Natuurschoon van Bantam: Pariwisata Kolonial dan Pembentukan Citra Alam Banten, 1920-1942
Get PDFTulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara kegiatan pariwisata pada masa akhir kolonial dengan pembentukan persepsi dan identitas ekologis Banten. Kolonialisme, melalui kanonisasi pengetahuan, pengembangan infrastruktur, dan propaganda wisata, telah mengonstruksi citra ideal alam Banten sebagai wilayah yang indah dan eksotis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber primer, seperti laporan perjalanan, panduan perjalanan, artikel media massa, dan sumber visual. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana citra alam Banten dibangun oleh struktur kolonial. Citra ini tidak hanya difungsikan sebagai daya tarik wisata bagi kalangan Eropa, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen kontrol kolonial atas masyarakat lokal. Representasi alam Banten yang dipromosikan pada masa kolonial menciptakan narasi ekologis tertentu yang mengukuhkan hegemoni kolonial. Dalam konteks ini, pariwisata menjadi salah satu alat untuk mempertahankan kekuasaan melalui produksi pengetahuan, pengaturan ruang, dan penguasaan sumber daya lokal. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan citra alam oleh kolonialisme tidak hanya memengaruhi persepsi wisatawan, tetapi juga membentuk identitas ekologis wilayah Banten yang masih memiliki dampak hingga masa kini.

KOHESI LEKSIKAL DAN GRAMATIKAL PADA WACANA “GANJAR PRANOWO” DALAM KOMPAS.COM
Get PDFThis article aimed to describe the form of grammatical and lexical cohesion markers in online news regarding the 2024 campaign of presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo on Kompas.com. The design of the current study was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data were in the form of texts taken from 10 online news about Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidate campaign on Kompas.com during September 2023. The data collection technique used was note-taking, and the data analysis technique used in this research was the distributional method. The present results found forms of grammatical cohesion in the form of references, substitutions, ellipses and conjunctions. Meanwhile, the lexical cohesion consisted of synonymy, antonymy, repetition and collocation. Building Block Games to Train Concentration in Children Aged 3-4 Years
Get PDFTujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan building block untuk melatih konsentrasi belajar anak usia 3-4 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis one group pree-test post-tes design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia dini (usia 3-4 tahun) di KB Salafiyah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh Thitung=-2 dan Ttabel untuk N=17 Taraf signifikan 5% atau 0,05 sebesar 35, maka (-2<35). Data tersebut menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian permainan building block dapat mempengaruhi atau mengingkatkan konsentrasi belajar dan anak menjadi lebih fokus serta tenang dalam belajar
Elementary School Students' Ability to Solve Mathematical Story Problems
Get PDFElementary school students' ability to solve mathematical story problems is important in implementing contextual learning in everyday life, but students often have difficulty understanding and solving story-based problems. This study analyses students' ability to solve mathematical story problems, namely conceptual understanding, operational abilities, and problem-solving. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research carried out in stages from September 2023 to April 2024. The study subjects were 34 fifth-grade students who were given five essay story problems. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive statistics with percentages. The results showed that in the aspect of conceptual understanding, the average score of students was 2.18, with the majority of answer categories at a low level (47.05%). Regarding operational abilities, the average score reached 2.35 for multiplication and 2.32 for division operations, with the highest answer categories at a low level (35.29% and 35.29%). In the problem-solving aspect, the average student score was 1.76 for question 4 and 1.88 for question 5, with most students (58.82% and 44.11%) in the low category. Overall, the average score of students in solving story problems was 52.65, with a standard deviation of 18.80; the highest score was 90, and the lowest score was 25. These results indicate that students' ability to solve mathematical story problems still needs to be improved, especially in problem-solving. More structured learning interventions based on problem-solving steps are recommended to improve students' abilitie

Menunjukkan bahwa suatu bentuk usaha transformasi yang bijak terhadap hukum Islam supaya bisa digunakan sesuai ketentuan zaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kepustakaan atau library research, dan Teknik pengumpulan data dengan membaca literatur-literatur yang bisa dijadikan sumber sesuai penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembukuan undang-undang hukum keluarga Maroko 1957 mengadopsi kitab fikih klasik, sehingga dilakukan lagi perubahan setelahnya. kitab undang-undang maroko yaitu mudawwana al-usra merupakan bentuk terakhir dari banyak perubahan yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Kitab undang-undang satu ini hasil dari perubahan secara radikal oleh komite yang bertugas. Ditinjau dari historisnya bahwa kitab mudawwana yang lama masih secara utuh merujuk kepada kitab-kitab fikih yang mana bersifat kultur lama. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact caused by the dissemination of information circulating on social media that endangers the Islamic status of a Muslim and provide solutions that can be done to prevent harm to the Muslim. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection done by literature study. The result of this research is that social media users tend to imitate what is received from social media and one of the things circulating on social media is an Islamic invalidation which includes making fun of Islamic teachings and shirk. Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the influence of product knowledge, halal labeling, and religiosity on purchasing decisions for halal food at SFA Steak & Resto (SFA Halal Food) Gentan. The research focuses on millennials born between 1980 and 2000, aged 23-43 years, residing in Sukoharjo, who have made purchases, with an unknown population size. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with a sample size of 100 respondents. The sample size proportionally represents each sub-district in Sukoharjo. The sampling technique employed was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires. The type of data used is cross-sectional data, obtained from primary and secondary sources. The results of the study indicate that product knowledge, halal labeling, and religiosity simultaneously influence purchasing decisions. The development of religiosity and the implementation of strategies using AI and ML algorithms are suggested for further application
THE IMPACTS OF DIEGETIC STRATEGIES ON THE LOCALIZATION QUALITY OF GENSHIN IMPACTS' ACHIEVEMENT FEATURES
Get PDFThe aim of this thesis is to find out how the strategy of achievement on Genshin Impact term is translated from English into Indonesian in video game. This research uses qualitative method to explore the objectives of the research. The researcher collected data through several steps which aims are: to find the translation strategy contained in the video game, to classify and analyze the types of translation strategy from Achievements on Genshin Impact based on Purnomo translation strategy in video games theory, then determine the most dominant type of translation strategy and describe the translation strategy of Genshin Impact and finally concluded the result. The results of this research showed that Purnomo's (2019) proposed strategies for translating video games are used, 149 data were found, classified into the following categories: 2 Abbreviation, 13 Condensation, 13 Omission, 8 Symbolization, 88 Retention, and 25 Mediation. Therefore, the dominant data is Retention, which means that Retention is used to preserve source language words or terms that are considered and accepted conventionally by gamers and become fatal if translated. Based on the analysis, the localization quality assessment reveals that Achievements in Genshin Impact localization achieve a "Good" rating, with an average score of 2.8
BEYOND THE SCREEN: THE RETCONNING OF BLACK CHARACTERS IN POPULAR CULTURE MOVIES THROUGH THE LENS OF BLACKWASHING
Get PDFThe portrayal and adaptation of characters in movies often reflect societal norms and values, with "blackwashing" emerging as a significant phenomenon. Blackwashing refers to casting black actors in roles traditionally portrayed by white characters, often as part of efforts to promote representation and address historical inequalities. This study explores the types of retroactive continuity (retcon) found in black characters within popular culture films through the perspective of blackwashing. The research employs Hutcheon’s (2013) adaptation theory, which conceptualizes adaptation as creative reinterpretation rather than mere replication, alongside Friedenthal’s (2017) retcon framework and Genette’s (1997) qualitative transformation theory for supplementary analysis. Using a qualitative approach, the study applies the documentation method for data collection and Spradley’s (2016) analysis technique. Seven adapted films (hypertexts) are compared to their original works (hypotexts), revealing three distinct types of retcon: reinterpretation, reinscription, and revision. These findings demonstrate how adaptation practices not only reshape narratives but also challenge traditional representations to align with evolving social values. The findings highlight how adaptation practices reshape narratives to address historical inequalities and enrich representation in media. This research contributes to the understanding of blackwashing as a tool for inclusivity and social progress in film adaptation. Future studies are recommended to explore blackwashing across diverse cultural contexts and genres to deepen insights into its impact on global representation and audience reception

The researcher uses Arabic rhetoric theory as written by Abd al-Rahman Hassan Habankah al-Maidani on the topic "Arab Rhetoric, its Foundations, Science and Art", especially in the Badi' chapter on rhetoric. The way to use this theory is to look for words or sentences that match the sermon with the types written in the book. The method used by researchers in analyzing this research is a qualitative research method by taking a library analysis approach and specifying activities and library materials without requiring field research.
