    Digital Readiness Amidst Rural Realities: A Phenomenological Inquiry into Papuan Pre-service Teachers’ Experiences

    The digital transformation of Indonesian education faces severe geographical and infrastructural hurdles, particularly within the Papua region, where a persistent digital divide complicates the implementation of modern educational standards. This phenomenological study explores how 26 Papuan pre-service teachers navigate the demands of the digital age alongside the mandates of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum). Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research analyzes data collected from students across various districts in Biak to reveal the lived experiences of future educators in underdeveloped areas. The findings highlight a sharp contrast between professional idealism and structural reality; while these pre-service teachers demonstrate high levels of resilience by prioritizing "offline-first" pedagogy and the integration of local wisdom, their readiness is severely constrained by a lack of stable internet access, electricity, and essential digital devices. Furthermore, professional development is significantly hindered by limited access to training and workshops in these remote locations. This study concludes that the readiness of pre-service teachers is structurally limited rather than a result of personal capability. Consequently, the findings contribute to the field by emphasizing that policy interventions must shift from mere curriculum updates to prioritizing foundational infrastructure and localized training. Such targeted efforts are essential to ensure equitable educational progress and to bridge the gap between national digital expectations and the reality of rural Papuan classrooms

    Between Numbers and Logic: How Are Mathematics and Science Learning Outcomes Related?

    This study aims to analyze the relationship between students' mathematics and science learning outcomes using a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design. The quantitative method examines the correlation between the two variables through the Spearman test, while the qualitative method explores students' experiences in learning mathematics and science through interviews and observations. The study was conducted at SD Inpres Mannurukki with a sample of 25 fifth-grade students selected using purposive sampling. Statistical analysis results indicate no significant relationship between mathematics and science learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of -0.067 and a significance value of 0.750 (> 0.05). Interviews with students revealed that they found science concepts easier to understand due to hands-on experiments, whereas mathematics was perceived as more abstract and challenging. These findings suggest that although mathematics and science are logically related, other factors, such as teaching methods and experimental experiences, play a more dominant role in shaping science comprehension. Therefore, it is recommended to implement integrated learning strategies, such as the STEM approach or project-based learning, to enhance the connection between mathematical and scientific concepts in education

    Salah satu upaya strategis dalam pengembangan lembaga pendidikan adalah melalui penerapan knowledge management sebagai sistem pengelolaan pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi knowledge management di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling yang meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi knowledge management berdasarkan model SECI (Socialization, Externalization, Combination, dan Internalization) di SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura mengacu pada yang diwujudkan melalui kegiatan diskusi, pelatihan, pendokumentasian hasil pembelajaran, pengelolaan pengetahuan secara konvensional dan digital, serta penerapan pengetahuan dalam praktik pembelajaran. Implementasi ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi dan kinerja guru, namun belum berjalan optimal. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi, perbedaan pemahaman sumber daya manusia, tingginya beban kerja guru, serta belum adanya kebijakan khusus yang berkelanjutan

    This study analyzes the role of productive zakat distributed by BAZNAS in improving the welfare of the poor in Kampar Regency using NVivo analysis. The findings indicate that productive zakat significantly impacts security, freedom, self-identity, and welfare. Beneficiaries experience more stable income, greater autonomy in managing businesses, enhanced confidence, and improved family quality of life. Beyond the economic aspect, productive zakat also strengthens social and psychological dimensions, thereby reducing dependency, enhancing dignity, and fostering sustainable self-reliance among the poor

    Pengaruh Self-Efficacy dan Toleransi Risiko terhadap Minat Hybrid Career Mahasiswa Solo: Peran Transformasi Digital Sebagai Moderasi

    This study aims to examine the effects of self-efficacy and risk tolerance on students’ interest in hybrid careers, as well as to investigate the moderating role of digital transformation. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire from 140 university students in the Solo region and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS. The results indicate that risk tolerance and digital transformation have a positive and significant effect on hybrid career interest. Furthermore, self-efficacy is found to significantly moderate the relationship between digital transformation and hybrid career interest with a negative interaction effect, whereas risk tolerance does not function as a moderating variable. These findings highlight the novelty of this study by demonstrating that psychological readiness does not always exert a direct influence but interacts contextually with the digital environment in shaping students’ career interests. This research provides important implications for universities and policymakers in designing digital-based career development strategies to better prepare students for the evolving labor market

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses Islamisasi simbolik dalam pertunjukan wayang pada masa konflik Kartasura 1703-1719 yang di mana pada masa tersebut ketidakstabilan kekuasaan dan dominasi VOC menciptakan disorientasi sosial keagamaan di tengah masyarakat Kartasura. Dalam kondisi tersebut, wayang berfungsi sebagai medium budaya yang memungkinkan masyarakat menegaskan kembali nilai moral dan spiritualnya. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana reinterpretasi tokoh Punakawan digunakan untuk menyampaikan ajaran tauhid dan etika sosial Islam. Tokoh Semar direposisikan oleh para dalang sebagai penjaga moral yang menegaskan bahwa sumber kekuasaan sejati adalah Tuhan, bukan penguasa penguasa yang kehilangan legitimasi akibat intrik politik. Sementara itu, Gareng, Petruk, dan Bagong mengartikulasikan nilai amar ma’ruf nahi munkar, kritik sosial, dan serta aspirasi masyarakat kecil melalui humor dan satire yang diarahkan kepada penyalahgunaan kekuasaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islamisasi dalam konteks Kartasura tidak berlangsung melalui dakwah formal, tetapi melalui simbol budaya yang sudah melekat dengan masyarakat, sehingga nilai ketauhidan, keadilan, dan integritas dapat diterima secara halus dan efektif. Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa pada masa krisis politik, kesenian tradisional menjadi ruang penting untuk mempertahankan identitas keagamaan sekaligus menjadi bentuk resistensi kultural masyarakat Jawa.     PRABOWO’S POLITENESS AND IMPOLITENESS STRATEGIES IN THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: A SOCIOPRAGMATIC STUDY

    Abstract: After being elected President of Indonesia in 2024, Prabowo Subianto has gained public attention for his political communication style, particularly during the presidential debates, which play an important role in shaping his public image. This study examines the politeness and impoliteness strategies used by Prabowo in the debates through a sociopragmatic approach. The research method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing debate transcripts as data, which are analyzed using Brown and Levinson's politeness theory and Culpeper's impoliteness framework through ethnographic analysis techniques. The results show that Prabowo employed 31 politeness strategies to establish credibility and closeness while adhering to Indonesian social norms. On the other hand, impoliteness strategies were applied 16 times to assert rhetorical authority and confidence. These findings show that the combination of politeness and impoliteness serves as a pragmatic strategy in building political discourse and electoral positions. This study makes an empirical contribution to political communication practitioners, providing insights into creating contextual and effective communication strategies in Indonesia.Keywords: debate, Indonesian political discourse, politeness, impoliteness, Prabowo Subianto

    Redesigning the ICT-Based Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model for Arabic Language Learning in Primary School: A Systematic Literature Review

    The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become a key catalyst in the transformation of language education, including Arabic language learning at the elementary level. This article aims to redesign an ICT-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model that is contextual and adaptive to student characteristics. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach by analyzing articles from five major databases Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), DOAJ, Sinta, and Google Scholar published between 2015 and 2025. A total of 75 articles were thematically analyzed, revealing three major trends: the use of LMS & Digital Platforms (47%), gamification (33%), and mobile learning (20%). The findings revealed that LMS functions as the backbone of structured digital learning, gamification enhances motivation and active participation, while mobile learning expands learning spaces beyond formal classroom settings. These three approaches can be strategically integrated into the key phases of PBL. The integration of ICT at each stage has been proven to strengthen student engagement, foster learner autonomy, and enrich the communicative and contextual Arabic language learning experience. This model offers practical pedagogical implications for Arabic learning in Islamic educational institutions by providing a scalable framework that aligns technological integration with learner-centered and context-based language learning

    The Usefulness of the TikTok Application as a Learning Medium for Children's Kinesthetic Intelligence

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecerdasan kinestetik anak usia 5 – 6 tahun yang dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain one group pretest posttest dengan t-test atau uji memiliki rumus thitung > ttabel. Jika thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan bantuan program SPSS Windows versi 2.1. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B di TK Mutiara Hati Pulau Burung. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh aplikasi Tiktok terhadap kecerdasan kinestetik digunakan rumus gain ternormalisasi dan didapat dari hasil rumus tersebut sebesar 80,6% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh thitung=20,833 dan ttabel 1,77093,maka thitung>ttabel (20,833>1,77093). Data tersebut menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan dari hasil penelitian  bahwa terdapat pengaruh aplikasi Tiktok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap  kecerdasan kinestetik anak di TK Mutiara Hati Kecamatan Pulau Burung Kabupaten  Indragiri Hilir.   Kunci Kunci : TikTok, Media Pembelajaran, Kecerdasan Kinestetik This study aims to determine the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years influenced by the use of the TikTok application as a learning medium. This study uses a quantitative research method with a one-group pre-test post-test experimental design, which is tested with a t-test or a test with the formula t count > t table. If the t-count is greater than the t-table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with the help of the SPSS Windows version 2.1 program. The subjects in this study were children in group B at the Mutiara Hati Pulau Burung Kindergarten. To determine the extent of TikTok's influence on kinesthetic intelligence, a normalized gain formula was used, and the result of the formula was 80.6%, which falls into the high category. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis in the experimental class, t count = 20.833 and t table = 1.77093, so t count > t table (20.833 > 1.77093). The data shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded from the research results that there is an effect of the TikTok application as a learning medium on the kinesthetic intelligence of children at the Mutiara Hati Kindergarten, Pulau Burung District, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The research employs a literature-based approach, utilizing primary sources such as Hosein's works on eschatology and Bultmann's writings on demythology, alongside secondary sources from relevant academic literature. The findings reveal notable methodological parallels between Hosein’s interpretations and Bultmann’s demythologization, particularly in their shared use of hermeneutic techniques. However, a key distinction lies in their epistemological foundations: while Bultmann approaches the New Testament through a Christian existentialist lens, Hosein’s interpretations are deeply rooted in Sufi epistemology and his perspective as a Muslim scholar interpreting the Qur'an
