Emotions are feelings that have a significant impact on behavior, so emotions are an important aspect of human life. Humans have many ways to express the emotions they feel. For example, literary works are poetry, novels, films, dramas, memoirs, biographies and songs. However, it is not rare, when someone uses a song in a foreign language to describe his feelings, the lyrics of the song do not coincide with what he wants to convey because someone does not know the translation of the lyrics of the song. Especially the meaning of the song. Research conducted by M. Rizqat Khairani and Dr. Ain Suryanengsih in analyzing the classification of love emotions for the character Laila in the novel Rebellious Spirits by Khalil Gibran explains the classification of emotions of the main character in the novel, but only the emotion of love is examined and it differs from this research which uses song objects and analyzes all classifications of emotions. This research aims to know the emotions contained in song lyrics, especially Nancy Ajram's songs, based on David Creech's theory of classification of emotions. The theory used in this research is David Creech's emotion classification theory. In his book Elements of Psychology, David Creech proposes 4 classifications of emotions, namely basic emotions (e.g. pleasure, anger, fear, sadness), emotions related to sensory stimulation (e.g. pain, disgust, enjoyment), and emotions related to self-evaluation (e.g. success and failure, pride and shame, feeling guilt and remorse), and emotions related to other people (for example: love and hate). Emotions are analyzed in this research by grouping words according to the emotional classification in each song.
The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method through which the results of the analysis are described and qualified based on the theory used, which is David Creech’s theory of categorization of emotions. The results of this research are that, among the four classifications of emotions proposed by David Creech, not all classifications of emotions are found in the lyrics of Nancy Ajram's songs. In most songs, there is only one classification of emotions with one or two examples of emotions. Indeed, there is a classification of emotions that is not present in Nancy Ajram's song lyrics at all, which are emotions related to sensory stimulation (such as pain, disgust, and pleasure)
Arabic تحليل الأخطاء اللغوية في المحادثة اليومية لطالبات فصل الثامن بالمعهد العصري تعمير الإسلام سوراكرتا السنة الدراسية ٢٠٢٥/٢٠٢٤ م: An Analysis of Linguistic Errors in the Daily Conversations of Eighth-Grade Female Students at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in the Academic Year 2024/2025
This study aims to identify the types of linguistic errors in the daily conversations of eighth-grade female students at Ma’had Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta and to evaluate the corrective efforts made by language supervisors and coordinators. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, using participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation for data collection. The results reveal 29 grammatical (nahwu) errors and 22 morphological (sharaf) errors, most of which stem from the inadequate application of Arabic linguistic rules. Common mistakes include the inappropriate use of verbs in relation to tense, the omission of the particle “أن” between two present tense verbs, and errors in using number and feminine plural forms. The main cause of these errors is a lack of structured practice and weak understanding of grammatical rules. The institution has implemented various measures, such as establishing an active language supervisory structure, conducting daily language correction, organizing regular language training, and holding language-based competitions. In conclusion, the creation of a communicative Arabic-speaking environment and systematic supervisory strategies significantly contribute to the improvement of students’ Arabic speaking skills.

“Bridging the digital divide”: Assessing and advancing teachers’ digital literacy across Indonesian provinces
Amid the accelerating integration of digital technologies into educational ecosystems, a critical gap remains in the systematic evaluation and strategic enhancement of teachers’ digital literacy across Indonesia’s diverse regions. This encourages the pressing need for validated assessment instruments and targeted interventions to support educators' competencies. This study disseminates a rigorously validated digital literacy measurement tool grounded in the Instant Digital Competence Assessment (IDCA) framework and investigates the digital literacy levels of elementary school teachers in several provinces of Indonesia, i.e., DKI Jakarta, West Java, and West Sumatra. Employing a quantitative-descriptive survey design, data were collected from 296 teachers through online questionnaires. The sample size was calculated using Slovin’s formula with a 10% margin of error, followed by simple random sampling for participant recruitment. The IDCA instrument measures digital literacy across three core dimensions: Technological, Cognitive, and Ethical. The findings reveal that teachers generally exhibit a "fairly good" level of digital literacy. Notably, respondents reported higher competence in the Ethical and Technological domains, particularly in areas such as online safety, respectful digital interaction, and the ability to navigate and utilize digital tools. However, significant deficiencies were identified within the Cognitive dimension, especially concerning critical evaluation of information credibility and analytical processing of digital content. These results highlight the urgent need for strategically designed professional development programs that prioritize the cultivation of higher-order cognitive digital skills. Furthermore, the study advocates for robust educational policies to bolster teacher readiness in delivering technology-enhanced instruction, thereby ensuring meaningful integration of digital tools in 21st-century classrooms
THE RELATIONAL SEMANTICS OF NAFAṠA IN THE QUR’AN: A STUDY IN LIGHT OF TOSHIHIKO IZUTSU’S CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK: SEMANTIK RELASIONAL KATA NAFAṠA DALAM AL-QUR’AN: STUDI DALAM PERSPEKTIF KONSEPTUAL TOSHIHIKO IZUTSU
This study investigates the relational semantics of the word nafaṡa as found in QS. al-Falaq: 4, using Toshihiko Izutsu’s semantic theory to uncover the conceptual and ideological framework embedded in Qur’anic discourse. Through a qualitative-descriptive method and close textual analysis, the research explores the lexical, syntactic, and contextual dimensions of nafaṡa, highlighting its function as more than a physical act of ‘blowing.’ The analysis reveals that nafaṡa serves as a semantic node within a network of oppositional concepts—namely al-syarr (evil), al-‘uqad (knots, internal constraints), and al-taḥṣīn (divine safeguarding)—forming part of the Qur’an’s spiritual cosmology. Far from being merely a linguistic unit, nafaṡa symbolizes a latent metaphysical threat that operates within the Qur’anic worldview and necessitates divine protection. The study contributes to Qur’anic linguistic scholarship by demonstrating how a single lexical item can encode complex ethical, psychological, and theological meanings when analyzed through relational semantics

Implementing Restorative Justice in Criminal Case Resolution: A Socio-Legal Research
This socio-legal research investigates the accountability of criminal offenders and explores the implementation of restorative justice as an alternative framework for resolving criminal cases. Restorative justice, an emerging paradigm in the legal domain, prioritizes reconciliation and resolution over traditional punitive approaches. Law enforcement agencies, particularly the police and prosecutors, are pivotal to its application. This study aims to evaluate the practice of restorative justice in criminal case resolutions at the Sukoharjo Police Department and the Sukoharjo Prosecutor's Office. Adopting an empirical legal research methodology, data collection involved primary and secondary sources through interviews and document analysis. The qualitative data were analyzed using an interactive model to identify patterns and derive insights. The findings reveal that both the Sukoharjo Police and the Prosecutor's Office have incorporated restorative justice within their legal frameworks, albeit with notable differences in legal foundations and procedural approaches. The Sukoharjo Police exhibited a higher frequency of employing restorative justice compared to the Prosecutor's Office, indicating variability in institutional adoption and execution. These findings illuminate the diverse practices and challenges associated with integrating restorative justice into Indonesia's legal system. The study underscores the approach’s potential to enhance justice administration while identifying critical areas for institutional improvement and policy refinement

Supervision of Self-Declared Halal Certification Under Government Regulation No. 39/2021: A Sadd Al-Dzarī’ah Perspective
This study explores the supervision of the self-declared halal certification system under Government Regulation No. 39 of 2021 on the Administration of Halal Product Assurance, analyzed through the sadd al-dzarī'ah perspective. The research focuses on the mechanism for supervising self-declared certifications, identifying potential deviations, and proposing solutions through sadd al-dzarī'ah, which emphasizes preventing risks that could harm society. Using a qualitative normative legal method, this study incorporates a statutory approach and literature review, supported by secondary data from legal documents and interviews with relevant institutions and business actors. The findings highlight challenges in supervising self-declarations, such as limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure, and difficulties in ensuring compliance among businesses. While self-declaration aims to simplify the certification process for micro and small enterprises, insufficient monitoring jeopardizes public trust in product halal integrity. From the sadd al-dzarī'ah perspective, strengthening this regulation is necessary to mitigate violations by expanding the number of supervisors, leveraging monitoring technologies, and raising awareness about halal compliance. These efforts can enhance the effectiveness of the self-declaration system, improve consumer confidence, and bolster Indonesia's reputation in the global halal industry. The study calls for comprehensive policy revisions to ensure the program's accountability and sustainability
ISLAMIC JOURNALISTIC ETHICS IN REPORTING STUDENT SUICIDES ON DETIK.COM: A SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PERSPECTIVE
The reporting of suicide cases poses the risk of triggering copycat behavior, known as the Werther Effect. While many studies have examined media compliance with reporting guidelines and the impact on audiences, few have explored how Islamic journalistic values can offer ethical alternatives. This study introduces a new perspective by integrating Islamic journalistic ethics with social responsibility theory to evaluate the quality of suicide case reporting in online media. Using a qualitative, descriptive approach within a constructivist paradigm, data were collected through interviews with journalists and editors from Detik.com’s Central and East Java offices, alongside an analysis of student suicide news published between August and October 2024. Findings show that Detik.com emphasizes accuracy, neutrality, and verification through credible sources. Articles include warnings to reduce the risk of imitation and protect victims’ privacy, while also providing space for family clarification. These practices align with Islamic values such as ṣidq (truthfulness), tabayyun (verification), ‘adl (justice), amar ma’rūf nahī munkar, and amanah (trustworthiness). The study recommends journalist training on mental health issues and developing a comparative analysis across online media platforms to gain a more comprehensive overview
The Role of Islamic Legal Regulations in Enhancing the Competitiveness of the Halal Tourism Industry in Central Java
This research aims to analyze the role of Islamic legal regulation in enhancing the competitiveness of the halal tourism industry in Central Java, particularly considering the lack of a formal legal framework governing Sharia-based tourism services and destinations. This study is motivated by Central Java’s low position in the National Halal Tourism Index despite its strong potential in Islamic history and culture. A qualitative approach with a case study method was applied in five selected areas: Demak, Kudus, Magelang, Surakarta, and Semarang. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and policy documents analysis. The results show that the absence of specific regional regulations on halal tourism has led to weak service standardization, limited involvement of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), and inconsistencies in application of fiqh mu’amalah principles. The study finds that Islamic legal regulations positively influence the competitiveness of halal destinations by increasing Muslim tourists’ trust, improving the quality of halal infrastructure, and promoting Sharia value-based competitive differentiation. The theoretical implications emphasize the integration of Maqashid Sharia and regional competitiveness theory as a comprehensive framework. This research contributes to Islamic public policy by encouraging collaboration among local governments, fatwa institutions, and industry players in building sustainable halal tourism
