UTILIZATION OF TRADITIONAL GAMES AS TEACHING MATERIAL IN BIPA LEARNING
Get PDFCongklak is a local culture that can be utilized as BIPA teaching material. There needs to be research on BIPA teaching materials regarding the game of congklak with local wisdom content that can be integrated with religious moderation. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research related to the traditional game of congklak which is associated with the principles of religious moderation in BIPA learning conducted at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. This research aims to examine the utilization of traditional games based on local wisdom and religious moderation as teaching materials. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study are local wisdom-based materials using the traditional game of congklak with data sources in the form of documents and several references relevant to the research. The results showed that the conventional congklak game could be used as a fun and effective teaching material for BIPA learning because, in addition to being used as an introduction to Indonesian culture. AGENT IN DENNY CAKNAN’S HIT SONGS: JANET WOLFF’S SOCIAL PRODUCTION ANALYSIS
Get PDFThis study examines the social ideas embedded in Denny Caknan's hit songs—Kartonyono Medot Janji, Sugeng Dalu, and Los Dol—using Janet Wolff's social production theory. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research integrates intrinsic elements, such as lyrics and music videos, with extrinsic elements, including cultural, social, and personal contexts. The findings reveal that Denny Caknan's works resonate deeply with audiences due to their relatable narratives of heartbreak and resilience, rooted in the Javanese cultural preference for emotionally evocative songs. The "agent" in these works is represented by sobat ambyar (the broken-hearted community), who amplifies the cultural and emotional significance of his music. Additionally, the incorporation of visual elements inspired by modern trends, like Korean dramas, enhances the universal appeal of these songs. This analysis highlights the dynamic interplay between individual creativity and collective cultural production, emphasizing the role of societal influences in shaping artistic expression. Ultimately, Denny Caknan's music exemplifies how popular art can serve as both a reflection of cultural identity and a medium for shared emotional experience
Penerapan Metode Wafa dalam Pengenalan Huruf Hijaiyah pada Anak Usia Dini di TPQ Masjid Baiturrahman Royal Mataram
No full textPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti terhadap penerapan metode wafa dalam pengenalan huruf hijaiyah pada anak usia dini di TPQ Masjid Baiturrohman Roayal Mataram. Metode wafa merupakan pembelajaran yang menggunakan konsep Quantum Teaching dengan pola Tandur akronim dari Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi dan Rayakan, yang di mana sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam mengenalkan huruf hijaiyah pada anak usia dini. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui penerapan metode wafa dalam mengenalkan huruf hijaiyah bagi anak usai dini di TPQ Masjid Baiturrohman Royal Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendektan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan verivikasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: Penerapan metode wafa di TPQ Masjid Baiturrohman Royal Mataram mengikuti kegiatan yang sudah dirancang oleh wafa pusat sendiri walaupun tidak terlaksana secara menyeluruh. Mengenalkan huruf hijayah dengan metode wafa membantu anak usia dini dalam mengenal huruf hijaiyah yang sesuai dengan makhraj dan nada hijaz. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa melalui metode wafa memudahkan anak dalam mengenal huruf hijaiyah terlihat dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran, keaktifan guru dalam mengajar dan hasil pembelajaran.

HYPERSPIRITUALITY OF MUSLIM TEENS LEARNING RELIGION ON THE INTERNET ERA
Get PDFThis study investigates three key questions: how Muslim youth interpret religion in the Internet era, how the Internet influences and constructs it, and how religion is conceptualized. This is a qualitative study. The data was gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. This study comprised 71 Muslim teens aged 17 to 21 from Kediri Regency who were chosen for their extensive usage of the Internet to explore Islam. The analysis involved data reduction, visualization, and conclusion. Data analysis techniques included descriptive, analytical, and interpretative approaches. The study's findings revealed that Muslim teenagers who learn Islam online experience hyperspirituality due to hypersemiotics. False indications and incomplete learning due to ignorance of Islamic religious research should lead to a nihilistic interpretation of Islam. Teens are deceived by the ideology driving religious information on the Internet, which they believe is neutral. Anti-ideological ideologies undoubtedly serve ideological goals. As a result, they incorrectly feel that the lack of dogma in online Islamic education prevents them from achieving their primary purpose
BABYFYING MUSEUM TEXTS FOR YOUNGER VISITORS THROUGH AUGMENTED REALITY
Get PDFMuseums have long been recognized as a place to study historical objects. However, at the same time, museums are considered unfamiliar to younger visitors due to the complexity of the descriptions of their artifacts. In order to overcome this problem, this research attempted to simplify the museum texts through an application named babyfication. The process of simplification involves three main components: conceptual simplification, modification for simplicity, and summarization of text. For enhancing the comprehension of the museum texts, augmented reality (AR) technology features are utilized in the process. Through a combination of simplified language, vibrant visuals, and interactive elements, this research tried to prove the beneficial outcomes from AR technology in bridging the gap between traditional museum texts and the developmental needs of young children, particularly dealing with their engagement with cultural artifacts. A qualitative research approach and Spradley’s data analysis technique were employed to figure out how the descriptive texts of museum artifacts are babyfied. Applying the theory of babyfication from Purnomo et al. (2021) as a ludic adaptation concept, it was revealed that textual, visual, and operative elements, that have been babyfied by using AR technology as a medium, tend to be textually simpler, more visually appealing, and make it easier for children to understand the information
Analysis of Factors Influencing the Interest in Using QRIS as a Payment Method in Society
Get PDFThe development of technology increasingly demands that we transition to digital methods, including transaction activities. Nowadays, numerous digital-based transactions exist, one of which is the Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard, known as QRIS. QRIS is widely favored, especially among millennials, due to its effective and efficient usage. With just a single handheld smartphone, transactions can be conducted anywhere and anytime. Therefore, this study aims to determine the factors influencing consumer interest in using QRIS. This research is quantitative, utilizing primary data in the form of questionnaires. The analysis technique used is SEM PLS. The results of the study indicate that all hypotheses are supported: H1: the influence of Ease of Use on the interest in using QRIS as a payment medium, H2: the influence of Enjoyment on the interest in using QRIS as a payment medium, and H3: the influence of Trust on the interest in using QRIS as a payment medium, with respective values of 27%, 36%, and 37%. This proves that all hypotheses are supported. This study contributes by providing deeper insights into the benefits of using QRIS as a payment medium for society
Accessibility and Its Impact on Third-Party Funds in Indonesian Islamic Banking
Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the impact of financial inclusion variables on third-party funds (DPK) in Islamic banking. The variables analyzed include both financial inclusion and non-financial inclusion factors. Financial inclusion variables are represented by office networks, ATM networks, and the number of savings customers. Meanwhile, non-financial inclusion variables include DPK, interest rates, profitability, yield equivalent, and the size of Islamic banking institutions. This research uses a quantitative approach with the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) and Eviews as the analysis tool. The findings reveal that the financial inclusion variables significantly influencing Islamic banking deposits are the office network (KTR), ATM network (ATM), and the index of the number of DPK accounts per 1000 adult population (IRDPK). These results indicate that expanding banking infrastructure and increasing access to financial services play a critical role in boosting Islamic banking deposits. This study contributes to understanding how financial inclusion factors interact with other banking variables to shape the performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, providing insights for policymakers and financial institutions in enhancing financial accessibility and deposit mobilization
Should Sharia Banks Go Public: Analysis Using The RGEC Method
Get PDFRecently, the OJK has encouraged Shariah banks to go public to obtain new funding sources for business expansion, increasing corporate value and image. In fact, are Sharia Banks that go public better than non-go public. Therefore, this study aims to test whether the health of Sharia Banks that go public is better than non-go public. Observation data used 122 Sharia Banks during the 2014-2022 period. Using an independent sample t-test and RGEC health indicators, we find that Sharia Banks that go public have better health than non-go public but are not significantly different. These results also indicate why Sharia Banks go public are not as many as Conventional Banks. Sharia Banks adhere to the principle of prudence, including going public. If going public does not significantly change the health and performance of a Shariah Bank, the initiative to go public needs to be careful because ownership will transfer to shareholders. It will be a problem if shareholders do not understand Sharia principles
Market Dominance in Indonesia’s Islamic Banking: Critical Analysis From an Industrial Organisation Perspective
Get PDFThe merger of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has resulted in the formation of a substantial Islamic bank capable of effectively competing with large conventional banks. Despite this, concerns have been raised that BSI might eliminate smaller Islamic banks. This study aims to critically analyze the characteristics of market dominance in Indonesia's Islamic banking industry before and after the merger of BSI from an industrial organization perspective. We utilized several indicators, including the Concentration Ratio (CR), Herfindahl–Hirschman Index (HHI), and Melnik ratio. The findings strongly indicate market dominance in the Islamic banking industry following the BSI merger. However, we argue that the market dominance achieved by BSI fosters a positive environment by reducing fragmentation within the industry. This merger has also prompted other conventional banks to optimize their support for Islamic banks. Additionally, BSI has the potential to drive the Islamic banking industry forward. Therefore, the BSI merger represents a viable option for the government to support the development of the Islamic banking sector, while competition within the industry remains dynamic. Based on our findings, we recommend that State-Owned Banks provide further support for the development of BSI, and that other conventional banks optimize their support for Islamic banks
Enhancing ZIS management through marketplace platforms: Opportunities and sharia compliance challenges

Marketplaces offer convenience in ZIS collection, while LAZ ensures Sharia compliance in fund management. This study highlights how such collaboration significantly expands the reach of ZIS collection, presenting immense potential, but also identifies challenges in ensuring Sharia compliance and accountability. The research employs a qualitative methodology to explore the dynamics of the collaboration between Zakat Institutions and marketplace platforms. Thematic analysis was applied to identify key themes related to the opportunities and challenges of the collaboration. The research contributes to the understanding of digital platforms' role in faith-based financial management, offering practical insights for enhancing cooperation between LAZ and marketplaces. It emphasizes the need for dialogue, public education about ZIS and qurban, and system adjustments to ensure Sharia compliance. The findings have practical implications for improving digital ZIS management through enhanced accountability and regulatory frameworks, making this collaboration a model for leveraging technology in religious fund managemen
