Entrepreneurship Financing Strategy for Early Childhood Education
Get PDFThe limited number of students and the socio-economic status of their parents, who fall into the lower middle class, result in PGRI Widya Loka Pujodadi kindergarten having insufficient financial resources. This study aims to investigate the management of financing for early childhood education at PGRI Widya Loka Pujodadi kindergarten, with a specific focus on entrepreneurship approaches. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on the institution's financial staff as the main subject. The informants for this study include teachers, education staff members, committees, and Pujodadi village officials. The methodologies employed for data collection in this study encompass observation, interviews, and documentation. In order to ascertain the reliability of the research data, the researchers applied source and method triangulation. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model. The research findings indicate that implementation management at institutions involves all institution components, ranging from teachers to parents of students. The institution's funding is derived from government allocations (BOS funds), parents' contributions, and internal entrepreneurial initiatives. Entrepreneurship can be fostered by institutions that provide financial support, enhance public accessibility, and cultivate relationships with the community and neighboring institutions. The formulation of financing at the institution is looked at based on a priority scale and guided by the institution's vision, mission, and goals
Implementation of Character Education Based on Local Wisdom in Dance Extracurriculars at Elementary Schools
Get PDFWestern culture is currently developing very rapidly along with technological developments; this has a big impact on the development of the character and morals of students in Indonesia. This research aims to (1) Describe the implementation of character education based on local wisdom in dance extracurriculars at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo; (2) Describe the values of local wisdom in extracurricular dance, especially the Kebo Kinul dance at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were 15 students who were active in extracurricular dance and 1 dance teacher. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are: (1) The implementation of character education based on local wisdom in extracurricular dance at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo was carried out by preserving the regional culture of the Kebo Kinul Dance, which developed in Sukoharjo Regency; (2) The values contained in the Kebo Kinul dance extracurricular are the value of working together, the value of gratitude and the value of love for the homeland. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation goes through the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation following the curriculum to achieve national education goal

Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan ibu Nyai dalam character building santri perempuan di lingkungan pondok pesantren Mu’allimin Mu’allimat Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon. Penelitian mempergunakan metodologi kualitatif didukung oleh pendekatan deskriptif. Data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan melalui survei, wawancara, serta tinjauan literatur mengenai pimpinan lembaga dan pimpinan yayasan. Prosedurnya disempurnakan dengan peneliti yang berperan sebagai instrumen utama. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan Ibu Nyai Masthuroh sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan situasional Hersey dan Blanchard dengan tipikal kharismatik. sedangkan Unsur- unsur karakteristik yang dikembangkan dalam pendidikan di pondok pesantren Mu’allimat Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon memuat enam unsur karakter, yaitu spiritualitas, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatifitas dan tanggung jawab. Implikasi dari penelitian ini bahwa efektifitas kepemimpinan berbanding lurus dengan gaya kepemimpinan yang dimiliki seorang pemimpin. TESTING THE J-CURVE PHENOMENON ON INDONESIA'S TRADE BALANCE WITH THE FIVE BIGGEST TRADING PARTNERS
Get PDFThe J-Curve is an assumption that exchange rate depreciation will improve a country's trade balance in the long term. This phenomenon occurs when exchange rate depreciation causes the trade balance to worsen in the short term. However, in the long term the trade balance will improve and increase permanently. This study aims to test whether the J-Curve phenomenon occurs in Indonesia's bilateral trade balance with the five largest trading partners using the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) method and in the observation period 2010.1-2022.12. The results of the analysis of the Impulse Response Function (IRF) show that the J-Curve phenomenon occurs in the trade balance model between Indonesia and Japan and the United States. Meanwhile, for Indonesia's trade balance with the European Union, exchange rate depreciation can improve the trade balance directly. For Indonesia's trade balance with China and Singapore, exchange rate depreciation improves the trade balance initially, but will worsen (inverted J-curve) in the long term so that the long-term impact of exchange rate depreciation on the trade balance is negative
A HUNDRED YEAR OF SITI NURBAYA: ADAPTATIONS FROM FILMS TO MUSICALS
Get PDFThis objective of thi sresearch is to map the development of Siti Nurbaya story within its first hundred years. The data is taken from the adaptations of Siti Nurbaya novel into various forms resulting in intriguing discussions from the Nurbaya Musical Series and song lyrics about Siti Nurbaya. Changes from the novel to adaptation forms involve additions, reductions, and adjustments, which are then discussed. This study reveals: (1) the development of Nurbaya's character from the novel to adaptation forms, impacting the storyline and sociological aspects within these adaptations. (2) The addition of new characters, such as Etek Rahma, Nurbaya's conservative aunt, influences various events and plots within the adaptations. (3) Changes in perspective also create new viewpoints, for example, the followers of Datuk Meringgih who in the novel accept menial jobs for instant pleasure, whereas in adaptations, their motivation shifts to supporting their families. (4)Adjustments from the novel to adaptation forms are made to accommodate contemporary times and shorten the consumption time of literary works, thereby modifying conflicts to be more relevant to current contexts
THE INTERTEXTUALITY OF CULTURAL REPRESENTATIONS AS SEEN FROM SPIDERMAN ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (2023) AND MS MARVEL (2022)
Get PDFThis study aims to reveal the intertextual of cultural diversity of Spiderman Across the Spider-Verse (2023) and Ms. Marvel (2022). This study focuses on Spiderman characters: Miles Morales and Pavitr Prabhakar and also Ms. Marvel named Kamala in Ms. Marvel, social life and their surroundings. This study uses the theory from Kristeva (1989) to examine the intertextuality between the two films and representative theory from Stuart Hall(1997) to analyze the cultural representation of Spiderman Miles Morales, Spiderman Pavitr Prabhakar, and Kamala Khan. The researchers used qualitative research methods. Research results show that cultural representation in movies appears beyond superficial markers, incorporating meaning, signs and symbols that are relevant to the characters' backgrounds in society. Both films depict elements such as food, stereotypes, and religious norms that represent a specific culture or religion. However, both films clearly reflect traditional fashion symbols, musical instruments, language, traditions, decorations, and religious rituals. AN ANALYSIS OF FARIS' EMOTIONS IN THE FILM 'QALB AL-ASAD': A PSYCHOLOGICAL LITERARY STUDY OF DAVID KRECH
Get PDFThis study aims to classify and analyze the emotions experienced by the main character “Faris” in the film Qalb Al-Asad (Heart of a Lion) using David Krech’s classification of emotions. The theoretical framework is based on Krech’s theory, which categorizes emotions into four types: (1) basic emotions, (2) emotions related to sensory stimulation, (3) emotions related to self-evaluation, and (4) emotions related to others. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The primary data consists of verbal and non-verbal expressions illustrating the emotional classifications of Faris' character. The data source is the film Qalb Al-Asad, directed by Hossam Mousa. Data collection techniques include listening, observing, classifying, and describing emotional expressions based on Krech’s theory. Content analysis is used to identify, classify, and analyze scenes in the film to understand the emotions conveyed through both verbal and non-verbal expressions. The findings reveal 38 instances of emotional classifications for the main character Faris in the film Qalb Al-Asad, categorized as follows: 21 instances of basic emotions (happiness, anger, fear, sadness), 2 instances of emotions related to sensory stimulation (pain, enjoyment), 9 instances of emotions related to self-evaluation (success, pride, guilt, regret), and 6 instances of emotions related to others (love, hatred)
Pengaruh Green Awareness, Brand Image, dan Brand Trust Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Produk The Body Shop di Kota Surakarta
Get PDFThis quantitative research aims to determine the influence of green awareness, brand image, and trust on purchasing decisions. The sample used in this research was 100 respondents from The Body Shop consumers in Surakarta City. The data collection method was a questionnaire distributed to The Body Shop Surakarta City consumers. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach where the researcher selects samples using certain and subjective criteria. Data analysis in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis by looking at the F statistical value and the T statistic. This research shows that the green awareness variable has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.
Meanwhile, the brand image variable has a negative and insignificant influence on purchasing decisions, and the brand trust variable has a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously or together, green awareness, brand image, and trust influence purchasing decisions. It is hoped that future researchers will use other variables or factors that can influence purchasing decisions

The unemployment rate in Indonesia is a serious issue, particularly among university graduates. It is important for students to have internship experiences that can help them prepare for the workforce to address this issue. Internship experiences, job interest, and self-efficacy play significant roles in improving students' job readiness. This research aims to identify the relationship between internship experiences, job interest, and self-efficacy on students' job readiness. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students of FEBI UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta who had previously participated in fieldwork practices. The analytical method used to test construct validity, instrument reliability, and the relationships between variables is Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the influence of internship experiences, job interest, and self-efficacy on students' job readiness

Karena, pada usia tersebut anak menunjukkan proses tumbuh kembang dan terbentuknya pondasi kepribadian yang mencetak pengalaman pada kehidupan anak selanjutnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pendidik dalam menstimulasi kreativitas anak melalui kegiatan outbonad. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian yang diambil yaitu PAUD rembulan Lampung. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu, penerapan kegiatan outbound melalui beberapa tahap, menentukan tujuan dan tema kegiatan, menentukan macam kegiatan, menentukan tempat dan prosedur kegiatan, melakukan penilaian kreativitas. Setelah diterapkannya kegiatan bermain outboand, kreativitas anak semakin berkembang, anak merasa antusias dan senang dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut, sehingga anak merasa bebas mengekplorasi segala kreativitas yang mereka miliki
