakat as one of the pillars of Islam explains the special obligation to issue a portion of individual wealth for social good. Much literature examines zakat from various aspects, both from the legal aspect (fiqh), management, its potential and role in poverty alleviation. Indonesia, as a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, certainly has the potential to become a surplus country in the field of zakat, of course, if it is managed optimally, professionally and accountability. It can be proven that in recent decades, amil zakat bodies and institutions (BAZ/LAZ) have been formed. Then there is the community as the most important element in the management of zakat, because it is the community who is the giver and at the same time the beneficiary of zakat management. Apart from that, in the context of economic rationality, there is also a professional zakat that can help narrow the income gap and expand opportunities for those who are less fortunate. As well as in the Islamic consumption pattern, consumption is more influenced by needs than wants and takes into account utility which is oriented towards the hereafter.
