Technological advancements necessitate that educators develop electronic teaching materials to help students grasp complex Nahwu concepts. In Islamic religious contexts, Nahwu plays a fundamental and strategic role in understanding religious texts. This study aims to develop a Sigil-based Nahwu e-module and analyze its effectiveness in instruction. The research employs the Borg & Gall R&D model, with stages encompassing data collection, planning, product development, validation, and field testing. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The e-module’s feasibility, validated by design and content experts, met “very feasible” criteria. Small-group trials yielded a 93.1% score (excellent), and large-group trials achieved 91% (excellent). Learning mastery rates rose from 45.45% (pre-test) to 90.90% (post-test). Thus, the Nahwu e-module positively influences students’ learning processes. It enhances learning autonomy, interactivity, engagement, academic digital literacy, and material standardization. Igniting Voices Together: Work in Pairs as a Catalyst for Speaking English Proficiency in EFL Learning

    Get PDF
This classroom action research investigates the iteratively refined Work in Pairs strategy to enhance oral English skills among 35 eleventh-grade Sundanese-speaking learners. Employing a two-cycle classroom action research design, the study addressed initial challenges in pronunciation, fluency, and vocabulary. Data collection was comprehensive, utilizing preliminary classroom observations and audio recordings for baseline assessment, then consistently applying speaking performance rubrics, a teacher-researcher reflective journal, and student feedback forms/interviews throughout the cycles. Cycle 1, involving pair-based dialog, yielded modest fluency improvements. Reflection, revealing persistent L1 phonetic interference and vocabulary limitations, led to Cycle 2. This cycle incorporated rearranged pairings, audio listening, and targeted vocabulary lists, resulting in substantial gains across all areas, particularly fluency and pronunciation. The findings demonstrate the efficacy of the Work in Pairs strategy, especially when combined with targeted supplementary materials and iterative adaptation, in fostering holistic oral English proficiency in a multilingual context. This study offers practical insights for educators on using collaborative learning to improve speaking skills

The beauty industry is becoming increasingly competitive; however, Viva Cosmetics remains a prominent brand with a positive image among consumers. This study examines the influence of product quality on customer loyalty, with brand image as a mediating variable, among Viva Cosmetics consumers in Surakarta. Using a quantitative approach, the study involved 99 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed with variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS 4. The results reveal that product quality has a positive and significant impact on both customer loyalty and brand image. However, brand image does not significantly affect customer loyalty, indicating it does not mediate the relationship between product quality and customer loyalty. Thus, customer loyalty is more directly driven by product quality. The study suggests that Viva Cosmetics should explore alternative mediating variables to enhance customer loyalt

The Muslim Feminist Movement of the Indonesian Women Ulema Congress (KUPI) on Women's Issues in Indonesia

    Get PDF
KUPI Muslim feminists are born from religious leaders who are sensitive to women's issues. They examine religious texts from a gender perspective, balancing the roles between patriarchal traditions and equality education, on the basis that Islam teaches inclusive justice for all humans. This paper uses a qualitative method with a social approach through Coleman's rational choice theory as an analytical tool on the data findings. The findings in this paper show that the KUPI Muslim feminist movement is based on rational choices constructed through Islamic religious values sourced from sacred texts with a scientific and experiential lens. Rational choice based on religious values raises the concept of rational religion choice. Their movement aims to reconstruct patriarchal domination in religion, and promote gender-inclusive religion through re-reading sacred texts with various holistic and contextual approaches to develop a new epistemology in Islam in feminism. To optimize their goals, they utilize human resources through organizations affiliated with KUPI, as well as online media to spread their ideas. The KUPI Muslim feminist movement reconstructs gender-inclusive Islam through religious rationality, organizational advocacy, and the use of digital media

    Get PDF
This study explores the role of Ngaji Tasawuf Online in preserving classical Islamic knowledge, focusing on the digital transmission of Ihya’ Ulumuddin by Imam Ghazali, led by Ulil Abshar Abdalla. In the context of advancing information technology, digital recitation emerges as an adaptive method for sustaining spiritually rich traditional teachings. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through documentation studies and observations of online sessions shared via platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Spotify. The findings indicate that online recitation enhances accessibility, particularly for individuals constrained by time and location. Moreover, social media facilitates real-time interaction between teacher and participants, fostering a dynamic, though virtual, learning environment. While challenges remain in preserving the depth of classical pedagogy in digital formats, online recitation effectively maintains spiritual traditions in a way that aligns with modern life. Ultimately, it serves not only as a means of knowledge transmission but also as a platform for reinforcing the relevance and depth of classical Islamic teachings today

    Get PDF
Understanding how brand image research in Indonesia has evolved over the past decade is essential for scholars and practitioners aiming to position their work within a rapidly expanding marketing landscape. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of Scopus‐indexed publications on “Brand Image” and “Marketing” related to Indonesia from 2016 to 2025. Using Microsoft Excel 2016 for initial data handling and VOSviewer 1.6.20 for network visualization, we identified 52 relevant articles. Co‑occurrence analysis of author keywords revealed six thematic clusters, dominated by: brand awareness, brand image, purchase intention, social media, and city branding. The term brand image emerged as the most central node, appearing in 19 documents with a total link strength of 21. Temporal mapping shows a steady rise in publications after 2020, reflecting increased scholarly attention to digital‑driven branding strategies. Our findings deliver a clear snapshot of the intellectual structure, influential themes, and research gaps in Indonesian brand‑image scholarship. These insights provide a roadmap for future studies—especially those exploring digital touchpoints and regional branding—to deepen theoretical development and inform evidence‑based marketing practice across Indonesia’s diverse consumer markets
